the next day changbin doesn't hesitate to find the trail once again and search for the boy who gleams with beauty. but before he goes, he quickly drops off his belongings at home then runs back to where the trail starts. he wastes no time to find him because he's never seen him in his life before. was he new? was he visiting for only a short time?

changbin could say that once he first saw the boy, he immediately pulled his heart strings. he felt guilty since he was in a relationship with someone, it didn't feel right that he felt butterflies in his stomach when it came to someone who wasn't yunhee. it was no excuse, although their relationship was in a bad state. he couldn't just hop to another without breaking things off. he felt lost, hurt and simply confused of what to do. so as he finds himself at the end of the trail, he watches the field of flowers that felix drowns in. he can see the boy, standing in the middle with his eye catching blonde hair.

changbin shouts, "felix!" he waves his hand, grabbing the boy's attention. "I'm back! you said I was able to come back!"

felix returns a wave politely, "hey changbin." he greets back, he begins to walk towards the boy, cheeks rosy while there is a semi finished flower crown in his hand. "how was your day?"

"tiring, but I just wanted to see you—" changbin says without any thought, but once he processes the words. he mentally slaps himself, "I'm sorry..it's just you've just..caught my attention. I wanted to know more about you.."

"no worries. but what do you want to know?"

"anything." changbin merely admits with a cheeky smile, "I've never seen you around. I feel as if you and I will be great friends."

felix's smile slowly fades and he shrugs, "let's not claim to be friends yet. it'll only hurt us both. but I'll say that I'm seventeen and I've actually lived here all my life. you probably don't see me around because I'm not much of a socializer. I don't go out much as well, except for when I'm here."

"so you're home schooled?" is what changbin gets from his words, "if you're not much of a socializer, how come you're speaking to me?"

"because you're kind to me changbin."

"we're the people you've talked to before not kind to you? did they bully you? should I beat them up?" changbin begins to offer, but felix shakes his head. putting his hands up to his chest, waving them as he tries to calm the infuriated boy.

"no, it's fine."

"that's not fine felix! why would they do that to you! that's not right and—"

"it's okay changbin." felix states softly, he begins to step backwards into the field of flowers. his body disappearing, "they're all dead to me anyways."

"wait! where are you going!" changbin yells, felix begins to turn his back on the boy. but he slowly whips his head to give him a reassuring smile.

"come back tomorrow, we can't talk for long because we mustn't become attached to each other."

"what do you mean? I'll only come back for you."

"changbin, I can't do this to myself and you shouldn't do it to yourself either." felix softly tells, his face gives off a gentle expression. "you can come back if you please, but in the end we'll only have broken hearts."

"felix, you're talking gibberish." changbin claims, "do your parents not allow you being out for so long? I can come earlier."

felix shakes his head, "mom and dad can't forbid anything when it comes to me. literally. I'll see you tomorrow changbin."

as he steps deeper into the field, his figure is unseen and changbin can only let out a sigh. "he talks so weird. but..I'll come back tomorrow, maybe for the last time.."

the mysterious boy named lee felix was right. but, the intriguing personality and never ending beauty was getting to changbin. he couldn't get enough and he'd do anything to see him once more.
