This was bad. The only thing is...
Alex can make stuff. He's smart enough. We just need to be alone so we can make a new power sucker. I don't understand how we are going to do that, though.
I'm the powerful one. Well figure it out. Together.
"Alex," I whispered, "what would you need to make a new power sucker?"
"Batteries, and a metal scrap. I could make one out of that."
The only place I could get batteries is from one of my teammates, and they would have to risk there lives. I need to find another way.
"Alex? Are Edith's servants robots?"
"Yup."
"We need to get the batteries and metal scrap from them."
"Ok."
"Go distract Edith I'll got talk to Cassie."
Then I crawled over to Cassie and we discussed the plan. Then I secretly told everyone and we were ready for action.
Very quickly, I ran over to Edith.
"You are too weak, you are just a regular person."
"What did you say?" She exclaimed.
That created the distraction for Cassie and Ben to go get the batteries and the metal scrap.
They quietly and quickly defeated the robot servants and retrieved the items.
I was still trash talking Edith as Alex was making the sucker.
He slid it over to me.
"You're pathetic," I was saying to Edith.
I lifted off the ground the sucker carefully and said :
"You'd never win."
Then I lifted the sucker higher, turned it on, and shot it at her.
Nothing was happening.
Edith started to laugh evilly and she said,"I'm just a clone, sucker! You'll never find the real one."
Then the clone disintegrated.
Dang it.
My happiness washed away.
We weren't finished.
We had just barely started.
