The two androids lay side by side, power returning to their once broken bodies. 9S was the first one to open his eyes. He gasped, sitting up straight.

"2-2B?" He stared at the droid hopefully. Had 2B, his 2B, really returned to him? She groaned as her eyes barley open.

"Nines..." She mumbled, still in a state of recovery. 9S couldn't believe his eyes or ears. He began to cry softly. His 2B! It was really her! Without a shadow of doubt. His Pod, 153, hovered over him and made a sort of giggle sound.

"Pod153! What.... what happened?" 9S asked.

"Allow me to inform you." 2B's Pod, 042, spoke up. "Following the event of you becoming infected with a virus, A2 fought to rescue you."

"Yeah, but like... what happened after that?" 9S asked. Pod042 didn't say anything for a few seconds.

"We aren't sure. It would appear as if someone or something was controlling a flight unit and destroying some virus." Pod153 beeped. 9S tilted his head slightly. He tensed when he felt a hand on his.

"9S...." 2B whispered as she interlocked their fingers. 9S began to overheat.

"2B? Are you ok?" He asked. 2B smiled slightly and nodded.

"Pod042. Pod153. Thank you both." She said. There was coughing from a few feet above the two androids. A2 rolled off a pile of rubble and grabbed her head.

"What the he-" She began, then stepped back as she noticed. There were many Pods hovering over the androids, not just 042 and 153. 9S and 2B looked up at them all.

"Good work everyone. The androids are rebooted." Pod042 congratulated the other pods. They all made beeping and whirring noises before departing. Where they were going, no one knew. Maybe they had their own secret space just for Pods.

"9S. Is it your command that you wish me to stay with you?" Pod153 asked.

"Y-yes please." 9S replied.

"2B. A2. Is it your command that you wish me to stay with you?" Pod042 asked next. A2 looked at the pod, then at 2B.

"We would be honored to have you accompany us." 2B stated.

"Um, 2B? Where exactly are they going to accompany us to?" 9S wondered. 2B stood up and offered a hand to 9S. He took it and she pulled him to his feet.

"Wherever we go from here. There must be something in the world for us. We must find our future." She said.

"Correct. A future is not something given to you. You must take it for yourself." Pod042 told them. The androids began walking towards the edge of the building. 2B stumbled and 9S swooped down to grab her and pull her up before she hit the floor. She smiled at their sudden contact. 2B grabbed his hand and the two of them stood over the side, looking out onto the vast world in front of them. A2 placed her hand on 9S' shoulder and nodded at him before looking out onto the world for herself.
