Because she had moved while sleeping, it's the sunlight penetrating the room that woke Hinata up, seeing Naruto's blue eyes and big smile. Surprised, she blushed, but it deepened when he caught her hip and pulled it close to him, her own leg now over his.

"Good morning beautiful." and he kissed her.

Her husband's good mood infected her quickly as she was returning his embrace way too passionate for a simple good morning kiss. Moaning, Hinata felt dizzy.

"Happy to see you're better." Naruto cassered her arms, stomach, tights, back, still amazed at how soft her skin was.

"Did you have enough sleep?"

I think so", he rolled on his back to stretch his arms. "Unfortunately, I don't think I slept well. You see, I was really worried for my wife last night."

"I'm so sorry." She started playing with her fingers. "I-"

"Hey." He softly called as he intertwined his fingers with hers. "Stop apologising. I was just teasing."

As she was looking up at him to give him a shy smile, he took advantage of the opportunity to steal another kiss.

"I'll go see Tsunade-sama today, because I have a mission tomorrow, it'll be unfortunate to go when I'm maybe sick."

"Indeed... Very unfortunate."

Seeing concern in her pearly eyes, Naruto faced her, taking back their previous position. When his pelvis met hers, Hinata started to blush again. His caresses were becoming heavier and heavier, coming closer and closer to her breasts or her crotch. Answering the call of her lips, he found himself on top of her, reducing the space between their bodies. Overwhelmed by his presence, a gasp escaped her throat, creating a new smirk on the blond's lips.

"You know... Naruto-kun. I don't think... if we can really do-" She was cut by his numerous kisses. Plus, she couldn't think about anything but her desire for her man on top of her when he was pleasuring himself in torturing her with his tongue and teeth. Hinata's body seemed to be on Naruto's side, against her own words.

"I don't want obaa-chan to be mad because I don't take care of you, Hinata." she breathed against her ear.

Shivering and stuttering, Hinata tried to keep her mind clear, but the mood shifted so suddenly when she felt Naruto move back. "Shit, Hinata! I'll be late!"

Blinking to get rid of the cloud of desire, Hinata looked for the clock, but Naruto was already shaking it before her eyes. "Oh!" was what she said when she saw the time. Last night affected more than I thought. She moved the bedsheet of her legs and climbed out of bed.

All the while, Naruto was fighting with his clothes after he ran to his wardrobe and his drawers. "Damn it!" he growled when he realised his head was in the hole for his arm.

Before this funny picture of himself, Hinata giggled.

"You. You're lucky I'm late. If I wasn't, I would've given you a good reason to laugh at." he threatened.

For only reply, she stuck her tongue out at him before feeling kind of guilty for her husband's lateness. Once his backpack in hand, she went to the kitchen and put his lunch in it while he was putting his shoes on at the front door, already opened.

"Please be careful."

"Don't worry. It's a short mission today. You be careful, ok?" He added, covering her face with kisses as she was nodding. "Love you, Hinata."

"I love you too, Naruto-kun."

Staying at the entrance, she looked at his run to the gate. He opened it and turned around one last time to wave at her. She replied the same way before he disappeared and she closed the door.

Despite him being late and Konoha being as busy as usual, Naruto couldn't help stopping at Ino's shop. Having seen that the florist was offering a new delivery mode, an idea grew in his mind and now happy with what he'd bought, he made his way to the Hokage Tower.

Running up the stairs, he met Izumo and Kotetsu who stopped to remind him it was forbidden to run in the hallways. Then hearing the blond saying that Kakashi was waiting for him, they told him the Rokudaime, true to himself, hadn't finished with the previous team yet.

Waiting outside the office, Naruto was relieved his former sensei was still late in everything he was doing. I should've known better. We could've taken it slow for Hinata after last night.

Suddenly, the door opened, getting rid of his thoughts about his wife. He looked in the room and saw Tenten, Lee and Sai with Kakashi. "It's your turn Naruto."

While exchanging places, the three shinobi greeted their friend then got out of the room as speaking about what they were about to do now that they were back.

"I'm not with them?" Naruto asked.

After the war, the former member of team Kakashi kept doing missions together, but for a few months now, since Sakura's departure, Naruto and Sai would team up with the former members of team Gai: Tenten and Rock Lee.

"No. Today's mission doesn't need four shinobi. Plus, they asked me to give this mission only to you, even though I already had planned to do so.

"They?" Naruto repeated.

"Yes. The clients are Sasuke and Sakura. You'll meet them at a secret spot and they'll hand you a scroll for me. It seems easy, but it's a S-ranked mission, so be on your guard."

"You know me, Kakashi-sensei. You're going to see me and your precious scroll at the village gates before night-ttebayo."

"It's because I know you that I'm asking you to be careful." Kakashi said. "You have to go to the Land of Fire frontier and it's only once out of our land that they'll tell you their position. No one can read that scroll but me, Naruto. Is that clear?"

"Yes, sir!" Naruto said.

"Good. You're dismissed. I'll see you when you're back."

The last thing the older saw was the younger's smile. The last time Naruto saw Sasuke and Sakura was a few days after his wedding day. Several months went by and Naruto had so many things to tell them, but before relaxing with his friend, he had to focus on the mission.

Facing Konoha hospital, Hinata nervously pulled on her dress, trying to relax. It's nothing bad. You said to Naruto-kun you were better this morning. And it's true. She was feeling normal. No more stomachache or bitter taste on her tongue. But given that she was almost never sick, there was a strong possibility for her to have something. Anyway, I promised Naruto-kun I'll go see Tsunade-sama and I never go back on my word.

She made her way to the hospital reception. "Good morning. I'm looking for Tsunade-sama."

"Sorry, but Tsunade-sama is operating right now. Maybe you can come back later."

"That is-"

"Hinata?"

She turned around and recognised Shizune under a medical mask. "Shizune-san! How are you?"

"I'm good thank you, but I don't think you're here for asking how I'm doing." Shizune replied with a smile. "What can I do for you?"

"Well... Um, I would like someone to examine me."

"Examine you? But you don't come back from a mission?"

"No... but last night I wasn't feeling well... But I understand. Others shinobi need you."

"No, not at all. Every patient is important. It doesn't matter for what. Come with me."

"O-Ok. Thank you, Shizune-san."

While walking to a quieter and empty room, Hinata told what happened last night.

"I see." Shizune simply said as she opened the door.

"Really?" Hinata asked with surprise.

Shizune proposed a seat to her patient before sitting herself and searching for Hinata's file on her computer. Once done, she stood up and started examining Hinata with her stethoscope. Normal heart beating, no problems to breathe, no fever, good blood pressure, no throat ache or no stomach ache when feeling it. She wrote everything down on her computer before asking all types of questions.

"One last question: when did you have your period for the last time?" Shizune asked.

"I... can't really remember. But do you think it's linked? Maybe I've been really stressed lately and it stops. Oh Kami, is it really possible?"

Looking at her screen again, Shizune didn't answer. She wrote something again then took a little box out the drawer to give it to her patient.

As her brain was processing the information he just received, her pearly eyes widened. "...Pre... Pregnant?" Hinata repeated, taken aback.

"The pregnancy test in the box that I give you will tell if I'm right or wrong. Unless you told me that Naruto and you haven't-"

"Oh! Um, well... How can I say!... Naruto-kun and I... ah... yes... I mean!" Hinata babbled, extremely embarrassed.

A soft smile on her lips, Shizune nobbed and showed her the bathroom door outside the room. With tentative steps, Hinata went inside.

"Hinata... In my opinion, you're pregnant."

When she got out, her hands were slightly shaking, and being too afraid to see the result first, she gave it to Shizune who looked at it for a few minutes of complete silence.

"Well, well, well. Congratulations, Hinata. I'm sure someone who'll be very happy." Shizune said softly, trying to conforte Hinata.

Speechless, Hinata took back the test and stared at the two little marks. She believed she heard Shizune ask her if she wanted to take the appointments for the following months now, but she was so surprised that she did nothing except placing her trembling hands on her belly.
