Back to Nico's P.O.V.

I noticed Reyna come back in with Sophena. I wonder what that was about, but avert my eyes when Sophena spots me.

Before I know it, I hear Sophena' voice behind me, "Hey, Nico."

I look at her and Reyna together (admittedly, mainly Reyna). I frown and reply in irritation, "Hi."

Reyna punched my arm, "Be nice, Nico."

Sophena lifted an eyebrow in clear amusement. "Well, I guess I'll leave you two then."

I frown deeper. What?

Am I blushing?

"Hey, Neeks." Reyna said.

I nod, "Hey. Why aren't you with Percy?" I bit back venom.

She shrugs, "Because." She starts dancing, and I'm more awestruck than ever. She's. . . Wow. . .

A slow song came on. She reached for my hand and shoulder. I know she heard my heartbeat. I saw her eyes flash with something I couldn't describe, but couldn't process anything.

"Come on, you and me, friends." she laughed beginning to dance.

I hurt at "friends," but nod in grate anyway, "Okay." I place my hand on her waist, and cup my other hand with hers in the air.

My heart beats faster than ever.

I smile, and so does she, but for different reasons. For either reason, we're happy together, and I'll take what I can have. This is magical.

The song ends, and she lets go.

It's moments like this that tell me why I love you, Reyna.
