I'm so sorry for not updating in a while! I'm working on this huge art project for school, and it takes so much of my time!
Next bonus chapters will take place in 2001-2002, because I figured I never wrote anything about those years.
Here's the last part you waited for. Hope you enjoy!

Brooklyn and Janet are 28, Michael is 35
Michael: "Let me go!" I barked at Jermaine and Chris who held me.
I watched as Janet and Brooklyn disappeared into the house.
Once the door closed behind them, my brother let my arm go, and Chris followed.
"I can't believe you cheated on her, Mike," my brother-in-law sighed. "She gave you everything. Her best years were spent on being dedicated to you, to being your wife, to trying to give you a family. She suffered two miscarriages, and for what? For you to cheat on her, eventually? That's messed up."
"You have to believe me, Chris, I didn't cheat on her! I love her, I'd never do that! You know me!" I told him.
"I guess I don't, Mike. If you really love my sister, prove it. Go in there and prove that to me, to her, to yourself."
"But they won't let me in there!"
"See? You're even making excuses. Jesus, Mike."
Chris shook his head before following everyone inside.
I'm so stupid. I should've never gotten mad at her.
"I'm so fucking dumb!" I yelled from frustration.
"Michael?"
I turned around to see Lisa.
"I'm so sorry about this." she apologized.
"It's not your fault, you didn't know Brooke would be here. I didn't even know!"
This is all Janet's fault! If she wouldn't have invited my wife, non of this mess would happen!
"Maybe I should go back to Neverland and get the kids... I appreciate you letting us stay, but you clearly need to work things out with your wife..." Lisa sighed sadly.
"Yeah..."
She gave me a quick hug before getting into the car.
When she was finally gone, I got back inside Janet's house.
I ignored my family's blaming looks as I raced upstairs to my sister's bedroom.
"Janet, open the door." I said as I knocked.
I got a glimpse of a crying Brooklyn who sat on the bed when Janet closed the door behind her.
Her arms were crossed over her chest as her eyes scanned me, like she was searching for an answer.
"I'm so disappointed in you. What happened to Lisa being just a friend, huh?" she said. "Never mind that, but you broke my best friend's heart, Michael! I trusted you to never hurt her! You're so damn so stupid, ugh!"
"Dunk-"
"Don't call me that right now. Gosh, I could choke you."
Janet inhaled sharply. I could clearly see that her patience for me was running low.
"Just listen. I didn't do it." I told her.
"Right, Lisa Marie Presley was all over you because you didn't do it. Stop lying and admit it, Mike," Janet rolled her eyes. "You know what? Just get out. I promised her you'd leave, and take everyone with you. She needs some alone time with me, her best friend, who would never betray her."
With that, she went back into the bedroom, slamming the door shut and locking it.

Janet: Brooke's been pretty much okay for the time she stayed.
She stopped crying a day after the whole mess happened, and started making up for our lost time together.
It surprised me; I thought she'd cry all the time over Michael. But I was wrong. She wanted nothing to do with the subject.
Whenever I tried bringing it up and talk about how she feels, she would find us something to do.
"You know what we need? To go out." I said as I tried on clothes, hoping to find something decent that would fit.
But it was useless, nothing fit me anymore. All of my beautiful clothes just sat in my closet, waiting for me to wear them.
I hated my maternity clothes, they made me feel more fat than I really was.
"I don't really feel like going out." Brooke sighed.
No matter how much I tried, I couldn't get her to get out of the house. We did so many things inside, but nothing outside the gates of my home. Well, nothing fun at least.
"I could take you to the beach, babe. A little bit of sun could do you good." Brandon offered.
"Yeah, Jan. Go to the beach, have some fun." Brooke smiled.
It didn't sound like a bad idea. A few hours sitting in the sun, just me and my boyfriend. And our daughter, of course.
Even though we both knew I'd get tired pretty quickly, it was worth it. I needed to get out.
"Let's go to the beach!" I exclaimed, taking out a one-piece swimsuit that would definitely make my stomach pop out.
~
"Come on, babe, get in the water." Brandon nudged my shoulder.
"Would you stop, please? I just came here to tan." I groaned.
He flashed a smile, his beautiful sea-like eyes sparkling, "What's he point of going all the way to the beach if you don't get in? You can tan at home."
"You wanted to go."
"Well can you at least show off your belly? Stop hiding it under that towel."
I rolled my eyes at him and unwrapped the towel that I put around me.
"Happy?" I asked.
"Very. You're beautiful. Those thighs and those boobs... Damn, baby, you got me turned on." he answered.
I giggled, giving my boyfriend a kiss. It turned hot way too soon.
"Brandon, stop... People will start looking and taking pictures." I mumbled into his mouth.
He was almost on top of me since the beach chairs that we sat on were very close to each other.
"I need you..." Brandon wouldn't stop kissing me. "I miss you... It's been so long since we did something..."
I had to admit, as much as I hated the way I looked and didn't want him to touch me, something about doing it right here and now made me horny.
"Wanna go to the car?" I smiled as his lips moved to my neck.
He didn't even hesitate before agreeing. We collected our things, and hurried to get back to our car.
~
I was so glad Brandon decided to take the SUV with the tinted windows today.
He collapsed on me, breathless.
"That was the craziest thing we've ever done." he said.
"Agreed." I laughed as I put my bathing suit back on.
"Where are you going? I ain't done with ya..."
"Yes you are. I need my beauty sleep, and my back hurts now." I yawned.
He noticed my mood change and smirked, "Okay, we'll go home. But I'm doing you in the shower."
I hid my smile when he helped me to the passenger seat and then got into the driver's side.
~
When we got home, Brooke wasn't there. We looked everywhere, but she was nowhere.
"I'll call her." I said, taking the phone.
Brandon snatched it away from me, "She probably went out to clear her head. Stop worrying about her, and let's go take a shower."
"She never leaves the house, Brandon. I have every reason to be worried."
"You can worry in thirty minutes. Right now, you're coming with me."
He lifted me up bridal style and took me to the shower, where he did me like he never did me before.
~
Brooklyn: "Are you sure you want to do this, Brooklyn? It's a huge step." my lawyer, Samantha, said.
I nodded, and she gave me the papers. I wrote down my autograph, then leaned back.
It was done. All she needed to do was send them to Michael.
"I'm sorry it ended so soon. You and Michael are a great couple."
Yeah, when he isn't cheating on me or making me feel like shit.
I gave Samantha a small smile, then thanked her.
We hugged, and I went back to my car. Right before I started it, I took off my rings. I shoved them deep inside my purse, making a mental note to give them back to Michael.
Who'd thought I'd sign divorce papers on our wedding anniversary?
But now he could be with Lisa Marie who's going to give him what he always wanted: a family.

Janet: I looked at Brooke, speechless. She just told me about planning to ask Michael for a divorce.
"Jan, get back to bed." she said.
"You'll break his heart." I told her, meaning it.
Michael loved my best friend, and even though he might've cheated on her, I knew he didn't intend to do it. She's everything to him.
"Then we'll be even, because he broke mine." Brooklyn whispered.
I stopped in my tracks, seeing her tears.
I shook my head and kept pacing. She can't do it, I won't let her.
I might understand her pain, but I've heard from mother how much Michael's been sad after Brooke found out about Lisa Marie Presley. She said he feels lonelier than ever.
"Is that why you've been disappearing when you said you have somewhere to go?" I asked, still not looking at my best friend.
She nodded, "I have papers and everything ready. My lawyer will send them after this baby girl is born. I don't want you in the middle of this whole thing when you're ready to burst. It's gonna be ugly."
No, it can't end like this. They have to stay together.
"You can't divorce him, Brooke. This is not how- You just can't." I breathed, feeling my heart race.
"Hey, Jan, you need to relax, okay? Take deep breaths."
I felt her arms around my shoulders when she tried to help me get to my bed, but I pushed her off.
"How can you tell me to relax when you're gonna divorce Michael?!" I screamed and threw my arms in the air.
"He doesn't love me anymore, Janet. There's no reason for this marriage to continue without his love." Brooke said, a bit too confidentiality.
Is she hearing herself?! He does love her. I know my brother, and no matter what, he'll love her.
"Yes he does, he could never stop. You can't do that to him."
Suddenly, I felt my entire body give in, and my powers were drained. All I wanted was to sleep.
Brooke dragged me into bed, and shut off the lights.
"Please, don't do this. For me." I begged.
She sighed, turning her back to me.
~
Michael: "Come in, Lisa." I said.
"What is so important that you can't tell me over the phone?" she asked, impatient.
After Brandon promised me he'd take me to see Brooklyn, I swore to myself to end things with Lisa. We kept talking after that day at Janet's party, because I felt bad.
This poor woman. She trusted me to stand by her, and now I'm going to break her heart. I know how much she likes me.
Brooke is more important than her. I barely know Lisa.
"Take a walk with me?"
Lisa took my offered hand, and I closed the door after us.
"I'm still sorry for what happened at your sister's party. I didn't mean for them to find out." she apologized.
"That was all on me. It was a family event, I shouldn't have brought you in the first place."
We walked quietly hand in hand for a few minutes, until I decided it was time to do it.
I sighed, "Lisa, I hate to do this, but... I might finally be able to work things out with Brooklyn. I think it's best if we stop talking, or seeing each other."
"But why?" her voice broke.
"She thinks I cheated on her, and if you're around, I won't be able to get her back. I have to do this, I need her." I told her.
"You don't, I can be so much better for you... Don't you think that? I'd make a much better wife than her... I'll be able to give you a child!"
I shook my head. "Brooklyn is the only one for me. I'm sorry. Just please, don't call me again. I'll make sure you have a ride home."
I let go of her hand, and slowly walked back to the house. I heard her sniffling before closing the door.
Once I was inside, I regretted even meeting Lisa. I wouldn't have had to break her heart, and Brooke would've been here already, forgiving me for everything I've done and said to her.

Michael: I sighed in relief while holding my wife.
I was so glad to be with her, and to know we were working on our relationship made me so happy. I've been doing everything and anything to make up for I've done.
What was I thinking when I was trying to replace her with Lisa Marie? She's nothing compared to Brooklyn.
"I probably should get back down. She has another session with Rose, since, you know, the baby's gonna be here soon..." she said.
"But this is so fun... I missed you."
"I missed you, too, Mike," she giggled. "But I promised I'd help her."
"Maybe I can come to keep you company..."
"I'm going."
Brooke placed a kiss on my cheek and left.
I sighed, thinking of how much I wanted her to go home with me tonight.
We got back together almost a month ago, but she still didn't want to come home, claiming she has to be there for Janet. I didn't know if to take this as an excuse or not.
I knew she was rebuilding her trust in me, but why didn't she want to come home?
Not to mention I missed her kisses. I couldn't go a day without dreading to feel her lips again. But every time I went in for a kiss, she would turn her face. I guess I deserved it after kissing another woman.
"Oh, I almost forgot," Brooke appeared back at the doorway. "Love you, Mike. And don't come down there, Jan will probably kill ya."
"I love you too, baby." I said.
She gave me one last smile before I heard her footsteps on the stairs.
