At the library, Y/n watched while petting Grim as Crowley went thru book after book but couldn't find anything on where the young woman stated her origins.

Crowley: "Just as I'd suspected. Nothing. Not only is your homeland not listed on any map from any point in history. Now, are you QUITE sure that you come from such a place? That wasn't some sort of lie, or jape?" He questioned before the young woman slowly formed a fire ball in front of his face.

Y/n: "Depends on your next words, sir. I wonder what fried crow tastes like?" She pondered while Grim and Crowley looked at her with wide eyes as well sweat dropped.

Crowley: "Because if so, the only explanation is that you've come from another planet. Or perhaps you were summoned here from another dimension?" He questioned completely disregarding the fact that he was threatened to be roasted alive when he accused the young in front of him, a liar.

Y/n: She groaned unhappily at Crowley's consent talking. "Again, All I have is my cellphone with me, and a few books."

Crowley: "Show me everything that you brought here with you." He said as Y/n placed everything she still had on her person onto a library table, her cellphone which now was a blank black cellphone case on it, a few manga books, and novels, but that was it minus the clothes on her back. "Do you have some form of identification, a driver's license perhaps? Or even a...shoe? You do seem a tad bit...empty-handed." He said before flinching a bit when Y/n flicker his forehead.

Y/n: "Nope, that's all of it. It seems my whole wallet didn't come with me." She said taking out a faux leather wallet from her back pocket to reveal it was completely empty. "See?" She questioned while putting her stuff back away.

Crowley: "Well, this is quite the predicament.
I cannot have someone with this high aptitude for magic bumbling about my magic academy. And yet, as an educator, I am loath to expel a young person without a cent to their name, or any ability to contact their guardian... Truly, my grace is boundless." He when on and on til he heard Y/n yawn tiredly at his long winded lecture.

Y/n: She blinked her tiredness away before looking up at Crowley. "So, where will Grim, and I be rooming? Because again, I don't think you want a lone girl rooming with a bunch of guys?" She questioned before placing Grim onto her shoulders as Crowley began thinking.

Crowley:  "Hmmmmm... Ah!" "There is a vacant building on this campus. It was, in fact, used as a dorm a long time ago. With a proper cleaning, it should be habitable enough. Out of the profound kindness of my heart, I will allow you to live there for the time being. But, in the meantime, we will investigate other ways to send you home." Dear me, but I am a gracious man indeed! A model educator, one might say." He said while escorting Y/n and Grim out of Night Raven College's main building and towards a new one just a walk away from the main seven statues. "Well then, I shall take you to your dorm straight away. It is an older building, but it has plenty of... character, one might say." He said while Y/n and Grim looked at the new place which would now be their home, Y/n glanced over at Crowley with a raised eyebrow.

Y/n: "Character, it's more ramshackle than anything." She as Crowley unlocked the dormitory housing for her and Grim.

Crowley: "Isn't it delightful? Right, scoot inside now. There you go." He said while shuffling the pair inside just as the rain started outside to show a messy lounge area, and gave Y/n the building's key. "This should keep the elements at bay for the time being. Now, I should return to my research. Do try to find some way to busy yourselves. But don't let me catch either of you wandering the campus, Ta!" He said before walking out of the dormitory.

Y/n: She set Grim down as the two looked around before the young woman sighed softly. "Okay, we're not living like this." She said before holding her right hand out as red, gold, lavender, pale red, purple, bright blue, and sickly green magic swirled around her open palm. "Time for a makeover that would make the three good fairies envious." She said while the magic she summoned was encased in f/c magic as her eyes glowed f/c as well.

Alone.... I've always been alone...
I do not need saving from the likes of you...
I have no need for heroes, knights, or princes...
I will be free to crave out my own destiny...

Y/n shouted out her own magic as filled the entire dormitory building completely and began cleaning, fixing, and decorating it all at once.

Y/n: She stretches out her arms and cracks her knuckles with a satisfying smile on her face. "That's much better." She said while Grim looked up at her in pure shock. "Come on, Grim. Let's see if there's anything that we can make to eat up." She said while she walked towards the direction where the kitchen would be and smiled. "It's not much, but it will do just fine." She said while she began looking through the cupboards and drawers, then the refrigerator to see everything was stocked up completely. "Whoa, my magic is crazy powerful." She said then began cooking enough for five people, five bowls of tomato soup, a grilled cheese for herself, and a tuna melt for Grim. "Here you go, Grim. Eat while it's hot." She said with a smile on her face, she hanged up her ceremony robe and rolled up her dress shirt sleeves before placing a singlet f/c apron onto her chair.

Grim: He drooled a bit at seeing his tuna melt sandwich and soup before snapping out of it. "Thank you, Y/n right?" He asked while he began eating his sandwich.

Y/n: "Yup, that's my name." She said while taking a bite out of her sandwich before looking above her head. "You three can come downstairs too, I made soup for the three of you especially if your group is going to haunt this place, I may as well be a good tenant." She said while Grim looked up at her confused.

Grim: "Uh, who are you talking to, Y/n?" He questioned as Y/n points behind him, so he looked over his shoulder to see three ghosts floating around him. "MROW!! GHOSTS!" He yelled out in fright and quickly hid behind Y/n shaking a bit.

Y/n: "Easy there, Grim. They're friendly, Hi I'm Y/n L/n, and you three are?" She asked while the ghosts floated over and looked at the bowls of creamy, healthy, and deliciously hot tomato soup perfect for a cold rainy night.

Ghosts: "I'm Spooky.", "I'm Chubby or Chubs.", "I'm Boneyard or Boney." The trio of ghosts introduced themselves before tucking into the soup their new residents had made.

Y/n: "Cool, and can I talk to you guys about something?" She asked before explaining that she didn't mind if the trio of ghosts stayed here in Ramshackle, only if they pulled pranks on trespassers inside the dorm who weren't herself, Grim, or anyone else she would become friends with. The ghosts agreed happily even told her to to call them her uncles, just as Crowley walked into the kitchen astonished.

Crowley: "What happened to the dormitory building, also I just remembered the ghost inhabitants he-...." He said before he stopped himself short seeing Y/n, Grim, and the ghosts eating grilled cheese, tuna melt, and tomato soup around a wooden kitchen island. "What in the great seven? How did this all happen?" He questioned as Y/n handed him a bowl of soup thus making him stop asking questions.

Y/n: "I used my magic obviously, why would anyone want to live in a slowly decaying building, and as for Spooky, Chubs, and Boney. I offered them a hot meal even ghosts can't resist my cooking.

Crowley: "Incredible... I've never seen anyone bend a monster to their will quite the way you have during your orientation, Y/n. I must confess, my educator's intuition did sense something about you. I could tell you had a certain animal trainer, beast master quality to you. Oh, yes. That said, I..." He started saying til Y/n pushed a piece of buttered bread into his mouth to quite him.

Y/n: "Here's the deal, Crowley. You know as does all the other new students and house wardens, have seen me preform feats of powerful magic." She said seriously before softly sipping a spoonful of tomato soup down her throat, then wiped her lips off of remaining soup. "So, I want to be a night raven college student and have Grim alongside me also as a student." She said while Grim looked up at her in pure shock as did Crowley. "I don’t mind doing little favors for you, and the college for an allowance for food, lady items, and incidentals." She said before holding her hand out towards Crowley. "Do we have a deal, sir?" She asked while smiling widely at Crowley's stunned face even though it was partly covered up.

Crowley: He shook his head before looking at the young woman, truly impressed with her skills be then magical, or not so. He took hold of her hand and shook it. "I will allow this special exception and allow you to remain on campus, also allow you use of the library, so that you may study, and research ways to return home.
How soundlessly charitable I am." He boasted while seeing his hand was glowing with f/c colored magic. "This young lady will surely surpass the great seven soon enough. I'll be keeping my eye on you, little one." He thought as Y/n released his hand to hold a key topped with a tiny mirror, and within the mirror's glass was a crow image.

Y/n: "Perfect, and don't worry sir, this key is just insurance if you try to get me to do anything to outlandish around here." She said with a smirk of her s/c face as her e/c eyes held mischievous gleam within them. "You may be, 'oh so gracious'. But I'm not foolish enough to have a back up plan." She said before pocketing the key. "Good night sir, and see you later." She said while Crowley left the dormitory and the ghosts began washing up the dishes, when Grim suddenly hugged her legs. "Oh, Grim? Are you okay, why are you crying?" She questioned before picking up Grim and holding him in her arms.

Grim: "You added me into your student listing, you didn't have to after everything I did earlier today." He said while Y/n laughed softly as she walked upstairs into the prefect's dormitory bedroom.

Y/n: "Of course, I'd never leave you behind, you little rascal plus you deserve to be here just like I do." She said while smiling down at Grim before leaving once he fell asleep outside. "Time for a little practice" She thought while her right arm covered in bright red flames, her left arm now encased in clear blue ice, her right leg wrapped in lush green thorn ridden vines, and her left leg shrouded in darkness sprinkled in stars. "This is going to be fun..." She thought before she began practicing for an hour then stopped sitting on the front porch entranceway while looking up at the stars. "I'm going to show these guys that good can be bad as well." She whispered softly to herself before heading off to bed for tomorrow morning was the first day of school.
