Cassandra told you of multiple futures involving Patton.  One where Ezekial spared Patton for what he would become and took him under his wing.. 

One where they beat Ezekial, butter Patton betrayed them all wanting to see what power he'd gain. If he could collect it all and ended up a bizarre beast. It seemed like Patton got all of his selfish desires only to become mad, feral, and taken by a mad Russian who planned to hunt him down.

Patton was the one hunting down the girls. He was forcing you to assist with the process. 

You saw someone putting on the costume with a cold look in his eyes.

He was unmasked in front of you, finally wounded. You demanded answers. 

Patton trapped in a void after making the right decision. Punished for trying to be better and going down the darker path.

One where Patton only stopped because the girls killed him. 

One where they needed to pin Patton for the crimes after he betrayed them and Ezekiel's body was lost. 

One where Patton chose responsibility after the girls died choosing to be a better person.

You had to work towards one. 

"She asked me." Patton admitted. It might have been that his destiny was connected to the other girls but the reason he was in the same place as one of them. 

Patton looked in awe, impressed by Ezekiel. Jealous even of the powers he had and thinking about what he did in the subway. 

Cassandra recalled treating the boy during one of her shifts. The EMT described him reluctant to visit a hospital. Anya described how Patton and his uncle moved into the apartment building nearby. Julia talked about encountering him. Martha Franklin recalled crashing into him.

"Great, the annoying sisters I never wanted."
