Chapter 5
*bangs head on table* I have so many ideas for new stories.... ugggghhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
As I mentioned in Deal With The Devil, no stories will be updated this Tuesday. I have to go to the college to give a speech that day, sorry... But I'll be back Wednesday though
I just wanted to let you fabulous peeps know so you're not freaking out. Those who have been here with me for a while know I update everyday. Again, please don't freak out when nothing gets updated Tuesday!! It's only for that day. Also working on a new story called Miles Away (A Youtuber Special). Also video chatting with AriaGrimesQoutev Septiplierish and Sans_Witch while writing this :') :')
Reminder that most of these places are made up in this story :)
Enjoy c:

I splash water on my face. We've been in this lab for eight hours talking about the endless possibilities of what might happen. Vinny was more focused on where Cry is and how we can meet up with him, especially since Ken is with him. I exhale loudly, drying my face off with paper towels.
Jack's fine Mark. I stare into the mirror.
I don't know Dark... He looks paler than usual. When we went on break, Jack was curled up in his chair sleeping. He looked as if he was in pain all day and now he looks a little paler than usual. It worries me.
Mark, you really are such a big worry-wart! I smile throwing the paper towels away.
Well, when you have friends who you've known for a long time, you would be just as worried.

The discussion lasted well through until the next day. Every single one of us was very tired, while Jack had slept through the whole thing. I sip on my coffee delicately as Jack stirs.
"Ow," He mutters rubbing his neck. "My neck is so sore." I'm smile a little not looking at him.
"Maybe you have a kink or something in your neck. From the way you were sleeping on the chair, I wouldn't be surprised." Felix and Vinny laugh.
"Ugh, I don't know what this weary feeling is but I absolutely hate it," Vinny says, her eyelids droop down. Felix smirks.
"You're exhausted, so you're sleepy. You're in the human world now Vinny, so you might as well get used to the human ways." She sighs.
"I wasn't tired in the game," Felix laughs.
"I'm sorry but that was a game. This is real life, might as well get used to it." I roll my eyes turning my attention back to Jack who looked better but still pale.
"How are you doing Jack?" He looks at me surprised.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you said you had a bad headache." Jack frowns.
"No, I never did say that," now was it was my turn to frown.
"Jack," Felix says slowly while everyone looks at him. "You said you had a headache, don't you remember? It was right before you went to sleep." Jack squints.
"No, I don't remember ever saying that I had a headache. I remember falling asleep, does that count?" He asks. We all shrug as Mr. Howell and Mr. Lester rush into the room.
"Guys, we have a major problem." Mr. Howell says breathlessly. He switches the television on.
"Breaking News!" The female with long black hair screams into the microphone. "There is an attack currently happening at the Asta's Cafe. Let's get straight on over to Zrya who is on the scene of the attack. Zyra?" A light brown haired woman shows up on the screen next. Her face full of panic.
"Dawn, we have no idea if this is- oh my god did you see that?" she screams. The video blurs as the cameraman spins around. We all watch in horror as a demon looking creature launches a huge fireball from his fingertips. The whole cafe turns bright orange as it bursts into flames. Windows shatter as another figure runs straight through the window, glaring at the news crew. "John... I think we need to go." Zyra screams as they both start to run away. We cringe as a bright light flashes at Zyra instantly vaporizes. The cameraman screams in terror as the screen suddenly goes black. Dawn, the anchorwoman, suddenly appears back on the screen. Her face completely pale.
"I'm sorry," she musters out. "We are having some technical difficulties, we will be right back." as the screen goes white. No one said a word. We were still staring at the television screen, trying to process what had just happened.
"Well," Jack finally whispers. "I hate to say this, but I think the game has officially started."
