Visiting Sam

*I don't own Transformers or anything affiliated with Transformers. I only own my original characters and plots. All rights go to Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg.*

My day at the base was more than eventful. After that situation I walked in on in the lab, I headed out to train for a little bit. Here at the base I had a special training outfit so I didn't have to train in my regular clothes. It was almost the equivalent to Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow costume in Iron Man 2 though it wasn't as difficult to put on. I thought it made me look pretty bad ass; I absolutely loved it.

I trained with my dad and Zimmerman for about an hour. My dad claimed that Baby Face needed some good training and insisted I be the one to give it to him. Baby Face was hesitant at first though. He was afraid that he would hurt me but was taken by surprise when he ended up on the ground after just ten seconds of fighting. His reaction had been hilarious to say the least. After that, I trained with Ironhide for the next two hours until I decided it was time for me to go and visit Samuel on his first day of work. That lead to where I was now.

Currently, I was sitting in my car. I had just left the base grounds and was no on my way to Accuretta Systems which was in downtown Washington DC. The sound of my phone ringing tore my focus away from the road for a split second. I quickly grabbed it from my bag and without looking at the caller ID, I put it up to my ear.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey girl," Adalyn's voice sounded.

I smiled widely. I hadn't heard from her in a few weeks. "Hey. What's up?"

She chuckled. "I'm just having fun in the Bahamas with Leo. How about you?"

"Wait. The Bahamas? With Leo? How come you didn't tell me? I thought you two were back at school," I whined.

She laughed. I was feeling particularly envious at the moment.

"You were so busy with work and stuff. I could never get ahold of you."

I frowned. "My apologies. But to answer your question, I just left the base and I'm now on my way to visit my big brother on his first day at a new job," I informed her.

"Sammy finally got a job?"

"Holy shit. No way," I heard Leo say in the background.

I laughed and nodded although they couldn't see me. "Yes. He works at Accuretta Systems in downtown DC. I have no clue what he does yet, but I'm about to find out."

"I'm so proud of him. He's moving up in the world," Adalyn chirped.

"Anyways, when are you two coming to visit me? I have two extra bedrooms that are screaming for occupants," I inquired.

"In a few weeks or so. We already have our bags packed," Adalyn informed me.

I smiled happily and pulled up in front of the Accuretta Systems building. "That sounds good. But listen, I have to go. I'm here and I don't need to waste anymore time," I chuckled.

"Okay. I'll talk to you soon. We love you!"

"I love you guys too," I said and hung up.

I placed my phone back into my bag and turned my car off. I truly hoped it was okay for me to park here, but even if it wasn't, it was going to be today. I placed my keys underneath my seat and got out of the car. Several eyes were on me as I walked into the building, but I paid no attention to them. Instead, I headed over to the front desk to speak with the secretary.

"Hi. I'm looking for a Samuel Witwicky," I said to the lady.

She smiled at me. "Just head up the escalator there and you'll come to a double glass door on your right. Go through them and he should be right there," she told me.

I smiled and thanked her before do as she said. This building was ridiculously beautiful; I was upset to say that it was even more extravagant than Dylan's building. It had a comfortable feeling to it and I loved it.

I pulled open one of the glass doors and headed inside. Just as the woman said, Sam was right there, about three desks away from the door. I smiled and walked over to him, grabbing a piece of licorice from the red cup on his desk.

"Hey loser," I greeted. He immediately looked up from his pile of papers to look at me, a smile now on his face. I leaned against his desk and finished eating my candy.

"Hey, Lea. What are you doing here?"

"I just thought I'd come see my big brother on his first day of work. By the way, this place is absolutely beautiful," I hummed.

He chuckled and looked back down at the papers. "Thank you. It means a lot to me."

I looked down at the many pieces of paper he had scattered across his desk and squinted my eyebrows in confusion. "What are you looking at?" I asked him quietly.

He sighed. "We're in trouble again. I don't know how to explain it," he whispered.

I saw a piece of paper with my name and Sam's name scribbled onto it and quickly picked it up, but before I could get a good read on it, Sam snatched it from my hands. He was now looking at a man who had a bunch of rolled papers tucked underneath his arm.

"Look what I found outside the bathroom. Is this yours?" he scolded. Sam nodded and stood up, taking the papers from the man's hands. "Deal with this," he commanded before walking away.

I scoffed.

"Come with me," Sam instructed as he grabbed my wrist.

"Another visitor violation," the man in the desk beside him mumbled.

I just rolled my eyes and walked with Sam to where ever he was headed. The two of us got onto an elevator and got off on the seventh floor. Sam pushed the cart off of the lift and parked it in a corner beside a yellow wall before pulling me with him towards a large white door with the name 'Jerry Wang' printed across the front. He pushed the door open and inside the room stood a man of Chinese-American descent. His attention shot to us as the door creaked open.

"I really think we should talk," Sam started.

The man seemed to be kind of spastic. "Whoa. Knock first. Can't you see I'm busy? Who are you?" he asked. His actions were very suspicious and Sam looked just as confused as I was.

"You straddled me in the stall. That's happened to me once in this life. I won't forget it. You took your package out, remember?"

The man immediately became defensive. "Whoa, whoa. We are not boyfriends, okay? One phone call from me and I'll have you fired. Oh, yes I will, gaylord," the man exclaimed. His eyes shot to me and they widened ever so slightly. "Holy shit. You're not supposed to be here," he whispered.

I just scrunched my eyes up in confusion and Sam closed the door for a split second before opening it again. The man, Jerry, was now sprawled out in his seat, a pained look on his face as he clutched the computer mouse in his hand.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

He nodded and pointed in between his legs. I raised a brow. "It's the hemorrhoid," he said.

"Oh."

"When should I come back?" Sam asked him.

"Come back when you learn some manners," Jerry spat.

Sam just sighed and shut the door before walking away. I stopped him before he could proceed further. "Who is that?" I whispered.

"Jerry Wang. He knows about the Decepticons, me, you, and everything else. He gave me these papers," he told me as he held the small stack of papers up to me.

"What does this mean then?"

"From the looks of it, it means we're screwed."

I groaned. And there went my sense of hope. The sound of a crash and a very loud car alarm from below startled me. I immediately ran over to the window to see what was going on and the sight below me almost made me want to vomit. I covered my mouth with my hand as I looked at the very disfigured body of Jerry Wang. Turning around, I ran back over to Sam who now held an uneasy expression as he registered what had just happened. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath while I rubbed his back. What in the hell was going on?

"Come on people. A workmate died, but looking out the window is not going to bring him back. Let's face it, the man was depressed. You can keep watching him, but he's not getting up. You all read Humpty Dumpty," a husky voice mused.

I focused my attention on a middle-aged man in a suit who was making his way over to Sam and I. His eyebrows were raised as he noticed my presence.

"And who might this one be? I believe I've already met your girlfriend. Is she your sister?" the man asked Sam.

He was still way too shaken up to speak so that left me to answer the man. "Yeah. Something like that. I'm Azalea Lennox," I introduced myself.

He smiled. "Ah. I'm Bruce Brazos. I remember looking at your resume. You seem to be a very lovely girl. But onto other things. Witwicky, I'm going to be spear-heading the press. You clean up; Wang is in the bistro, he's in the bamboo, he's on the balustrade. I'm not going to say anything about what I saw. Who you share a toilet stall with is totally your business," he whispered.

I raised a brow at his final sentence, but nobody got the chance to respond as the familiar sound of scraping metal filled the air. Two loud shots sounded and I watched as a man flew through the wall. It didn't take long for desks to start exploding. Sam quickly grabbed my wrist and pulled me underneath a desk. In front of us, a large mechanical bird flew towards us, shooting things in its path; this was no Autobot. My eyes widened and Sam pulled me back up.

"Holy shit!" I exclaimed as Sam and I ran through the rows of desks.

The mech continued to chase us, shooting through multiple obstacles to get to us. He pulled me down a set of stairs and inside what appeared to be the employee locker room. Sparks ignited from behind us, but we didn't dare look back. We rounded the corner and continued running until we came to an emergency exit door. Sam pushed through it without hesitating and pulled me through. I sighed in relief as the setting sun shone down on me.

"I'll be at your apartment as soon as possible," he told before storming off.

I scoffed at him before circling around to the front of the building. My limbs were still trembling as I approached my car. I immediately got in and fiddled beneath my seat for the keys. After grabbing them, I shoved my car key into the ignition and turned the car on. I wasted no time in taking off down the street towards my apartment, so many thoughts heavy on my mind at the moment. Just when I thought my life was back to normal, something just had to come in and ruin it.
