The Hilltop
Sun shone on the grass patch of untouched land
Left alone by man
Wildflowers of the spectrum decorated the green
Accompanied by a lingering silence slow dancing with wind
You could see the city from the top
The lives of the people going on about
Stories untold
Possibilities running on an infinite
Underneath the overgrowth left untamed
There's memories
Tears of stories let out
And stolen of their happy ending
Stripped of possibilities that could happen
Raspy screams,
Tainting Curses
Emotions that had enough
Eyes that were tired of crying
Hearts tired of caring
Jumps.
It wasn't just a pretty ledge overlooking a town
It was a death sentence
A choice made from the mentally pained
As the wind and silence dance in perfect motion
And the wildflowers sway slowly along
They witnessed the sorrow
And keep dancing and emitting beauty
Hoping they can change their minds
Before it's too late
