There was a girl
Who came out of nowhere
She seemed normal - her lips sealed shut by a key of silence
But once a boy walked by
It only took one look to steal her precious quiet
Her mind soon wired into a system
That couldn't be breached
Permanently she's attached
And she suddenly has a voice
She doesn't know her boundaries
As the virus corrupts further,
Taking away friendships yet she couldn't care enough
She talks obnoxiously in her new voice,
An annoying jingle accompanied every sugar-coated word
The new voice taking away her innocence just to feel a promising significant other
Boys soon clouded her mind
Priorities misaligned
Boys, boys boys she can't seem to live without
Boys, boys, boys that's what she's all about
The intensifying wanting to talk to them, touch them
To explore their boyishness
To see behind the shields they had put up
To dissect the opposite gender in hopes to fulfill her seemingly never ending supply of yearning
She forgot her friends, her grades
EVERYTHING.
Once the virus is complete, she's gone
No anti-virus could take it away
Nothing can take away the look of lust stamped onto her irises
The only way to reset is to leave
