Joanelle Ross believed in matter and science and nothing else. She believed that the Earth was made up of rocks and nothing celestial made the Earth. James Sirius Potter watched as the intelligent girl basically ignored the fact that there were other things in the universe other than science. James followed Joanelle throughout their whole lives making sure Joanelle never saw his magic until she was falling from the sky.
