Adrien decides to go on another witch hunt to lure the witch out of her lair while Marinette sneaks in to find every evidence the witches are planning on what they are gonna do with the captured children.

"That actress is so getting on my nerves these days. I so hate when she gets persuasive" Adrien getting frustrated with that Italian liar coming to Paris like she owns it.

He kicks the cottage door down to find a witch but then he moves when a bear trap almost catches him, "WHOA That was close!" He exclaims.

"Get the hell out of my lair!" The frog dart-skinned witch attacks him.

"I'll do it once I've dealt with you!" Adrien extends his claws.

"I don't get scared of beasts like you!" The witch held a dagger to try and kill him outside.

"Hit me, I dare you!" Adrien dared her.

"Your nine lives are so mine when you die in hell!" The witch tried to stab him with so much speed to slow him down.

Adrien jumps over her and strikes her with his tail, "Ha-ha! Watch the tail! It can totally slap you like a third hand!"

"Damn pussy cat!" The witch got back up.

"I'm beyond a pussy cat! MEOW!" He pounced and sank his claws into her neck to kill her. He pulled his claws out of her and threw the body aside. He yowled out loud in victory to let out his inner beast feel it.

With Marinette, she has put on her red dotted neckerchief to cover her face while sneaking. Her kitty manages to lure the witch out while she finds the dark magic spellbook as evidence to figure out why they want these children.

"Alright let's get started" She got what she came for and she hoped her kitty fought off and made it back alive. Her kitty can be a badass all the time since his anger always makes him strong enough to kill witches.

She heard a distant howl of a cat and guessed he had killed the witch in victory again, "That's his cue" She ran in his direction.

Once they meet up, Ladybug shows him the book. Only for him to hiss at it since he can sense dark energy in that book.

"Kitty relax!" Marinette pleaded.

"My inner beast doesn't like it at all!" Adrien said.

"But we need to know their master plan," Marinette said.

"Fine, fine. Let's calm down" Adrien breathes in and out.

"I know you hate witches and I do too. But to know what they are planning, we have to know their secrets" Marinette said.

"Right," Adrien opened the book.

"Not here! We need to get back to the city" Marinette said.

"Oh, right, sorry" He closed the book.

"Are you happy now that you get to kick ass to calm your nerves?" Marinette asked.

"Yes, I am," Adrien said.

"Good. Maybe next time you should pretend that witches are your mice to eat" Marinette walks with him.

"Purrhaps, I'm the apex predator around here," Adrien said.

"Yes, well, your feline family members are equally on top of the food chain with the rest of the canine family members," Marinette said before coming back to town.

"Oh yes," Adrien held her hand.

"You always tell yourself you're the cat's meow," Marinette said.

"And a legend" Adrien purred before making their way in the apartment.

Once inside they opened the book. It had ancient dark magic and the pages had some dark rituals to use children as sacrifices to create something evil for a price to pay in exchange.

"Look! Right there!" Adrien stopped at the page that consisted of a list of 12 birth-month sacrificial beings on the blood moon. But what they didn't notice is a circle of creation and destruction for the balance to work.

"Dear God!" Marinette gasps.

"They are making a ritual for all witch kind to never die by fire or anything. It would be like an endless witch apocalypse" Adrien said.

"Which explains why they need the children they captured," Marinette said.

"Yes and that Lila might be in league with them," Adrien said.

"So far there's 11 children they captured. They need another girl but the townspeople are not gonna listen" Adrien said.

"This is not good," Marinette said.

"I don't like this, Mari. What this is, it's a definition of madness" Adrien said.

"Yes, we can't let this happen," Marinette said.

"And we won't. They need two people of creation and destruction. Like a Yin and Yang" Adrien said.

"Hmmmm..... That I wonder who" Marinette said.

"I guess that's why the witches are after me because I'm bad luck. They haven't succeeded" Adrien slumps on the bed.

"Which means the good luck is next," Marinette said.

"There's always no luck on anyone's side," Adrien said.

"Unless that I wasn't affected by that witch's magic," Marinette said.

"You're too pure like a lady, Mari. You tamed me for years and sometimes you are like luck to me" Adrien said.

"Your lucky charm," Marinette said.

"And my bad luck to kick ass from anyone hurting my princess," Adrien said.

Marinette sat near him in bed, "Yes, my Prince" Marinette said.

"Well, whoever the child is born in August, we need to be prepared, milady. Wild cats are very vicious when it comes to protecting their town" Adrien said.

"Don't get me wrong but you attract far too much attention to be adorable" Marinette said.

"I can't help it, Princess" Adrien said.

"Just because kittens are too cute?" Marinette scratched his chin.

"Indeed" Adrien closed his eyes.

"And you don't get scared by dogs near you," Marinette said.

"Yes I know," Adrien said.

Cerise was getting impatient with Chloe to do her job to take down that cat protecting his lady.

"I just need the right moment," Chloe said.

"We are running out of time and the blood moon is in less than a week. Make sure it's done" Cerise said.

"Yes, of course. Maritrash will die first" Chloe said.

"Make sure you do it right away or you won't get what you want" Cerise manipulating her decision.

"Of course" Chloe nods.

"I want them alive," Cerise said.

"So be it," Chloe said.

"Do you want your position as mayor or not?" Cerise glared at her foolishness.

"Yes, and be the superior hunter," Chloe said.

Marinette and Adrien showed the spell page to Mayor Zoe of why the witches need these children.

"The sacrifice ritual on the blood moon, or in this case, the lunar eclipse," Marinette said.

"My god" Zoe was shocked.

"Yup. If they succeed, there would be nothing to kill a witch. It would become an apocalypse to do whatever they want. So far, they have 11 children and they need one more child" Adrien said.

"And we need birth records. Do you have them?" Marinette asked.

"Yes, I got them right here" Zoe brought the birth records from some years ago.

"Okay. We need all the birth records starting in August. We need a child born in August" Adrien said.

Zoe opens the record and checks through. There were a lot of teens and adults right now born in August but there was one child at age 5 known as Manon.

"Oh no. Manon is next!" Adrien saw her name.

"Oh great. Her? She's a wild one" Marinette said.

"Yes, but her life's at stake," Adrien said.

"She's a child and doesn't listen to grownups that well" Marinette once babysat her but Manon never listens to her mother or the babysitters.

"She's gonna have to listen, whether she likes it or not," Adrien said.

"I agree. The town is too focused on their lives than worrying what's coming" Zoe said.

"And to figure if Lila's part of it," Marinette said.

"Someone has to be the inside Which obviously I did but I can't control my rage," Adrien said.

"You have to, kitty. Unless you want me to be fish bait" Marinette said.

"No! I....agh....Okay. Fine. But only because I'm protecting you from ever getting influenced. You know how much I hate things getting very ugly" Adrien sighs in frustration.

"Good kitty" Marinette pets his cat ears.

"While I'm at it, find this kid before it happens," Adrien said while purring for emotional need.

"I will, don't worry," Marinette said.
