Preparation

"Today you'll be working on Ultimate Moves. Some of you already have a few, but if you want a leg up in the provisional exam you'll need as many as you can make." Class 2A's homeroom teacher spoke.

Quite a few of the teachers were here, including Ectoplasm, Eraserhead and Cementoss.

"You'll be using this facility to create and refine them, which can be moulded to your needs by Cementoss. Should you require an opponent or helping hand, Ectoplasm can aid you with his clones. Now, get to it!"

Izuku, Mirio, Tamaki and Nejire immediately grouped up.

"So what's everyone working on?" Mirio asked as they walked into a small isolated area.

"I wanna work on improving my rapid fire with bigger blasts!" Nejire said.

"I want to refine my Chimera mode.." Tamaki mumbled.

"I'm going to be creating an entirely new move!" Mirio told them.

"I'm going to be repurposing an old move. And maybe refining Dark Cloak. It's almost perfect, but it could use a few improvements." Izuku said.

"Alright! Tamaki, you have the open space over there. Nejire, those concrete pillars should be what you need! I'll just be over here, trying to time an impermeable punch with the wall! Izuku, you take the middle of this section." Mirio said.

"I'm going to ask Cementoss for some targets." Izuku said, waving to the hero.

Five minutes later and Izuku was standing before a cement pillar, concentrating on his hand. More specifically, the solid smoke gauntlet on his arm.

He held his hand out flat, letting the smoke reform around it, flattening and lengthening outwards.

  Monomolecular blade mark 2!

Izuku swung his arm at the target, cleaving it in two with no resistance at all. Thanks to his training, his Monomolecular blade was truly monomolecular, and far sturdier than the original. He could still use it at range if needed like during the exam, but he would mainly be using it to clear rubble

The blade was tapered like a real sword blade so that his entire hand was encased in smoke, both perfectly protected and capable of offence. It also incorporated well into Dark Cloak, which he would be using the rest of the two weeks training to improve.

Izuku formed a second Monomolecular Gauntlet onto his left hand, swiping wildly at the concrete pillar, cutting it into tiny chunks from the top down.

He turned and grinned at his friends, who had turned to look at the flurry of movement.

"Whelp, I'm done! Time to work on my second Ultimate Move of the day!"

"Oh, do that's how it is huh? Alright Izuku, you're on!" Mirio exclaimed, turning back to the wall and punching it, yelling an 'OW!!' seconds later.

Izuku spent the rest of the day messing around with Dark Cloak, testing what he could do with it, just how far he could push smoke.

The next two weeks passed by in a blur, the quadrio creating and mastering new Ultimate Moves every few days.

Similarly to the training camp, they showcased their new and improved moves at the end of the two weeks.

"Blinder Touch Eyeball Crush!" Mirio shouted, punching through Izuku's face.

The younger boy had agreed to be Mirio's test dummy, but only after he promised not to mess the move up on purpose.

Mirio showcased all 10 of his Ultimate Moves he'd created and practiced with in the one and a half years he'd been training at UA.

Nejire only had a few moves, but they were all versatile and useful in different situations.

Tamaki's entire quirk was an Ultimate Move in itself, he showed them off attacking an Ectoplasm clone.

Finally, as the unofficial member of class 2A, Izuku showed his own moves.

Smoke Bomb, Dark Shield, Wall, Monomolecular Blade, Monomolecular Gauntlet, Smokescreen, Dark Whirlwind, Dark Cloak, Smoke Construct, Dark Tether, Dark Choke, Detroit Shield and Dark Smash.

Most were pretty self explanatory. Dark Shield was just a smaller, sturdier Wall, Dark Tether was basically an imitation of Tamaki's tentacles, Dark Smash was a super punch created by empowering his blows with fast moving smoke.

Detroit Shield was Izuku's strongest defence. Theoretically, it could stand up to a Detroit Smash head on, one of All Might's strongest moves. In practice it was just 12 Dark Shields layered over one another.

It would do it's job. Hopefully. It could take a 100 percent Nejire wave head on, and thwarted Tamaki's attempts to break through it even after that fact. The entirety of class 2A had launched their powers and even a few Ultimate Moves at it, and barely got through the third layer.

"Man that's a tough shield!" Nejire exclaimed as they walked to the changing rooms.

"I don't know about a Detroit Smash, but even the top 10 minus All Might working together would struggle with that!" Mirio said.

Izuku just smiled, scratching the back of his neck bashfully.

"By the way!" Mirio said. "I have Phantom Menace, and Izuku has Dark Choke. You two need to come up with a Star Wars themed Ultimate Move too!"

Tamaki chuckled quietly, while Nejire laughed out loud.

"We should totally do that!" She said.

"We should have a refresher on the films too!" Mirio wheedled.

"We can do a movie night, but we're not watching Star Wars again." Izuku said flatly.

"What do you think we should watch then?" The blonde asked.

"Well, there's this new All Might-"

"No." The other three said simultaneously.

"How about Jaws 25?" Tamaki asked.

"You only like that film because the hero has tentacle powers like you!" Izuku said.

"How about a Pixar film!" Nejire exclaimed.

  "Which one?" Mirio asked suspiciously.

"Wall-E. It's my favourite." She said.

"You say that about all of the old Pixar titles!" Mirio argued.

"But you haven't seen Wall-E yet! It's definitely the best one!"

"I don't mind watching it." Izuku said.

Mirio gave him a disappointed look.

"What? It's new, it's not Star Wars Episode 41, or Jaws 88, or All Might Adventures 172.." he ground out, still miffed about that. "It's the best option we've got. Besides, most of the Pixar films are actually pretty good." He defended. Tamaki nodded along in agreement.

"You just want to watch Star Wars Episode 0.1, the Ghostly Problem." Tamaki said.

"Darth Choplimb is the best villain!" Mirio defended.

"It's a spoof!" Izuku yelled, exasperated.

  "It's canon!!" Mirio countered.
