hi everyone!

i don't know if anyone really cares, but i've decided to compile a list of all of my current reads.

i've seen a few other wattpaders do this, and i think it's kind of cool.

current wattpad reads

1. jawbreaker (the amazing spider-man) by stxrmborn

this book is my most recent read, and i'm so in love with the plot and the main character! if you haven't read any of this author's work before, i highly recommend you do!

this story follows sloane, who is an alcoholic journalist sent back to her native new york city to investigate a string of gruesome murders. it's so well written, and sloane is such a dynamic character.

2. sucker (twilight) by stxrmborn

this book is by the same author that wrote JAWBREAKER, and it's so good!

it follows sage, who is new to forks, washington, as her monster hunter father tries to locate vampires. she ends up befriending edward cullen, who was recently dumped by bella, and i'm not going to say anymore because i don't want to spoil it.

if you're a fan of twilight, you should definitely go check it out. i especially love the 2000s nostalgia, like the references to sage's ipod nano. (i had one back in the day, it was orange, and i thought i was so cool.)

3. ablocate (criminal minds) by cardiiac

i'm not normally a huge criminal minds fan, but i stumbled upon this fanfic and i was sucked in!

the story is about cara valentine, a woman who has connections to a dangerous criminal organization. she falls in with the BAU ... and chaos ensues.

i would definitely recommend this to anyone remotely interested in criminal minds. if you're like me, a casual fan of the show, you can easily follow along without having to know too much about the show and characters.

4. american noise (captain america) by amep057

i started reading this book so long ago, and it hasn't been updated since 2018 (!!) but i'm still holding out hope for an update. i keep it in my library just in case.

it's so well written, with so much description and dynamic, engaging characters that you love to love. it ended on a cliffhanger, and i'm patiently waiting for it to update, though i acknowledge it might never be updated. the last big update did come after a super long hiatus, so maybe the author is still planning something -- you never know.

even though it hasn't been updated in so long, i still recommend reading it. i think the current read time is around 4 hours. you'll still get your time's worth, i promise!


5. deathless saints (matt murdock) by persephonegirls

so this book only has a few introductory things published, but the intro was so well-written and i can't wait to read more! i haven't read any matt murdock fics, so i'm really excited. 

current non-wattpad reads

umm, to be totally honest, i'm not reading anything off of wattpad at the moment. the only time i really do much reading is when i have to read for school, and i don't count textbooks. hopefully after graduation i'll have a lot more time for reading.
