A little light

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN, THE CHARM IS GONE?" Katelyn let out a cry of surprise. Her face was a shade of purple from screaming.

"I mean, when I woke up, the charm was no longer on the cord. End of story."

"WELL HOW ELSE ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GO HOME?!?"

"I... have no idea. But I know who might."

I knocked on the oak door in front of me, trying my very best to arrange a calm look on my face. I achieved this just as the door creaked open, and a pale face with blond hair and black glasses poked out.

"Aphmau! It's so good to see you! Come in, Come in!" Emmalyn smiled. "Aaron said that you needed help finding a book on something? He was very vague though. What is it?" I followed her into her library, waving hi to Kenmur along the way. It was a weird feeling. They were so different, but exactly the same.

"Oh... wow. That's a lot of books." I mused, the books spinning around my head.

"Yeah! I know, right!" Emmalyn squealed. Her face was super excited as she lead me over to a table in a corner with a crystal teapot on it. She poured us both a cup, and beckoned me over to a seat. I took the seat, and took a sip of the tea.

"Ooh! This is really good!" I smiled.

"I know right! Kenmur brought it back from his travels abroad, and I'm just enchanted with it! Anyways... what did you say you wanted a book in?"

"What would you say if I told you I needed a book on interdimensional travel?"
