Time took a speedy turn in my life as he went away. It's been ten years since I last saw him. I still remember his smile, the way he used to console and motivate me and every little thing about him.
It did take a good load of time for me to come out of my delusion and accept that he really wasn't alive anymore.
With these thoughts in my mind, I steadily made my way towards the crematory. A smile spread on my face when I saw him, resting in peace.
Removing the dust and dried leaves from his grave, I slowly placed the bouquet of pink roses there, warm tears automatically made their way in my eyes when I saw his name.
Kim Taehyung
30 December, 1995 - 7th February, 2013
"Are you happy up there?" I talked gazing at his picture.
"You know I finally got the courage to fulfill my mother's wish- I disappeared from her life, for good." I spoke caressing his bracelet still placed on my wrist.
"My scars, they are healed. Maybe now I can live a normal life." I bit my lips speaking further.
"And as you said once, I did become a successful writer. Thankyou for… being with me, Taehyung. I hope you're watching me somewhere from up there. You must've become an angel right?" I sniffed sobbing continuously, no matter how much I tried to smile and appear a little happy, but life without him was incomplete and the success… it felt hollow, a part of my happiness disappeared along with him.
