May's  P.O.V

Dear Diary,
It doesn't feel right watching Max pick his bag up and trudge to school alone. I would always be there for him. There to make sure he's safe... there to make sure he isn't bullied... there to be his sister... there to love him...

I must keep that alive even though I am not. I will follow. I will make sure he is safe. I will make sure he isn't bullied. I can't be his sister yet but I can still love him and just be there for him.

And while I am in this half world I will pour my stinking heart into this diary. I must give them something to remember that I will keep fighting. That I will never ever give up!

If it all goes to pieces... you can't jolly well say I didn't try.
