Taehyung stretched after he finished writing the rest of Jungkook's letter and postcard. This time he was sure to include more pictures of him in the envelope as he smiled softly to himself. He didn't want to admit it, but Jungkook had the cutest voice when he spoke. Taehyung couldn't help but tease him when he could already see the cute pout Jungkook exhibited for most of their conversation.

Taehyung made sure to include the address of the next hotel that he would be located as well and sealed the envelope. He kissed the little sparkly purple heart sticker that he attached to the flap and wrote on the back of the envelope:

𝓘 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓴𝓲𝓼𝓼𝓮𝓭 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓹𝓾𝓻𝓹𝓵𝓮 𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓽. 𝓞𝓷𝓬𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓽𝓸𝓾𝓬𝓱 𝓲𝓽, 𝓘 𝓱𝓪𝓿𝓮 𝓴𝓲𝓼𝓼𝓮𝓭 𝔂𝓸𝓾~♡

Taehyung then sprayed the envelope with his favorite scented cologne so that Jungkook may know what scent he wore. He scooped up the thick and heavy envelope before leaving his hotel room with all of his luggage in tow. He was glad that he'd finished the letter to Jungkook before check out as he headed towards the elevator. He could mail it off before he set out on his way to the airport. He was hoping that he'd land within his next destination before Jungkook called him tonight.

After he checked out, Taehyung walked out of the hotel with his luggage in tow and called for a shuttle. Once he was settled into the shuttle with his luggage, he asked if the person could make a quick pit stop at the post office before taking him fully towards the airport. He was lucky to have such a kind-hearted person driving this shuttle because he did make that pit stop as requested, even though he wasn't supposed to stop anywhere other than the airport. Taehyung made sure to make his trip quick inside the post office but managed to mail Jungkook's letter off first class before being shuttled off to the airport.

He quickly checked his luggage and headed towards the appropriate terminal and gate where he'd be boarding his flight. He waited for the allotted time for take-off, wondering why he'd booked a flight for the middle of the day anyway. It didn't give him much time to go sightseeing before leaving this state. Next time, he promised himself that he'd get a later flight so that he had more time to meander about and take pictures. Once boarded, Taehyung took his seat and pulled his little neck brace pillow out of his carry on bag. He tucked the pillow around his neck and leaned back onto it, waiting for them to actually take off from the airport.

Jungkook sat in his office chair, swiveling back and forth in boredom as his mind wandered over more impure thoughts after his conversation with Taehyung. He didn't sleep that well last night because every time he closed his eyes he could just picture Taehyung pleasing himself with his picture in front of him. Taehyung really shouldn't have admitted that to him because now he was having an even harder time concentrating on work. He didn't care about this boring and mundane office job. What he really wanted was to be straddling Taehyung's waist and riding him.

Jungkook's eyes snapped open at that thought as he stopped those thoughts dead in their tracks. "No, no, no, not here. Nope, we can't think like that here," Jungkook scolded himself, turning towards his desk and pulling his legs underneath the keyboard when his cubicle partner approached him. "What are you doing?" She asked, peeking over Jungkook's shoulder and being nosy.

Jungkook glanced at her from over his shoulder, refusing to move out from under his desk until he had calmed down. Although that wasn't going to be a problem with her present. There was something about her that was so off-putting that he found it quite difficult to sustain an erection. After a couple of moments, he turned towards her with a deep sigh. "I wasn't really doing anything," Jungkook answered resting his chin in the palm of his hands and his elbows on his knees. "I can't really concentrate on my work," Jungkook responded in a flat voice, his boredom evident.

She smiled at him in a way that didn't sit right with Jungkook as she approached his chair. "Well, why not take your lunch now then? We could go get something at the corner cafe together," she suggested, hoping that he'd agree. Jungkook shrugged with indifference, not realizing her true intentions as he stood up. "Sure, why not," Jungkook agreed as she looped her arm around his own. She pressed her chest against Jungkook's arm as she practically dragged him to the cafe with her.

At the cafe, she still hadn't let go of Jungkook's arm and he was starting to feel uncomfortable. He had tried to wriggle his arm free, but she only clung tighter to him as he laughed nervously. The cashier and everyone else behind the counter thought that she was his girlfriend and that only made him even more uncomfortable, especially when she told them that Jungkook was her boyfriend. Anytime he would try to speak up, she'd cut him off by talking loudly over him.

When they sat down with their food and coffee, Jungkook stared at her sternly. "You know damn well what you were doing. Why'd you tell them that?" Jungkook asked in annoyance, crossing his arms over his chest and one leg over the other. She gave him a pleading look, leaning across the table to place her hand on his crossed arms. "Look, Jungkook. I just need you to agree for the next few weeks and I'll leave you alone, okay? Some guy has been hassling me for my number and I... may or may not have told him I have a boyfriend. He just needs to catch me out and about with you and then we never have to speak of this again," she explained as Jungkook sighed in defeat.

"You promise it'll only be for a little?" Jungkook asked, his expression softening at her distress. She nodded her head vigorously, a wide smile on her face as Jungkook finally uncrossed his arms. "Fine. I'll be your pretend boyfriend for a little while," Jungkook responded, taking a bite of his sandwich. She clapped her hands together excitedly as she leaned over and kissed Jungkook's cheek. "Gotta make it believable," she stated, smiling as if she'd won the lottery.

"Now, I know your name, but did you ever bother to memorize mine?" She asked as Jungkook swallowed his sandwich down hard. Now that he thought about it, he never really did bother to try and remember her name. He laughed nervously as he shook his head, swallowing his embarrassment before taking another bite of his sandwich. She sighed with exasperation and rolled her eyes in irritation. "Figured," she grumbled bitterly, huffing as she rested her chin in her palm. "It's Hyemin," she added, hoping that he'd remember it this time. "As my boyfriend, you should try to remember my name," she declared, following suit of Jungkook and taking a bite of her cobb salad.

Jungkook was finished with his sandwich before she was even halfway through her salad as he waited patiently for her. Boy, Taehyung sure wasn't going to be happy hearing about this... Jungkook thought to himself, sure of that fact as he watched her eat. Jungkook himself wasn't really happy about this either, but it was only for a little while and they were only pretending. At least he was only pretending.

When Hyemin was finished with her salad, they both stood up to head back towards the office. Once again, Hyemin hooked her arms around Jungkook's own as she laid her head on Jungkook's firm shoulder. She looked up at him with a look of adoration and Jungkook tilted his head. "A- are you sure you're only pretending?" Jungkook asked nervously, afraid he'd agreed to something that she felt was more serious. She smiled up at him, wrapping one of her hands around the back of his neck and pulling into a kiss that she planted directly on his lips.

His eyes widened in shock as she withdrew, giggling at his expression. "I'm sure I'm only pretending," she lied, hoping that Jungkook would eventually end up liking her. She thought he was an easy target since he'd grown so attached to Taehyung that rapidly. She figured that he was probably either a virgin or extremely lonely. Either way, she wasn't going to be lonely anymore with Jungkook by her side.

The moment they were back at work, Jungkook excused himself and rushed off to the bathroom. He dashed into one of the stalls, throwing up everything that he'd just eaten, disgusted by that kiss from her. He didn't think she'd be kissing him on his mouth when he'd first agreed to this and he hoped that was the only time. Still in the midst of vomiting, someone walked into the bathroom to see Jungkook hunched over the toilet, emitting the contents of his stomach. Afraid that Jungkook may be contagious, they informed management, and Jungkook was blessed to be sent home early.

Jungkook reclined in his bathtub, bubbles surrounding him up to his chin as he relaxed further into the scalding hot water. He preferred his baths hot to the point that it stung when he first got in because then he could relax longer without worrying if the water will turn cold. He played with the bubbles, thinking about the turn of events that this day had taken. He wondered if Hyemin would have made things awkward for him once they were back at their cubicles or kept it professional while at work? He didn't know the answer, but he was glad to have been sent home early so that he could have time to think. He wondered if his agreeing to her plea was in his best interest or not?

He sighed softly as he scooped the bubbles closer to his chest and then dispersed them. He was thoroughly enjoying his bath when his phone rang loudly in the next room, Jungkook jumping out of his tub and wrapping a towel around his waist. Thinking that it could be Taehyung, he bolted for his phone and answered without looking at the caller id. "Kookie," he heard the excited voice of Jimin echo through the speaker and disappointment settled in his stomach. He couldn't even hide his disappointment as he answered Jimin. "Minnie," he responded dejectedly, a long sigh escaping his lips.

"Wow, way to greet your friend there, Jungkook," Jimin stated, expressing his own disappointment. "Disappointed that it isn't your girlfriend," Jimin teased as Jungkook rolled his eyes. "I was just calling because I heard you and Hyemin have started dating," Jimin exclaimed excitedly and Jungkook felt as if a rock dropped into the pit of his stomach now. "S- She said it was just pretending and only for a little while," Jungkook defended, suddenly indignant that more people had heard about it. "Plus, I wasn't waiting for her to call," Jungkook added, clarifying his situation. "I was taking a bath and utterly disappointed that I had to get out to answer my phone," Jungkook lied, knowing full well it was because he thought it was Taehyung.

Jungkook walked back over towards his bathroom, placing his towel over the rack, and stepped back into his hot bath water. "Well, I'm back in the tub so I'm going to go ahead and let you go, Minnie," Jungkook stated, hanging up before Jimin could even respond. He sunk deeper into the bubbles, his feelings now hurt since Taehyung hadn't called yet. He was just about to give up completely on Taehyung calling that night and head straight to bed after he got out of the bath, that was until his phone rang again. He sighed softly and grabbed it off the counter, pressing the accept button without looking at the caller id yet again. "Hello?" Jungkook answered, dejection still laced deep in his voice.

"What a warm welcome," he heard Taehyung's deep voice tease. "And here I was, thinking you actually wanted to hear from me," Taehyung continued to tease further. "Guess I should just hang up--" Taehyung was about to joke until he was interrupted. "No! No, please don't hang up," Jungkook pleaded, sounding rather sad than laughing at Taehyung's jokes. Taehyung smiled warmly, even though Jungkook couldn't see him. "It was a joke, Kookie. I wouldn't dream of it," Taehyung confessed softly, nodding even though Jungkook still couldn't see him. "I wish I could rub your head to soothe you because I didn't mean for my jokes to be taken so seriously. I'm sorry," Taehyung apologized as Jungkook let out a small sound of disbelief. "Oh, no, you don't have to apologize! I- I overreacted to your joke... Sorry," Jungkook mumbled softly as Taehyung chuckled. "We should video call one day so there are no more misunderstandings between us," Taehyung suggested as Jungkook swallowed hard. Jungkook wondered if he should suggest a video call now, but given his current state, he wondered if that would even be a good idea.
