After Taehyung had gotten the rest he needed to proceed with his travels, he decided to take Jungkook to another amusement park. This one famous for having the most thrill rides in a single park. Although Jungkook only knew that they would be visiting Cedar Point, Jungkook wasn't aware that it was an amusement park that was a thrill seekers' dream. That was until Jungkook could see the towering yellow and green metal peak of a mountainous ride. Jungkook hesitantly peeked over at Taehyung, his hand tightening around Taehyung's as the elder finally acknowledged Jungkook's unease. "Don't worry, we'll be fine," Taehyung encouraged softly, squeezing Jungkook's hand back and leading him inside the gate once their tickets had been checked.

Jungkook picked up one of the park maps for a guide, glancing over it as Taehyung peeked over Jungkook's shoulder to view it too. "Which rollercoaster do you want to ride first?" Taehyung asked as Jungkook pointed to a blue one off in the corner of the map. "The Millennium Force," Jungkook announced confidently, hoping he picked one of the smaller rides first. Glancing around the park, all of the rides appeared intimidating to Jungkook- especially the Top Thrill Dragster. They had passed by that one right as it had launched the riders up that death-defying 90-degree angle, the screen nearby calculating the launch at 122 miles per hour. Jungkook felt his stomach drop just watching that ride, Jungkook's fingers tightening around Taehyung's hand as Taehyung offered an encouraging smile. "Don't be afraid, love. I'm here with you," Taehyung announced happily, pulling Jungkook closer to him and placing a chaste kiss upon his temple. "I'll hold your hand on the rides too if you want," Taehyung whispered tenderly in Jungkook's ear, offering his assistance to ensure the younger didn't have an anxiety attack.

Jungkook nodded softly at Taehyung's words, leaning his head against Taehyung's shoulder as they approached the Millennium Force. To Jungkook's relief, there was an hour wait that allowed Jungkook some time to mentally prepare himself. He snuggled into Taehyung's arm, burying his face in Taehyung's chest for comfort as Taehyung tenderly brushed his fingers through Jungkook's hair. Taehyung would do anything to help ease Jungkook's anxiety because he knew Jungkook would have fun once they were on it. Jungkook remained snuggled in Taehyung's arms until the moment it was their turn to ride it, sighing softly with relief as they approached the turnstile. They informed the ride operator that there would only be two of them riding and the operator pointed them to the first row.

Jungkook's anxiety immediately leaped into his throat as he nodded at the ride operator and hesitantly approached the first turnstile. Jungkook could see the massive 275-foot incline from where they stood, his breathing intensifying as he stared up at that incline. Taehyung wrapped his arms firmly around Jungkook and snuggled his chin onto Jungkook's shoulder with a loving sigh. "I'm right beside you, love. I promise I won't let go of your hand," Taehyung encouraged lovingly as they stepped out onto the loading platform. Jungkook valiantly stepped over to sit down as did Taehyung, Jungkook's hand clasped tightly in Taehyung's own.

Once the staff made sure everyone was secured in their seats, they launched the ride. Once they started the incline towards the rest of the ride, Jungkook realized just how ridiculous his fear had been. Jungkook threw his hands up along with Taehyung's that he was still holding and smiled wide as the wind whipped through his hair. Again, Jungkook had never felt so free yet safe at the same time. When the ride was over, Jungkook exited the unload area with a tremendous smile as he bounced on the balls of his feet. "Should we ride it again? Should we? Should we? Should we?" Jungkook inquired with excitement, grabbing both of Taehyung's hands as he bounced. Taehyung couldn't help but laugh at how adorable Jungkook's excitement persisted as they walked back towards the entrance of the ride. "How about we give the other rides a chance before we come back to this one?" Taehyung encouraged softly, ruffling Jungkook's hair tenderly.

Jungkook pouted slightly at the statement but then nodded his head in agreement. "Okay! Then can we try the Valravn next?" Jungkook implored excitedly, swinging Taehyung's hand now as they walked along. From that moment forth, they rode the Valravn, the Wicked Twister, Steel Vengeance, Maverick, Magnum XL 200, Rougarou, Gatekeeper, Raptor, Iron Dragon, and the Top Thrill Dragster before Taehyung had had enough of the thrill rides. Although he could tell that Jungkook was having so much fun now as he decided he'd tough it out until Jungkook mentioned being hungry. Taehyung inwardly sighed with relief as he nodded his head in approval. "Yeah, I was about to ask if you were getting hungry," Taehyung fibbed slightly, not wanting to admit to Jungkook that he was glad they would be taking a break from the roller coasters. "What do you want to eat?" Taehyung asked softly, opening the park map for them to browse over their options.

Ultimately, they both decided on TOMO sushi and hibachi outside the park for lunch before they'd explore the beach behind the theme park a bit. They walked there hand in hand with their fingers intertwined as they exited the main part of the park, Taehyung holding onto their tickets so that they could reenter later. Jungkook happily swung their hands forward and back, feeling a sense of euphoria from the day's events as he laid his head on Taehyung's shoulder. "You're the best boyfriend anyone could ever ask for," Jungkook whispered sheepishly, smiling as they approached the restaurant they'd be dining at. Taehyung flushed at Jungkook's words, smiling as he held the door open for Jungkook before surprising the younger with a kiss. "You're the best boyfriend," Taehyung countered as Jungkook flushed bright red and scurried into the building hastily. Although Jungkook was embarrassed, he also found it endearing when Taehyung would say things like that.

They quickly took their seats that they were navigated towards, Taehyung pulling Jungkook's chair out for him and pushing him towards the table. Jungkook felt shy about the way Taehyung was treating him while many women of varying ages watched on in jealousy. Jungkook had to ignore them or he'd be too embarrassed to lift his eyes from the table and he couldn't do that to Taehyung. He didn't want to appear as though he were ignoring the elder so he hesitantly lifted his eyes from the table and plastered a timid smile on his face. "While you may think that, you always do things like this that really makes you the best," Jungkook retorted slyly, folding his arms across his chest to rest his case. Taehyung couldn't help but laugh at the smug smirk that splayed itself across Jungkook's face as if he were proud of his comment. Taehyung clasped Jungkook's hand across the table with a gentle smile before leaning forward and planting a chaste kiss upon Jungkook's lips as their waiter came to take their order.

Jungkook and Taehyung enjoyed multiple sushi options as well as their hibachi meals, wanting to try a variety of things. Although Jungkook complained he was so full he couldn't take another bite and then proceeded to eat more, leaving Taehyung stunned. Once Taehyung was full, there was no more eating for him until dinner time but he watched as Jungkook continued to happily enjoy his meal. Taehyung watched Jungkook with great interest, resting his chin in the palm of his hand and his elbow on his knee as his eyes remained on the younger until there was nothing left. Taehyung was honestly impressed with Jungkook's appetite but figured he'd need it if they were going to the beach next anyway.

After they paid for their meal and returned to the park, Jungkook was back to the giddy little boy he had been after first riding the Millennium Force. Although Jungkook was well aware they were headed for the beach right now, he was still excited that Taehyung had agreed to ride some of the rides with him again. Jungkook didn't want to ride the rides by himself because then he might be anxious again and Taehyung was well aware of that without Jungkook having to inform him.

Jungkook hastily took his shoes off as they stepped out onto the sandy exit near the Wicked Twister, enjoying the sand between his toes. He wiggled his toes playfully in the sand as he waited for Taehyung to remove his shoes too. Once the elder had his shoes off, Jungkook hastily intertwined their fingers once more and walked alongside Taehyung on the beach. Jungkook glanced over at the horizon, watching the sun slowly sink over the lapping waves of the ocean- the briny blue reflecting the fiery orange of the sun. It cast the entirety of the ocean's surface in a delicate orange that would break whenever a wave would pass through, mesmerizing Jungkook as Taehyung watched beside him. They'd stopped along the wet sand to admire the magnificence of the ocean ablaze from the sun setting. It was a breathtaking sight as Taehyung pulled his hand from Jungkook's own and wrapped it around the younger's slim waist.

"We've had a lovely day together, wouldn't you say so?" Taehyung asked softly, the waves beating against the shore almost drowning him out. Jungkook glanced over at Taehyung with a soft smile as he nodded his head, his eyes reflecting nothing but Taehyung. "I think it's been an amazing day. I can't wait to spend more days with you like this," Jungkook declared boldly, staring up at Taehyung as Taehyung turned to meet his intense gaze. "I look forward to spending many days like this with you too," Taehyung confirmed pleasantly, his expression reflected at him through Jungkook's eyes. Taehyung smiled tenderly and lovingly as he gently caressed Jungkook's cheek. "I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity than my mishap with your address," Taehyung added softly, giggling at his own happy mistake. In his eyes, it was no longer a mistake. Destiny had decided for them that day because what else would have explained Jungkook's decision to continue contacting him. You can like a stranger's appearance, but proceeding to converse with a stranger is something else entirely and Taehyung was beyond grateful that Jungkook had made that decision. He hadn't admitted it to Jungkook at all but it had hurt his feelings when Jungkook had wanted him to quit writing him. Mainly because it had given Taehyung a reason to get out and take those pictures and explore to show someone else, rather than wallow in self-pity and grief.

Taehyung felt a swell of sorrow in his chest, praying that he beat this so that he could spend many more happy years with Jungkook. Jungkook, although unwittingly, was also praying for Taehyung to beat this so that they could grow old together. Jungkook didn't want to grow old by himself but he knew that he'd never find anyone like Taehyung again and that filled Jungkook with a feeling of indescribable sorrow. Before Jungkook could stop his thoughts in their track, Jungkook turned toward Taehyung with a serious expression and clasped both of Taehyung's hands in his own. "How long do you think we'll be together?" Jungkook asked softly, blurting out the question that had been burning in his mind for days now. He couldn't see himself with anybody else and he hoped Taehyung felt the same way as he did, hoping that Taehyung would find a way to get better.

Taehyung hastily cupped Jungkook's face in his hands, his lips following soon after. "I promise you, Jungkook, I'm going to find a way to live for as long as you do," Taehyung answered shortly after their lips parted, sniffling as he desperately tried to fight back tears now. Taehyung had never felt so hopeless about the future before but knowing that Jungkook may have to live without him hurt more than anything. "Please do," Jungkook whispered over the ocean, clasping Taehyung's hands and kissing him once more before pulling away from the elder. "Do you still want to ride some of the rides with me again?" Jungkook asked hesitantly, noticing that the lights on the rides were now activating. The bright colors illuminated the pinky-orange dusk sky as Taehyung chuckled at Jungkook's sudden change in topic. Taehyung clasped Jungkook's hand in his own, intertwining their fingers together with a loving smile. "Come on, let's go ride some of those again," Taehyung announced excitedly, both of them racing each other back towards the park.
