•Chapter 7•
Kevin and Anasia still having dinner.
"Don't you know that staring is rude?" Anasia asked, looking into Kevin's eyes.
My eyes are so pretty, she mentally noted, while looking at Kevin; who was in her body.
And to think that I once was insecure about my body, I'm gorgeous. Everyone is! Kevin has changed my perspective about life.
"Oh please baby, don't act like you don't enjoy how I give you my attention," Kevin cockily retorted, smirking at her.
She rolled her eyes at him, she wasn't flabbergasted by his foolishness; but deep down she loved everything he did.
"Don't roll your eyes at me princess," He said, with an amused look in his eyes.
What is wrong with me? Why am I behaving like this? Oh my Ana, what are you doing to me?
Ana blankly stared at him, resisting the urge to roll her eyes again, he was an enigma. Last week he was all cute and calm, and now he is possessive and sexy; just like a triple deck pizza.
Why does he have an amused look in his eyes? Am I now a clown or better yet a pizza crust? She thought, wanting to laugh out rambunctiously.
Ana why would you think about a pizza crust at a time like this? She wanted to slap herself.
She admired Kevin, he make light conversations— trying not to push his luck, but she enjoyed herself. All through their conversations his tone was light and teasing, making Ana relax.
The food he prepared was amazing, she was starting to feel jealous about his newly found cooking skills. She wondered if he remembered that the following day was her birthday, time was really moving fast; she was getting older, and the thought of him forgetting her birthday made her more agitated.
What if Andrea decides to come tomorrow? Please God protect us! Ana pleaded, because her best friend would go bonkers if she found out about the whole Kevin incident. Speaking of Andrea, it's best if I ring her up tonight.
After Ana savored the beautiful cheesecake, she was full and all she wanted to do was sleep on Kevin's bed, with his arms around her and him trailing kisses all over her face and— wait, what? No, I did not just think or imagine that.
She cleared her throat and pushed back her chair, even though she didn't want to go, her eyes needed to close. "Thank you for the lovely evening, but I'm afraid I must get going now."
At the end of the evening she did enjoy herself. But the way he looked at her made her mind go crazy, and her breathing became shaky.
Not wanting to hear his reply, Anasia walked into her bedroom and shut the door in a flash, she didn't realize that she held her breathe, until she started panting.
Her mind drifted to the day's events and she wondered, what if she agrees to be with Kevin? Will they remain in each other's body forever? One thing she knew was that, she couldn't stay in his body forever. There should be a way to change things.
Yeah right, don't act like you don't like his body. Her subconscious mind blurted.
Just as she was taking off her clothes, her cellphone started ringing causing her to jolt up.
Phew, thank goodness that wasn't Kevin coming up here, she signed in relief.
Andrea: Hello?
Anasia: Hi sweet cheeks, how are you?
Andrea: I'm fine, what happened to your erm, voice?
Anasia starts coughing.
Anasia: Oh that... nothing much, I just have a sore throat.
Their conversation continued for an hour before Ana bided her friend goodnight; she forgot that her voice was like Kevin's voice. Andrea promised to visit her friend the day after tomorrow, she claimed that there weren't tickets for tomorrow, that was the reason she would not make it to her birthday.
Kevin cleared the dishes and cleaned the dining table before Duncan got home, he wasn't in the mood for his boisterous behavior.
The boy often acted like a hyperactive donkey, and all Kevin wanted to do was to sleep, impressing a girl was hard work.
He went into his room and slipped into the shower to get relaxed, before laying in bed. His next surprise would have to win her back, she deserved everything coming; whenever they finally get back to their bodies, he would surely treat her much more better, like a princess she is.
The next morning Kevin awoke as early as possible, he slowly creeped into her bedroom and decorated it with balloons and rose petals, he placed some on her body, and as expected— she didn't bulge, oh my dear deep sleeper.
On his was out he plopped a letter on her dresser written— Happy birthday princess.
Ana stirred up from her slumber, she could perceived the beautiful scent of flowers— her eyes shot up. Awe I thought I was a flower. She tried to get up but she fell upon the ground with a loud thud.
Roses, flowers, hahaha... Kevin!?
This boy knew exactly what he was doing.
But she wasn't going to give into his sweetness.
M e a n w h i l e . . .
Kevin was organizing a surprise party for Anasia. He wanted her to feel young again, he wanted to bring a smile to her face.
He used his connections to get him a nice restaurant, which he booked; he booked the whole restaurant. Even though the guests at Ana's party will be strangers and a few of Kevin's friend's.
He made sure that the guests were people that didn't know him well, some fans knew his voice but didn't know how he looked like. His Instagram account only had three posts and he avoided the media, he liked to think of himself as an average person; unnecessary attention was something he hated.
Kevin was determined to make everything perfect just like his woman; who was technically still not his, yet. He did not want unexpected guests and most importantly he didn't want the media, that's why the theme of the night was a masquerade ball, no one will see their faces.
The most unfortunate thing about the party was that Kevin wished Ana was in her body; because if she was, he would have order beautiful dresses just for her.
With the help of Duncan everything was running smoothly, but occasionally Duncan became distant. No one noticed his sudden change, they probably thought it was one of those days for him.
But the truth was that Duncan still had not spoken to Mary, and he felt something was definitely wrong; but he didn't know how to make it up to her.
Just then, an idea popped into Duncan's mind as he was tying blue ribbons around the chair.
"Hey, Kev?" Duncan called out, looking at Kevin. "I need your help."
"What's wrong? Don't tell me you tied the ribbon wrongly!" Kevin asked, rolling his eyes.
He was tired.
"No, chill bro," Duncan dryly replied, he then explained the situation, and how Mary hasn't contacted him.
"Girls are weird," Kevin mumbled. "But what can we do? Nothing. Just treat them right and they will reward you. And if you treat them bad, you will pay; one way or the other."
"The thing is that, if you want something— you go and get it. Don't let her get away from you when you know very well that you want her. And at least try to find out if she likes you back, I'm pretty sure she does though," Kevin added, at the moment that was the best advice he could give; because he was chasing his girl too.
L a t e r t h a t d a y . . .
"Mary please hear me out," Duncan pleaded while knocking on Mary's door.
He came to her house to find out what he did wrong, and fortunately for him— her parents were both at work.
"I don't want to talk to you, please leave."
"But, I don't understand what I did," He was getting frustrated already. Duncan knew, he wasn't the type of person to beg, or even have this much patience.
"Just leave me alone," Mary simply stated, her voice came out shaky.
She knew she was being melodramatic, selfish, and really childish but there was nothing she could do. If she had not let her jealousy get in the way, they would still be friends. The whole thing started when she saw a picture of Duncan getting kisses from different girls. She got angry, and why would she get angry when they aren't dating?
Because Mary had a crush on Duncan.
"Listen Mary, I won't do this anymore. I'm sorry for whatever I have done, but your being unfair. Anyway today is Ana's birthday and she needs you there, I'll text you the address so unblock me," He stated, feeling matured.
M e a n w h i l e . . .
Kevin and Anasia were heading to the restaurant, she thought it was one of his date night surprises again.
What she didn't know, was that she was going to party hard and end up in sleeping next to the love of her life the next day. She also didn't know that she would have a many guests, a cake and a candle to blow.
A wish shall be made.
Will the stars be in her favor tonight?
