It has been a few days since Bad sent me that text about the friend gathering. Currently, I am on a call with Bad recording a video. A couple of days ago, we did that livestream that he asked me to join on the same day he asked me to join the future friend gathering. It went really well. A few friends joined that stream, but they soon left, and Bad and I were there for the rest of the stream. So, I was pretty much in almost all of the livestream. For once, Quackity wasn't in the livestream, and though it's quite selfish of me to think this way, I'm actually glad about that. Though, once I think about it, it wouldn't really matter if he did join because at the end of the day, I'm there as well. Either way, once the livestream ended, I took a shot at asking Bad to be in one of my videos. Just the two of us. Thankfully, he agreed!

So, that's what we're doing right now. And I couldn't be any happier, because I get to spend more time with my best friend! My attitude probably seems more lively than the few previous videos that I have managed to record ever since Melody moved into my house. I don't know if the fans will notice my change in attitude, but honestly, I don't care at the moment because I'm with Bad. We are just about wrapping up the video as it's pretty much done now. I say, "Anyways, if you guys enjoyed this video, then you will love the next one. Thanks for watching. Bye, guys!"

As soon as I finish speaking, Bad says, "Byeeeee!"

A small smile forms on my mouth at that. I love his enthusiasm. I end the recording and tell Bad, "There we go! I just ended the recording, and well- I guess that's it for today. Thanks for agreeing to join me in this video, Bad!"

"No problem, Skeppy! ...Oh, also! Before I forget- you know that friend gathering that I told you about through text?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, first of all, the others were okay with the idea of you bringing your sister over to join us. And second of all, the date has been set for this Friday! So in like two days. How does that sound? Do you have any plans on that day?"

"Oh- nope! I'm free for that day! Yeah- that sounds great! I'll make sure that my sister and I will be there."

"Okay- good... or else we would've had to schedule for a later date since the others had plans for any earlier days."

"Yeah- well, if I'm being honest, I haven't really done much lately. It hasn't really been busy, just staying in the house all day. Can be kinda boring... but at least my sister moved in recently for the summer!"

"Wait, she moved in with you?"

"Yeah. She honestly surprised me with a visit at first, and then I offered her to stay at the house while she visited town for the summer."

"Oh- well, I hope things weren't too... boring- for you before your sister moved in. I hope she made things a bit livelier for you..."

I get stiff at the subtly awkward tone that came from Bad's voice at that. Sh*t- he must be realizing how lonely and bored I quickly get if I have no one around me to spend time with or communicate with. The guilt must be starting to get to him- I don't want him to feel bad! I say, "Oh yeah- things were fine! Nothing I couldn't handle- but my sister sure did live things up a bit. Don't worry, things are fine."

Bad stays silent for a moment. I hear him suck in a breath before he slowly says, "Maybe... one of these days... I should go over there and visit you?"

It feels like my mind is running a thousand miles per hour from the sudden rush of adrenaline and excitement it gained just now. I say, "YES!- yes- you should- if you want to- you can totally come over to the house and visit!"

"...Alright then. Once I find the time, I'll see if I can do it."

"G-great...!"

"Well- I gotta go now. I'll see you at the gathering, Skeppy! Bye!"

"Oh, alright then. Bye, Bad! I'll see you there!"

And with that, we leave the call. I'm grinning so wide right now. That whole conversation just turned things even brighter for me. I get up from my chair and head out out of my bedroom. I guess  I should go to Melody and tell her the news. I walk down the hallway to the bedroom that she is occupying. I knock and then wait for a moment before I open the door a little to take a peek inside. Huh, she isn't here. I guess she must be in the living room or something.

I close the door and head over to the living room. Just as I thought, there she is. She is currently watching something on the television while munching on some chips. I go over and sit next to her on the couch with a smile on my face and say, "Hey, sis!"

She pauses whatever she is watching and turns to me. She says, "Hey, Zak. Did you finish your recording?"

"Mhm!"

She studies me for a moment and then says, "Well, you seem in a bright mood right now. Did something good happen?"

"Yup! But first, I gotta tell you that Bad said that everyone was okay with you going to the friend gathering and that it will be this Friday."

"Oh, okay! Then... what has put you in a good mood? Or was that it?"

"Mm, that's part of the reason. But mostly, it's because Bad just told me that he is considering to come over and visit sometime once he has the chance."

"Oh! Well, that's nice! I'm glad. It seems like you are starting to spend together again, that's good!"

"Yeah! I have a feeling that things are really starting to turn for the better!"
