Important: (I know we've just skipped the conversation on the wagon and arriving at the forest part, but the thing is I've only seen the movie in cinemas once and I don't have Netflix anymore, so I have to rely on YouTube clips to get information, which also why some scenes in this story may have been inaccurate in the past and will likely be in the future. But anyways I couldn't find any clips of the scenes after they escape the city or of arriving at the forest, so until I can we're just going to skip to when they land in the forest and look at the map)

To get a quick idea of what is suppose to happen you've gotten to know Kitty, Puss and Perrito a bit better, and they know you better but don't know about your mama or your past (yet), but Kitty is distrusting of you due to you being a potential threat, the same with Puss though not to the same extent mainly because he knows who your papa was, and Perrito, being Perrito wants to be your friend which you aren't quite sure how to respond to.

Falling through the dark magical tunnel was a... frighting experience for all of you... Until you all saw light and landed on the ground, groaning in pain you got up, only to see you had landed ontop Kitty, who does not look amused.  You quickly rolled off her.

Y/n: "sorry senoritta Kitty"

Kitty says nothing as she stands up and walks over to Perrito who was looking down at Puss who was still on the ground.  You follow quickly.  When you reach Puss you gently kick him.

Y/n: "Wake up Senor, you can't die yet"

Puss: "Hey! don't- woah"

He trails off as he sees where he is making the rest of you take in your surroundings.  When you think of dark forest you'd expect to see a forest covered in shadows and dead trees.  But this forest had bright colours, live trees with pink leaves, and bright sunshine.

Kitty: "For a, dark forest this place is pretty colourful.  I wish I had my quinceanera here" 

Puss: "The wishing star is in here, somewhere.  Kitty, may I please see the map"

Kitty: "No" she says almost immediately

Puss: "Seriously, you won't let me hold it for even one minuet!"

Kitty: "Nope, not even for one second"

Y/n: *Already knowing the answer* "Can I see the map then?"

Kitty: "No, because I trust you either scarface"

Y/n: *Stern voice* "Do not call me that"

Puss: "Come on Kitty, you've got to.  Trust me"  He then starts making adorable eyes to try and guilt her

Perrito: "Wait, wh-w-what's going on with his eyes?  Oh their getting bigger, ohh Kitty.  You've gotta trust him look at that face"

Y/n: "I don't think those eyes will help him"

Kitty: "That's one thing we can agree on Y/n, and if you call that cute Perrito"

Kitty then starts making her own adorable eyes.

Perrito: "Oh look at her.  Those eyes are even bigger then yours, do whatever she wants Puss"  He said quickly changing sides.

And in response Puss makes his beard more poofy to rival Kitty

Perrito: "What a second.  So poofy!"

This had quickly become a contest of who could make the cutest face and gain Perrito's support.  With you silently watching.  And even more silently wondering it was hard to take your eyes off Kitty.

Perrito: "No! with the paws, come on"  *gasp*  "With the hat"

Perrito: "It's all. so. cute"

Perrito: "Cuteness overload!!!"

Perrito screams before fainting from the excitement onto his face.

Y/n: "You both killed him with cuteness, bien hecho"

Puss: *Done with today* "Can we look at the map now?"

Kitty roles a still unconscious Perrito over with her foot and spreads the map out over the perfect dog shaped print in the grass.  Writing then appears on the map.

Kitty: "Follow this enchanted chart.  It knows your path.  And it knows your heart"

Puss: *Notices the four gold dots that have pictures of all of you on them* "Is that, us?"

He then places his paw over the map and his picture lights up, a path appears on the map and his eyes briefly turn to stars.  Instantly the forest changes from happy and colourful to to a field of lave and fire.  After staring in shock for about five seconds Puss read the locations on the map.

Puss: "It says we must go through the valley of incineration, over Undertaker ridge, through the cave of lost souls?!  Really"

Y/n: *Shoves him aside* "Let me see"

You place your own paw over the map and your picture swaps from the left to the top with Puss's picture.  Like before your eyes turn to stars and the map changes.  But this time to a dark forest with no fire or lave.

Y/n: "Why did?-*Looks at the map* "Through the forest of silent shadows, The ocean of sadness, The cliffs of departing current lives!"

Puss: "The cliffs of departing current lives?"

Y/n: *Swaps places with Kitty incredibly fast* "H-here you look"

The tuxedo cat looks at you but doesn't press on as she places her paw on the map, just like before her eyes turned to stars, her picture swapped with yours and the map changed.  This time to a swamp with a river leading through the middle that seemed to be made of acid.

Kitty: "What.  Swamp of Infinite sorrows, Mountains of misery, The abyss of eternal loneliness!  Theres something wrong with this map"

Puss: "I guess there is a different terrible path for everyone"

Y/n: "To earn one's heart's desire you must give a heart's effort"

Perrito: Well I don't even have a wish.  But can I try?"

He says as he places his paw on the map the same thing happens to him.  Only this time instead of a forest full of lave shadows or acid, the forest turns back to happy and colourful much to the shock of everyone.

Perrito: "Ooh my says we skip through the pocket full o' posies"

Puss: *Confused* "What?"

Perrito: "Drift down the river of relaxation, that sounds fun"

Kitty: *scratching her head* "No far, why does he get the good one?"

Y/n: *lightly shakes his head* "It's always the ones who don't want anything"

Perrito: "Wonder the fields of quick and easy solutions and arrive at the star.  Oh way that sounds wonderful.  Oh but no" *starts backing up* "This is your place, I don't want to impose"

Cats: *Pushes him back to the map* "You hold the map"

Perrito: *Gasp* "really"

Kitty: "But don't you cross me, or your name will be" *Draws dagger* "Perro muerto"

Perrtio: *Oblivious to the fact he was just threatend* "Okei doki"

You all heard a noise and looked to see the map had change and now showed a fifth gold dot, this time with three bears and a girl crammed onto it.  Right on the cue a portal opened up in the sky a way behind you, and Goldi and the three bears crime family fell out of it.

Y/n: "Something tells me we should run"

Puss: "Fine by me"

Kitty quickly rolled up the map and placed it on Perrito's back and the four of you took off ready to face the hopefully easy challenges ahead.

Fun fact: I looked up what that meant and it is the celebration of a girl's 15th birthday, marking her passage from girlhood to womanhood
