You woke up this morning and looked at the calendar before slowly heading back to sleep.

Then you snapped awake again upon realizing what day it is.

"I almost forgot!"

You see, today is Musa's birthday. You've been in a relationship with her since her break-up with Riven, and you felt that if you missed this important day, you would considered a bad boyfriend. Not as bad as Riven, but almost as much.

Still, even though you weren't her boyfriend, you did NOT want to risk losing the only relationship you've been proud of.

You gathered up all the money you saved up, and you were just about to leave to get her the present you eyed in the supermarket the other day when you heard a knock on the door.

As you opened the door, you saw Bloom standing outside.

Bloom: "I need to talk to you about something."

You sat her down in a chair and poured some tea.

Bloom: "My friends and I are getting ready for Musa's birthday, and we want it to be a surprise for her."

"Okay," you said sipping your cup of tea.

Bloom: "So I was wondering if you could spend the day with Musa. You know, just the two of you."

You choked on your mouthful of tea and swallowed hard.

"Wait-- you mean an entire day?!"

Bloom: "That's what I meant."

"But Blo--"

Bloom: "Just spend some time with her. That's all I'm asking you to do today."

"There's just one little problem tho."

Bloom: "You have feelings for her."

You stood in stony silence.

"Bloom, please don't tell!" you begged.

Bloom: "I won't, as long as you do what I say."

You were about to say something else, but you were too late. Bloom had begun to leave.

Now you couldn't change anything. This HAD to be done.

On the plus side, at least you have a chance with her.

So, after you got dressed, you nervously walked up to her dorm door and knocked on it.

Except that the door opened before you got the chance to knock.

Musa looked at you with a slight bit of concern.

Musa: "Are you okay, Y/N?"

You blushed.

"I'm alright."

You cleared your blushes away.

"Are you free today?"

Musa: "Yes."

"Did you want to go by the guitar shop?"

Musa: "I did! How did you know?"

"I mean..."

Musa: "I need you to wait outside. I need to get ready!"

After a few minutes on your phone, you heard the door open.

Musa: "I'm ready!"

You blushed slightly upon seeing her in that dress.

Musa: "Are YOU ready to leave, Y/N?"

"Y-y-y-yes, I am."

Musa: "Great. Then let's get going."

As you and Musa walked down the street, you saw a little girl whose balloon was stuck up a tree.

"I'll be right back, Musa."

You rushed over to the tree and helped the girl get her balloon down from it. This all occurred as Musa watched from afar in shock.

"I should tell him how I feel about him," Musa thought. "But not now. I need to wait for the perfect moment."

You walked back to Musa and she held you by your hand, causing you to blush slightly.

For most of the day, you and Musa walked around various shopping centers at the mall and looked at things.

When you went to the aquarium center, as you watched one of the whales swim around, it made a big splash.

Musa feared she would get wet, but you stepped in front of her, taking the splash and all the water with it.

Musa: "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

Afterwards, you went into the restroom to change out of your wet clothes. You and Musa made it back to Alfea before sunset.

Before you reached the school, you realized you forgot something.

"Musa?"

Musa: "Yes?"

"Meet me at the front of the school."

Musa: "Okay, I'll be waiting!"

You rushed over to the guitar shop, and you made it just before it closed for the day.

You walked away while hanging your head in shame. The day was officially ruined.

But then, there was a glimmer of hope at the end of the sidewalk.

Meanwhile, at Alfea, Musa entered her dorm and received a surprise from her friends.

Musa: "I am glad to be with all of you today. I wish Y/N was here to celebrate with me."

Before Musa could blow out her candles, there was a knock on her door. She opened the door in surprise of her grand surprise.

"Happy Birthday, Musa."

Musa took your gift and opened it to see a brand-new purple guitar, to replace her old, broken one.

After the party and all her friends left, you were left in the same room with the birthday girl.

Musa: "Y/N?"

"Yes?"

Musa: "Before you leave for the night, I would like to talk to you."

You sat down next to her.

Musa: "Close your eyes."

"Why?"

Musa: "I want it to be a surprise."

As you closed your eyes, she kissed you on the lips. Once you opened them, you instantly turned red.

Musa: "Oh, Y/N, this is the greatest gift you ever gave me, but I really wanted an extra-special gift."

"Well, what is it," you asked as you drank some water.

Musa: "If you could be my boyfriend."

You spit out the water violently.

"You serious?"

Musa: "Yes."

You thought to yourself for a moment. This is your one and only chance. Tell her now, or be lonely for the rest of your life.

"I accept your confession," you said. "After all, I had feelings for you, too."

Musa: "R-really?"

"Yes. I've been wanting to tell you this for the longest time."

You took hold of her hand.

"I love you, Musa."

Stunned by your words, Musa kissed you once more, causing you to fall to the floor and she laughed.

Musa: "I love you too, Y/N."

"Happy Birthday, Musa."
