You were currently in the midst of discussing your forthcoming marriage to Crown Princess Daphne of Domino.

You felt that nothing would stop you from fulfilling your dream of marrying the princess. Not even the fact that Daphne's younger sister was your friend could stop this moment.

Before the marriage was to be final, Daphne told you to meet her at a coffee shop to discuss the terms of the marriage.

As you waited for her to arrive, you bought yourself two cups of coffee and some donuts for her eventual arrival.

As you were reading from the newspaper just for the comic section, the princess arrived at the table.

Daphne: "Were you waiting for me?"

"Uh, yes, I was, Princess."

Daphne: "Sorry for being late. I had to take care of some important things at Domino."

She sat down in the chair across from you.

"So, what did you want to discuss, Princess?"

Daphne: "Our marriage."

"Oh, yeah," you said meekly as you passed her a cup of coffee.

Daphne: "Before we are to marry, we must discuss the terms."

"I didn't know there would be strings attached!"

Daphne: "Y/N?"

"Oh, sorry. I just wanted a little joke before the actual discussion starts."

Daphne: "The one thing you need to know right now is that, even though we are to marry, you will be showing that you are a viable prince to Domino."

"Yes, Princess."

Daphne: "Whenever duties are given to you, you will complete them in the time allotted. No slacking off."

"I understand."

Daphne: "You will also treat my parents and my sister with respect."

You sat in silence.

Daphne: "Are we clear?"

"Yes," you said, snapping back to reality. "Sorry for zoning out on that last one."

Daphne: "I'll tell my parents, and they'll decided whether or not you're fit for a princess."

As she left the coffee shop, you sat in silence, pondering the situation at hand.

You knew her parents were going to reject you no matter what. That's what you knew was going to happen.

But at the same time, you felt curious to see if they felt you were fit to be married to the princess.

Whatever the case, you needed to get your behavior shaped up, or else you weren't marrying the princess of your dreams.
