Bella was sleeping inside her and Bloom's room. The two of them shared the same room and slept in separate beds. Bloom was sleeping while Bella was remembering the day she met the phoenix dragon hybrid name Arcticnight.

~Bella's Flashback~

Little Bella was playing and laughing in Gardenia Park when she heard a sound coming from the forest.

"I wonder what made that sound?" Bella questioned in confusion. She decided to check it out. When she walked through the forest, she found a very incredible creature. This creature was a dragon/phoenix hybrid. It has the body of a phoenix and tail of a dragon. She realized that the hybrid was hurt and decided to help it. She walked slowly over to it as the hybrid noticed her. "It's okay, I'm a friend. I won't hurt you." She reassured it as she petted it gently and it warmed up to her. "Here, I'll take you to my house and patch you up." The hybrid nodded as it put Bella on its back and flew carefully and slowly back to Bella's house.

~Bella's and Bloom's House~

When they get to the house, Bella and the hybrid quietly walk in and go straight up to her and Bloom's room without her parents and twin sister noticing. Bella first grabbed some medical aid and began to fix and patch the hybrid.

"There. You should be healed in no time if you get some rest." Bella smiled.

"Thank you." The hybrid smiled as Bella gasped in shock and disbelief.

"You can talk!?" Bella gasped in shock and awe.

"Yes. I can." The hybrid smiled.

"Wow." Bella breathed.

"My name is Arcticnight." The Hybrid, Arctic, introduced herself as she smiled at Bella. "I'm very glad to finally meet and find you, Bella. Because I have been looking for you."

"You were looking for me? Why?" Bella asked.

"Well, I'm a Phoenix/Dragon Hybrid." Arcticnight replied. "My kind were very powerful creatures. There were two kinds: The Phoenix and the Dragons. Individually, the Phoenix represents the 'yin' energy (female energy), and when paired with the dragon, it represents the 'yang' energy (male energy). They have been at war with each other for a very long time since the beginning. Until one day, my mother, , and my father, , decided to end the war by uniting the two clans."

"Did they succeed?" Bella asked in concern and hope.

"Yes." Arcticnight nodded as Bella smiled in happiness. "The two kinds united into one. The dragon and phoenix are considered a perfect couple and a symbol of love, which is why they are believed to be an auspicious symbol that invites matrimony bliss. Then, one day, my mother and father began to have feelings for each other and fell in love."

"Really?" Bella asked as Arcticnight nodded.

"Yes. When both the dragon and phoenix come together, they symbolize love, harmony, and togetherness." Arcticnight explained. "It signifies that the man and his spouse will stay together, come what may, and support each other through thick and thin. Their love and passion will last forever. Both the symbols ensure patriarch as well as matriarch luck. There, my mother and father have me. I symbolized and represented the unity, love and harmony between the two kinds."

"Then why aren't you with your kind?" Bella asked as Arcticnight looked sadly down at the ground.

"An attack happened on my kind 15 years ago..." Arcticnight trailed off.

~Arcticnight's Memories~

Dark clouds spread across the sky of . Thunders and lightning as the phoenixes and dragons flew away from the three cackling witches.

"Three unfamiliar witches suddenly appeared in our home and began attacking us." Arcticnight explained as the three witches began throwing spells at the phoenixes and dragons. "They called themselves the three Ancestral Witches. They came here looking for me as I have power greater and equal to the Great Dragon." Bedelia and Bahamut were standing protectively in front of a teenage Arcticnight. She was hiding in fear behind her parents. "The Ancestral Witches demanded that my parents hand me over to them. But before my parents could decide, they turned to me." Bedelia and Bahamut turned to little Arcticnight.

"My dearest daughter..." Bedelia trailed off. "...There is something you should know."

"What is it, mother?" Arcticnight asked.

"There is a person that you are destined to guard and protect at all cost." Bahamut replied as his eyes glowed in unison with Bedelia's eyes. They showed her an image of a little girl beside another little girl at Domino. "This younger child is named Bella. She is the destined one that you should guard and protect with your life. Find her and stay by her side. Never leave her."

"Yes, father." Arcticnight nodded as her parents turned to the Ancestral Witches.

"We will never hand over our daughter to you fiends!" Bedelia bellowed angrily.

"We demand that you leave this place at once!" Bahamut demanded.

"Wrong answer, Your Highnesses!" The first witch cackled as the three of them began to conjure up their spell together.

"Bedelia!" Bahamut called out to her as Bedelia nodded.

"Hurry, Arcticnight!" Bedelia urged her daughter as she summoned a portal and pushed her in.

"Mother! Father! What are you doing!?" Arcticnight yelled. She was starting to be sucked into the portal.

"You must survive! Find the youngest twin, Bella, and guard her including her twin sister! You must never let them or you be in the wrong hands!" Bahamut yelled back to her.

"I believe that you and the two princesses are the only hope to stop whatever threat comes to the entire Magic Dimension!" Bedelia smiled sadly. "I believe in you, my daughter. Go and good luck! Survive!" The three witches then threw their spells as the portal was closing up.

"MOTHER!!!! FATHER!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" Arcticnight screamed as she was finally sucked inside and flew through the portal.

~Arcticnight's Memories End~

"After the attack, I went through the portal that my mother helped me through to escape from the Ancestral Witches..." Arcticnight replied. "...But then the Ancestral Witches followed me and attacked me and I landed on Earth with injuries."

"I'm sorry about your parents and your kind, Arcticnight." Bella said sadly.

"You're too kind, Bella." Arcticnight smiled.

"But why do your parents think I'm your destined one to guard and protect?" Bella asked.

"Because you are the princess of the planet Domino along with your twin sister, Bloom." Arcticnight answered. "When you two were babies, the ancestral witches attacked your palace, petrified all Domino's inhabitants, and changed the planet into an iced desert. Before being changed into an immaterial spirit, Daphne, yours and Bloom's older sister, sent you two to Earth to protect you girls. And then, you two were found and raised by Mike and Vanessa."

"Wow. I didn't know that me and Bloom were princesses from Domino." Bella breathed. "But now that I know, I will do everything in my power to protect my twin sister."

"And I will be there to help you, Bella." Arcticnight smiled as Bella smiled thankfully at her. "Also, there is something else that you should know."

"What is it?" Bella asked.

"There is a girl named Icy." Arcticnight replied. "Icy became so power-hungry because she wanted to become more powerful than the Shaman Witch herself, in order to undo her spell on Sapphire and save Dyamond. Icy's childhood trauma filled Icy's heart with anger and desire for revenge, to the point that Icy became herself cruel, ruthless and even capable of killing anyone standing in her way. Her original goal to save her kingdom later expanded into a desire to rule the world. Also, she is a direct descendant of one of the three Ancestral Witches. You have to find a way to stop her and remind her about what really matters and important to her. It might not work but it's still worth a shot."

"Thanks, Articnight. And I will." Bella promised as Arcticnight smiled in appreciation at her. "But I think we should think up a nickname for you and keep you hidden from Bloom and my parents until the time is right." She suggested.

"Alright. What should my nickname be?" Arcticnight asked.

"Hmm. How about Glacilis?" Bella suggested.

"Glacilis? I like it." Arcticnight, now Glacilis, smiled. The two of them smiled and put their foreheads together as their friendship bonded and formed. Two appeared around their necks without them knowing.

~Bella's Memories Ended~

Bella looked down and smiled as Glacilis sleep by her bed. She looked down at the necklace around her neck. She was wondering where it came from but decided to leave it alone. She then went back to her peaceful sleep.
