[3rd Person POV]
"I do not."
"Yes, you do!"
"Do not."
"Do too."
"Do NOT."
"Do too."
"Would you two stop behaving like children?" Professor Red sighs, turning to Time and Sabre behind him, growing tired of their horsing around. "I'm trying to focus on possibilities of reversing this."
The Professor looks at them both as Time quietly snickers at Sabre's predicament. The reversal trials for attempting to get Sabre back to his normal self had been going well, even the antlers he had mostly disappearing, but it seems with the change in seasons the mutagen within Sabre's body had flared up due to the outdoors turning into similar climates to the Abyss.
Now they're almost back at square one, except this time Sabre's abyssal coloration had turned more of a brown instead of grey, and he's grown to be three times his normal height.
"It's not me! Time keeps saying I look like a reindeer, which I don't." Sabre says, slightly glaring down at Time.
"You really do, though." Time says.
"No I don't!" Sabre exclaims, getting more annoyed with all of the teasing.
"On the contrary, Sabre, he's correct." Professor Red says as he starts to laugh a bit.
Sabre shifts his glare to the Professor, which just makes the two Steves laugh harder. Sabre mumbles a few choice words as Light walks into the lab.
"Any luck?" Light asks, glancing at Sabre's newer look and chuckling. Even he has to admit, it's at least a little bit funny.
"Don't laugh at me." Sabre grumbles.
"No, nothing yet." Professor Red says, answering Light. "This change in the Abyss' mutagen made it more stubborn. There has been a little progress though, since earlier I was able to reverse the claws."
"That's good." Light says, then looks up at Sabre. "How's the weather up there, deer boy?"
"I will punt you across the room." Sabre says as he stares right back at Light, ignoring the slight ache in his neck from having to look down so much.
"Yeah right, you wouldn't." Light laughs.
"You sure about that, snowball?" Sabre grins.
"YOU-"
Light is interrupted by uproarious laughter from the Professor and Time. As they continue to laugh, Sabre and Light stay glaring at each other, which just adds more hilarity to the situation.
