CHAPTER 47

Kaia's POV:

I walked the long corridor through the Avenger's Compound until I reached Bucky's room. I knocked, but I didn't hear any response. After 2 seconds of waiting by the door I opened it.

"What are you doing?" a half-naked Bucky asked. I didn't bother hiding my blush as I admired his perfectly sculpted body. I looked him up and down.

"Come with me outside. Now," I said. Bucky looked a bit distraught, but followed me.

I was still a bit scared of being around him. I never know when he might suddenly attack me, but if he would never attack me, right?

We walked to the lounge area and sat down. I was done with waiting for something to happen, I was the one that had to talk to him.

"Bucky. I know this might still be very confusing for you, but this conversation was long overdue."

He nodded solemnly, "I understand." "But-" He said before he rubbed his eyes. He took a deep breath and said,

"I actually remember now." My eyes grew wide and my heart started beating fast. Was this really happening? "Some things are still hazy, but I remember now," he said smiling.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I was met with fierce muscle as he wrapped his arm around me.

I stood on my toes and kissed him. This was him. Not the brain-washed bloodthirsty Bucky, but the one I know. I could feel his hair, his breath, and his scent.

"I actually started remembering after Tony and Strange worked with me," he said. I replied, "Then why didn't you tell me so?" I said looking at him.

"Because I was scared," he said. "Everything happened so fast, I have no words to describe it." He looked down. "I was with you, then in a plane, and then in his hands again." "I was scared that if they found out I was back to normal they would come get me, and you," he said looking down at my belly.

I hadn't realised the tears falling down my cheeks as I put my hands on his cheeks and kissed him. He was back.

"Well, I guess I missed a lot," he said laughing. "You have," I said laughing, while he wiped my tears away. "What gender are they?" he said, looking down at my belly again. "One girl and two boys," I said, smiling.

He looked back at me in surprise and hugged me. "I might not remember everything, but I do remember that you are the woman I love," he said.

SOME MONTHS BEFORE

"How is he doing?" the man asked. "He's doing better," Strange said. "Seems to be remembering things."

"Well- that's good," the man replied, sighing. I looked around to see some things attached to my arms, but they were not painful, it's as if they were never there.

"Hey Bucky," the man said. "Welcome home," he said smiling. Tony.

It took me a long time to remember anything that happened, the strange girl, my best friend, the tower. I just wanted everything to go back to normal, I just wanted to live again.

"Bucky, you are going to get better," Strange said, smiling. "Kaia, I don't know why she hates me that much, but I hope one day she will thank me," he said laughing jokingly.

"You've been doing much better, we need to inform the oth-" Tony tried to say before I said, "No". They looked at each other and repeated confused, "No?"

"No, I don't want them to know," I said looking down. "I don't remember everything, just some things."

Tony took a deep breath and said "Whatever you want Bucky." "Alright, let's move to the next step," Strange said before I fell asleep.

BACK TO NORMAL TIME

BUCKY'S POV:

I didn't remember everything, but I remember what happened before I was captured, the woman, and the kids.

I remembered that I laughed, smiled and had a good time. And when I was brought here- If I just had control of my head. I would kill them for what they did again, I will make them regret making the people I love into danger.

But for now, I was back, I remembered things, and I was with her.

"You don't seem so shocked," I said laughing. "Well, I hoped this moment would happen, well a different way but, I guess I was already shocked the moment you came into the tower," she said smiling.

"I missed you," I said. "I missed you too," she said, holding my hand.

KAIA'S POV:

"You fucking liar," Pietro said laughing hugging Bucky. Everyone in the room was in shock or laughing, Strange and Tony were smiling. While everyone talked with Bucky I went up to them.

"I guess thank you?" I said sarcastically. "You're welcome," Tony said, smiling. I looked at Strange who was smiling and said "Now I don't know why you act rude around me." "Either you didn't want to tell me about Bucky or you just didn't like me," I said smiling.

They both laughed and he said "That's something I'll never say." "But you're welcome," he said, smiling.

"The reason we didn't want to tell you was because he still does not remember a lot of things," Tony said. "But he's doing better, and by the end of 2 months, if everything goes right, he will remember everything," Tony said.

"Have you found who's behind this?" I asked. Tony looked at Strange and said "No, but we will."

I smiled and gave them a hug. Strange didn't like hugs apparently.

I went back to where most of the Avengers were, hugging Bucky and talking with him. Pietro and Nat came close to me and they said, "See? We were right." I laughed and hugged them. "Thank you." They hugged me back and we talked for a long time.

After two hours of everyone talking I went to go get Steve, even after what he did, he deserved to see his best friend.
