CHAPTER 46

"What do you mean you set me up?" I asked angrily at Nat. "You need to have some fun, you're so boring now," Nat said, rolling her eyes. "Are you serious right now?" I said going back to the computer. "Kaia- you are stressed," Nat said, sighing.

"Yeah no shit Natasha," I said looking away from her. There was a silence in the room, Nat kept on looking at me. "You're jealous," she said smiling. "Jealous of what," I asked, not even questioning. "Oh, nothing then," Nat said, smirking.

I looked at her annoyed and stormed out of the lab. "Please, jealous," I said under my breath. What did I have to be jealous of? I didn't have my powers, I had no control, I had 3 kids, and Bucky was gone. I wanted to scream. I needed to scream.

I smirked and walked to Yelena's room.

BUCKY'S POV:

I was not going to let this man control me around, but I followed him.

"You made that dream, didn't you?" I said angrily while walking in the hallways. "Well at least you figured it out," he said laughing. "Why?" It was all I said, something was going on.

He stopped and looked at me, "That is for you to find out." He continued on walking and said, "If you find out." Find out what?

No one was in the hallways as we walked down to the lab, this place was huge. "Please, jealous," someone said from a distance. Strange looked down at me and then smiled. "Who's that?" I asked. "That is Kaia, Kaia Odinson," he said. So that was the woman.

Interesting.

"Let's go," he said, opening the door to the lab. When I entered the room there was a red haired girl that shot me a death stare along with a man with greyish hair next to Tony.

KAIA'S POV:

"You have gone out of your mind," Yelena said laughing. "Side effects from being with your sister," I said jokingly, Yelena laughed and tried to throw her shoes at my face. "Missed," I said smiling. "Let's go," she said, getting out of bed.

Standing on the roof brought many memories, bad and good. When Bucky was captured, and when Bucky was found. There was a lot. Already soaking us up. "You need to stop thinking about him, they are doing all they can," Yelena said, annoyed. "Enjoy your time now, think that everything is going to get fixed," she said smiling.

"I would beat you up, but I can't," I said laughing. "I miss the dinner fights with you and spider boy," Yelena said laughing. "Those were fun," I smiled. "Of course they were," Yelena said looking up at the sky. "If we go back like this, Tony is going to kill us," I laughed.

"Ok who wants to go in first?" she asked. "I'll go first, might as cross something off my bucket list," I said smirking.

"1..2..3!"

We entered the helicopter and it soon flew into the sky. We yelled out of excitement and watched the city get smaller as we rose higher. Everyone was having fun and pointing out little details they saw.

I looked at her in shock and she said, "What? This is like free therapy." "Tell me, the only reason we are doing this is to get revenge on someone, am I wrong?" I smiled, shaking my head and asked, "Do you want to go down to the lab with me?" she smiled and we entered the tower soaked with water.

BUCKY'S POV:

"Bucky," Tony said, breaking the tension between the 2 people in front of me. "We need to run some tests," Tony said. The two people in front would not stop looking at me. "Nat, Pietro, cut it," Tony said. Pietro looked at Tony, but Nat took a few seconds to give me an evil smile.

"Bucky, please follow me-" Tony said before two voices interrupted everything. The splashing of water in the hallways made Nat look at Pietro confused. "LAST CHRISTMAS I GA-" The two voices started to sing. "It's not even Christmas-" Tony said putting his hands over his face.

"Oh hey!" One of the girls said she was blonde with green eyes. "Did we not get invited to this party?" she said laughing. "Yelena.." Nat said, tilting her head in disarmament. I turned to look at the other woman but she was already looking at me.

That was Kaia.

A strange voice in my head said " Oh thank you for the letter." The same voice as her-

"Of course, and you're blushing again by the way," my own head voice said. I didn't realise I was staring at her.

"I have to go," I said as I left. Everyone was silent while I left, and I did not look back. Who was this woman and why was she in my head?

KAIA'S POV:

"He remembers?" Pietro said standing up from the sofa. "That's impossible, we didn't even start with the treatment," Nat said. "Kaia," someone said. "Kaia," Tony said. I turned around to see them all looking. I swallowed the knot that was forming in my throat. "Did you-" he tried to ask.

Before he even had the chance I said, "No, no" I said looking down. "Ask your friend Strange here." I said looking at Strange angrily. "Since he came here he does nothing more than annoy Bucky and I," I said angrily.

"Maybe if someone decided to tell me what you are planning on doing, then these types of conversations would never happen," I said, still looking at Strange. He just smiled. Did he have no emotions?

"Kaia, you know the truth," he said. He was referring to the reading. "You know your fate," he said smiling. My blood was boiling. I couldn't breathe from the anger building up. "Say one more word," I said looking at him. "And I will cut your tongue".

"Be my guest-" My dagger was already thrown to aim at his hair, I would not be that evil today. It cut a strand of his hair and stuck to the wall. He looked at me as if I were something evil. "I warned you," I said. "Stay out of my way," I said walking towards Bucky's room.
