BUCKY'S POV

I woke up with New York peacefully covered in snow. It was so beautiful. I looked down to see Kaia sleeping peacefully, her sleeping face made my heart race. I don't know what I would do without her, she has saved me in so many ways.

I went next to her and carefully woke her up. "Hm?" Kaia said, scratching her forehead. "Hey Doll," I said, giving her a kiss. "Good Morning Buck, Oh and happy Christmas!" Kaia said surprised. It was funny to watch her celebrate her first Christmas since she acted like a little kid on her first Christmas.

KAIA'S POV

I woke up to see Bucky with his 3 little tiny braids that I made on his hair yesterday which made me laugh because he kept touching them. "What's so funny?" he asked, confused. "The fact that you still have the braids," I said laughing. "Oh-" Said Bucky looking at the braids.

"Ready for some presents?" Bucky said. "Yes," I said, smiling. We got dressed with some clothes that Pepper prepared for us. I had a pyjama with Christmas trees everywhere and Bucky had one with Christmas lights. "I'm going to burn this thing afterwards," Bucky said.

We heard downstairs where Steve, Nat, and Sam were already waiting on the sofas. "Merry Christmas," Nat said, hugging me. "Merry Christmas," I said, giving her a hug. Bucky and I sat on the black leather sofa and waited for everyone else to come, after what seemed like 15 minutes Sam said. "Jarvis, please put the loudest noise that you can find in each one of the other rooms, and tell them to move their ass over here." "Alright!" said Jarvis. We all looked at Sam with a weird face and he just smiled while sipping his coffee.

Suddenly we heard the screaming of Thor saying "TURN THAT OFF!" We all started laughing and they all came looking horrible to the living room. "Who had the great idea to make me go deaf?" Tony said. Steve pointed at Sam from the back and Tony sent him a sarcastic kiss.

"Alright kids, adults and one hundred year old men," Tony said smiling which made Steve and Bucky get really annoyed. "Let's open presents," Tony said with a smile. Everyone had their own stack of presents that put who it was from. I opened the present that Pietro got me, it was the blue agate coffee cup we saw at Starbucks that we stopped to look at.

I went up to Pietro and hugged him and said, "Thank you thank you!" in excitement. He laughed and I got back to my place. After opening more presents, I was impressed by how many I had. Wanda got me a book with her favorite recipes on them. Steve got me one of his favourite books he read when he was my human age. Thor and Loki wrote me a letter to read it alone when I go to Italy so I put it in my pockets to put it in the suitcase.

Natasha got me a beautiful picture framed of our first mission together, at the back of the frame it had a message.

"Dear Kaia, our little revenge of the Avengers, you have been like a sister to me, you have made me forget about my bad past and helped me to move on. I've learned so many things from you, "just because you have power doesn't mean you know how to use it" that's one of the first things that came out of your mouth when you first met me. I will always be here for you and I love you so much. Your big sister Nat."

I was about to cry when I went up to Nat and said, "I love you too," I said hugging her. After talking for a while with Nat, I went back and opened more presents. Bruce got me a shirt that said, "Science rocks.'' I laughed at it because it was very sweet of him. Peter got me a skateboard and he said that I would love to go skate with him and his friends so I agreed. Finally, Sam got me a book of all the ways he thought I was annoying at the beginning when he first met me.

We all had breakfast and I kept Bucky's present to give it to him that night. "Alright guys, we all have to visit family etc.. so we will have a big dinner tonight before some of you leave for Italy," Tony said. We all agreed and went back to our rooms to get changed.

"Hey I'm going to go take a shower ok?" said Bucky. "Ok, I'll go check up on Wanda and Pietro to see if they need help with their suitcases," I said, giving him a smile.

I left the room and headed off to Wanda's room when I suddenly had a really big headache that made me stop walking for a minute. I closed my eyes tightly to see if the pain would go away, and it did. I entered Wanda's room a little dizzy. "You ok?" Wanda asked coming up to me. "Yeah, I'm just a little dizzy," I said sitting down on her bed.

She was making her suitcase and packing her things. "Are you excited?" Wanda said with a smile. "I am to go to Italy, but not to go after Yelena," I said nervously. "Oh don't worry about her," Wanda said. I left her room because she said that she didn't need anything.

I went back to my room to get rid of the headaches I was getting. I collapsed into the bed and stayed half-asleep there. "Kaia? Are you alright?" Bucky asked with a towel loosely wrapped around his waist. "Yeah- I'm just a little dizzy," I said, turning around. Bucky came in front of me and took the hair that I had on my face to the back of my hair. "You sure your ok?" he asked, concerned.

"Yes," I said with a weak smile.
