I woke up in a dark room with flickering lights around. I was tied to a chair and my head hurt along with the sting I had on my neck. My eyes took some time adjusting. I heard someone say, "You didn't see that coming?" I focused and realised it was Pietro. He looked incredibly sleep deprived.

"What do you want," I asked, my voice icy. "Oh I want nothing from you. It's them who want you," he said, smirking. He grabbed another chair and sat in front of them. "Who?" I yelled.

"Well, some people," he said. I looked down at the floor until Pietro started to talk again. "You know you're pretty lame compared to the powers you have." "Excuse me?" I said angrily. Was he dumb? If he knew about my powers he would have known that I could do this: I burned through my ropes.

He continued, "Well you know, Goddess of Manipulation." He laughed. "You can't do anything."

"Is that so?" I asked. I stood up and flung the chair I was tied to to him. He looked shocked for a second before getting knocked out. "Didn't see that coming, did you?" Pietro was stupid for leaving my phone here. I quickly dialed Natasha. "Kaia?!" she responded immediately.

"Nat, it's Kaia, I'm trying to run away, but it's pretty impossible, I need you guys to come," I said, hiding behind some boxes that were in the room. "Ok, I've located you, we're coming right now," she said. I hung up and rested my head on the boxes.

My neck started to burn and heat up. "What the heck?" I touched my index finger and middle finger to my neck and saw that there was blood everywhere on my fingers. I immediately fished for a small scarf in my pocket. There should be one from my date with Bucky. I found it and wrapped it around my neck and waited behind the boxes.

My breath started to get heavier as the time passed and I could feel myself getting colder. After about 15 minutes I was shivering. I was tapping in and out of consciousness. I felt someone picking me up and when I opened my eyes I saw Bucky. I didn't really remember what happened when I woke up. I was in a van.

"I- I don't feel good," I said looking at Bucky. "I know doll, help is coming soon," Bucky replied, holding my hand. I didn't know what Pietro injected in me, but I would pay him back soon.

I woke up in what seemed like a hospital bed. My heart raced when I saw Bucky standing in front of me. When he saw me he came and gave me a hug."I was so scared doll," Bucky said, running his hands through my hair. I heard him silently whimpering. I hadn't imagined Bucky would be this scared.

"It's ok Buck," I said, pulling him closer. I palmed his cheeks together and pressed our forehead. I rubbed his back with my hand with a soothing gesture. I gently lifted his face and our eyes met. His eyes glistened even in the melancholy hospital light. His skin was silky smooth and his metal arm was sturdy and unyielding. He smelled faintly of orange and mint. I leaned in and our lips clashed in a yearning yet softly. Our mouths mixed together in a flurry of want and need. I gasped breathless but not pulling back. Bucky kissed me deeper and drew my head closer.

I saw a tall figure opening the door, but I didn't care. Steve coughed which made Bucky stop kissing me. "Hey Steve," Bucky said, going to give him a hug. "So you guys are together?" Steve asked, smiling. "Um no-" I lied. "It's fine I won't tell anyone Kaia,'' he reassured, laughing. He closed the door and walked toward us. "So we caught Pietro, but he's still brainwashed."

"Well what the heck are we going to do with him?" Bucky yelled angrily. "That's the problem, the only person that can help him 'recover' to say the least is Wanda, and you Kaia," Steve said. "Are you out of your mind?! He just tried to kill me!" I screamed which detached the cables that were on my skin. Steve warned, "Kaia sit down." When Bucky saw me, he looked at me and he tried to gently get me back to bed but I pushed his arms away. "He could have came for any of you guys. Look, are my brothers even here?! No, because they don't care, they'ree just like my father! If anything happened to them or you guys I would have immeditately came here." I started to sob.

"Kaia- Pietro was brainwashed by Hydra," Steve said with an angry face. I calmed down and sat back on the hospital bed. "I'm sorry Steve, but I can't right now," I said, wiping the tears from my eyes. Steve looked at Bucky, nodded and left.

"Don't worry Kaia," Bucky said, coming to lay down next to me with a smile on his face. He made me feel completely safe and I fell asleep. He kept tracing circles with his gentle touch around my back. When I woke up it was because of loud noises from the floor below. I put on some shoes and took Bucky's sweater and headed downstairs quietly while holding the flashlight on my phone.

I quietly headed down the stairs of the tower, since I didn't want to go on the elevator, I saw someone else with a flashlight heading dowstars. "Steve?" I asked. Steve quickly turned around where I could perfectly see his face due to the flashlight. "Kaia? What are you doing down here?" Steve asked, confused. "I heard some weird noises and decided to come down," I said whispering. "I heard the same noise, come let's go" Steve whispered.

I followed Steve into the basement where there was Pietro in a big glass box. Wanda was outside of the box looking at him. I felt bad for her, she had to see Pietro go crazy. I stood behind Steve putting on Bucky's hoodie. "Steve? Kaia-?" Tony asked, looking shocked. I ignored him and walked to Pietro. "Hi," I said. Tony pulled me back. "What do you think you're doing?!" he whispered.

"Getting him out of there!" I said, pushing his arm away.
