I woke up to the sun shining, making the snow around me shine like a million diamonds.

I ate the left over food from yesterday and took a walk to help take my mind off the visitors that I can't get out of my head.

Why did I hide?

Why couldn't I have been braver?

I know I'm trying to save myself from getting hurt but maybe it would have been okay if I at least said hello.

My mind said no but my heart says go for it!

Walking down the soft fresh snow and seeing the almost blinding light reflect off it I made up my mind.

If I ever see them again I will talk to them it's a made decision.

I walked back to where I first saw them and down sat by the tree.

I played with snow beneath me and rolled it in a ball.

I threw it at another tree and it broke off, I kept throwing them till I got bored.

I sighed and laid my head back on the trees rough bark.

I waited and waited, I didn't know how much time passed but it was starting to get dark.

Yawning I felt my heart sink, Why did I ever have hope?

It was suddenly already pitch black and I could hardly see, my only light was the moon.

I moved my hands around, touching the trees in front of me to find my way back to my cabin.

I never stayed out pass dark because I knew even with me living in the Blue forest for many years I could not find my way back if I couldn't  see.

Winter makes nights a lot darker and not even I could see through the night.

Still holding my arms out I felt something soft and warm.

Then a scream pierced my ears and I fell back scrambling behind a tree.

With the little light the moon was giving me I squinting my eyes to see two dark figures standing in the snow.

"What is it?!"

"I don't know but something touched me"

I knew those voices it sounded like Rosie and Gust.

A sudden light came out from one of them and it traveled around me passing the tree that's kept me hidden.

"Put the flashlight away Gust I think it's gone," I heard Rosie say.

I light went out and everything went still and quiet.

My emotions are tied with my powers so as I felt nervous and unsure what to do snow slowly fell from the sky.

"She's here I know it," said Gust, I heard him walking around because snow crunched under his feet.

My breathing quicken as I knew what I had to do next.

Hesitant I stoped myself from stepping out, 'I can't do it' I thought. But a sudden SNAP startled me and I tripped over a tree root. Fall right out from behind the tree.

They must have saw the outline of my figure because they both gasps and turned on their flashlight.
