Part 26

Recap.

"If Mr. Virat doesn't get bored of attending lectures then I'm cool with it." Princi said with a smile.

"Thank you, Princi." Virat and I said at the same time and chuckled at the coincident.

Virat's POV.

After we left the office, Shanaya took me to the backside garden.

"Why are we here?" I asked out of curiosity. Since last 5 minutes we were just standing there. Shanaya had been typing on phone for a long time.

"Why so curious?"She asked. Annoyance evident on her face.

"Because you've been typing on the phone for a really long time. I'm getting bored."I said making a face where my lower lip was over my upper ones and eyes reflecting the ones of puppies. I could see the bit of annoyance flying away from her eyes. A beautiful smile appeared on that ever so gorgeous face.

"I want you to meet my friends here. It's our usual thing to meet here an hour before the school starts. We talk about our plans for the day and everything. But I thought it might take a while to convince Princi to let you attend the Uni so I bought you here fifteen minutes early. But since it didn't even take five minutes for me to convince him, we have good 8 minutes to be here alone." She said making a calculator kinda face.

"Woah. I guess you top mathematics. So much of calculations. Like numbers all over your sentences." I said laughing softly.

"Topping Math is definately a task. An even bigger task when you directly enter the last year on Uni." She said.

"Atleast you get a chance to attend Uni. I didn't even get that."

"So do you regret not attending Uni?" She asked with a confused face where the eyebrow were almost touching each other.

"No. Not that I regret it. But you know it's always something inside me that wants to live a normal life of a student. Normal life. Sometimes I wish everything was like no different than any other 18 year old. Even you don't have that normal life. Don't you ever wish to have one?" I said walking towards the tree nearby and sitting against it.

"Depends on what's your defination of Normal." She said coming towards the tree.

"Normal in the way that you have not seen the worst in life. You are attending the Uni. You have too many friends. You have everything that a 18 year old has." I said.

"If you were normal today, then who will become the future best cricketer?" She said smiling and sitting in front of my legs.

"Thank you for your kind words but does that mean a normal student can't become the best cricketer?" I asked.

"I'll tell you a story Veer. A short one."She said keeping her hands behind her back and leaning backwards.

"A story? But-" She cut me off.

"Yes a story." She sighed before continuing.

"Once there was this guy who had many scars on his body. He even had a huge birthmark on his face. People at school made fun of him. They mocked at how ugly he was and how people should ignore him. With so much negativity, he had a major breakdown. Having no other option, his parents decided on homeschooling him. He made no friends. He was always into himself. As time passed, his interest in painting increased. He spent days and nights in a room, painting all sort of things. His parents thought he was depressed and needed aid. But he ensured them saying he is all okay. After the age of 18, he gathered courage and decided to step out of the house and live life to the fullest. People did mock but that didn't stop him from exploring the world. He travelled all parts of the world but had to stop at a point cause he didn't have sufficient money. Two days travelling the streets of South Africa. Spending time with kids. Then he decided to go back to his house. When he returned all he saw was his house completely burnt. When he asked the neighbours about it, he was told that there was a sudden explosion and the right side of his house was burnt completely. Left side wasn't burnt completely but a part of it was. When he asked about his parents, the neighbour said that there was nobody in the house. He was confused. He searched almost everywhere to find his parents.  But no sign. Atlast tired and devasted, he returned home. It was true almost everthing was burnt. Then he went to his art room. He saw his parents weeping. He hugged them. They said had it not been his non toxic paints and the quality of the wall even that room would have burnt. His Art had saved his parents and so he decided to make Art his everthing. Today he isn't known as the man who is world's one of the greatest Painter but the one who has many scars and is drop out from the school. That man owns this Uni. East Heart Univerity." She said pointing towards the Uni.

"Had he lived a normal life then, this Uni would never exist. Being different is definately a good thing. Veer you left your studies. You left them for what? For CRICKET. Cricket is something that reminds you of your father. Cricket is something that defines you. I have seen many successful cricketers in my short life. The zeal and passion in their eyes is nothing compared to ours. Your eyes have fire in them. They can make the impossible be done. You have the power and that's you. Being yourself. Don't have regrets. Try to find the positive in everything. Life will throw thousands of negativity but even when there is so much of negativity, try to find something positive. Trust me, life will be pretty much easy then." She said without breaking the eye contact for once.

Her words where so soothing. It felt so right to stay there. So much of negativity was removed from my body. I loved the way she can make me feel so much at once. Had it not been her, would life still be so beautiful? No. Never. She is my everything. She means a lot to me. I can't ever forget all the time I've spent with this angel. Damn.

Am I falling for her?

How was it people?

I think the story line is slow, is it? Or its okay?
