"I can imagine all your random talks." Jones hi-fied Leah and both were now laughing their asses off. Sue and Isha were too laughing.

I grabbed the pillows and started to throw them towards them.

Parker too joined me. And now we were all indulged into a fierce Pillow fight.

Virat's POV

I was shocked would be an understatement. When she told me that she might get into relationship just for fun made me feel bitter. I was upset to hear that. I think I'm expecting way too much from her. I need to calm down and not act like a Daddy to her. She is just a friend. Best friend. Nothing more. I surely need to control my feelings towards her. I hope I am successful in controlling my emotions around her.

"Vindy( Virat) you done with packing and stuff?" Elly (Danielle) asked.

"Almost, Elly." I replied.

"You seem in deep thinking, Vindy." She asked with her hands on her hips and a questioning look on her face.

"Yes I am. I am just thinking about Shanaya." I blurted still putting my clothes in my suitcase.

"Oh I see. Is my Vindy in love?" She asked beaming with excitement.

"Oh shut up, Elly. It's not like that. I mean I do love her but just as a friend. Best friend probably." I replied with my perfume and face wash in my hand. I was looking at her with an expressionless face. She smiled first but then that smile disappeared. A frown did appear then.

"Best friend. I see." She said.

I continued packing my bag and she sat on my bed helping to pack my belongings.

"Yeah. Best Friend." I replied dreaming about that beautiful face. A smile appeared on my face. I looked up to see Elly folding my T-shirts. She seemed to be in deep thinking.

"Elly. You okay?" I asked.

"You replaced me." She whispered in a soft voice. She must be thinking that I didn't listen but fortunately or unfortunately I did.

"Elly. What did you just say?" I said in a soft voice too. I dropped my belongings and went to her.

"You Elly will always be special to me. You like a sister to me, let alone best friend. Friends and Best friends come and go but a sister can never be replaced. You're special, Elly." I said sincerely and hugged her.

"Vindy, I'm sorry. I shouldn't be thinking like that but I don't know how and why did that even come in my head. Sorry." She said and hugged me tighter.

I soothed her back and pulled her closer.

"Shhh...shh...It's okay. You don't have to be sorry. It's good that you said it and I got to know what was going on in your little head and the misunderstanding is now cleared. Yeah?" I said loving.

We broke the hug and now she was smiling. That beautiful breath-taking smile. I smiled back.

"So everything is going according to the plan?" Elly asked with a mischievous smile playing on her lips.

"Yes. I am excited." I replied.

"I can see that." She said and laughed a bit.

We packed all the things that I required. It took us couple of hours to pack everything.

That was hell-a-task. Phew!

"Finally. Done." Elly said after checking for the final time.

"Yeah. Finally." I let out an exhausted sigh and jumped on the couch.

"Woah! Man you can't just slump on the couch. You have a flight to catch in another couple of hours. Better get ready now. We have to leave an hour early. So you have exactly 54 minutes to get ready." Elly said looking ever so intently at her wrist watch.

"Yeah. Let me rest for 5 minutes." I mumbled.

"No 5 minutes. Just get your ass up. Right now. You need to catch a flight Vindy." Elly yelled pulling me up from the couch.

"Okay fine I am going." I groaned.

I went ahead, took a short shower and changed my clothes. Grabbing all my things and making last moment check up, I left.

"I am coming with you to Airport." Elly said busy with her phone. Mostly talking to Danny.

"Like you have an option." Saying that I placed all my luggage in my car and headed to airport.

After reaching there and completing all the required work there, I bid Elly farewell. I didn't want to let her stay long because going back home late alone was something that I didn't want her to do. I hugged her for the last time and waved until she disappeared. I, then, joined my U-19 teammates.

After a long flight we finally reached South Africa.

Surprising much!? Yes. The U-19 world cup is held in South Africa and not Dubai. I didn't tell Shanaya this because I wanted to surprise her. This was something that I would discuss with Danny and soon we became great friends. I am very happy for Danny. He totally deserved to be a part of the National Team of South Africa.

It was 5 in the morning when we reached in South Africa.

We went to the hotel and rested for a while. I then went to our Coach as I wanted to ask for his permission to...

I knocked on Coach's door.

"Hey Virat. You here? Want something?" He asked in a sleepy tone. Oh! So I disturbed him.

"I am sorry to disturb you, Sir. I'll talk to you later." Saying that I was about to leave when Coach stopped me.

"No no no Virat. Come inside. We'll talk in there." He said with a smile.

I went inside and sat on the chair.

"Sir, I wanted to ask if I can stay with my friend in South Africa?" I asked a bit unsure of his reply.

"Why? Isn't this hotel comfortable?" He asked with squinted eyebrows.

"No Sir, It's not that. I wanted to stay with my friends. Just that." I simply said shrugging my shoulder.

"Practice and all need to managed Virat. And it's something against the protocol." Coach said in a duh tone.

"I know, Sir. But what if I come for practice regularly on time and interact with the team. I'll also be there for each and every meetings and team meets on time. I'll reach before time but I won't be late. I promise, Coach." I said quickly.

"Okay Virat. But you need to abide by everything that you just said." He said sternly.

"Sure thing, Coach. Thank you." I replied with a huge smile.

"That friend has to special. You don't smile everyday. Especially, in the past month." He said with a small smile.

"Yes sir. That friend is very special." Saying that I left his room and bid my teammates farewell. I took my bag and headed to Shanaya's place. Few next months are going to be exciting.

Thinking about all good good things I took a cab and reached at the address that Danny gave me.
