When she met Harry Potter at the age of five, playing by the swings, alone, she was drawn to the boy.

But she didn't know him as Harry Potter, the boy who lived.

She knew him as just Harry,
Her best friend.

The boy whose parents died and she wanted to be the shoulder he cried at.

They used to be thick as thieves.

Then came that summer when they were ten.

Her parents told her how she was adopted and
they were in hiding from some guy they referred to as-

She didn't know who he was but she went along with it.

Then came a letter from two schools by owl.

Her parents sent her to France for her magical studies, not trusting
Dumbledore to keep their little girl safe.

They were not family by blood but by love.

The same year, her best friend was sent to some 'boys hostel for troubled kids'

The children lost contact, just writing each other unsent letters to get them by their days.

Then came their fourth year when Abby had to go to Hogwarts for the Triwizard Tournament.

Imagine her surprise, to hear that her bestfriend happened to the Harry Potter noone ever seemed to shut up about!
