(Fire Opal's POV)

I wonder what's been going on with Aqua.. Lately, she's been getting called by Blue Diamond after that small war with the White Diamonds more often. It is only natural because she is Blue Diamond's favorite gem after all. And I'm nothing but a messenger and a sentry.

I've been waiting for Aquamarine for like an eternity outside of Blue Diamond's room. I have nothing to do but to count the thorny blue pillars of the castle over and over again. Some Pearls passed by me, looking at me like I'm crazy. I just bursted out a white light from my chest, summoning my pale white staff, where a small orange flame sat by on the tip and a yellow diamond on the other tip. I tapped it on the blue marbled floor. The Pearl guards widened their eyes and continued watching over the halls. I followed their gaze until they disappear to another route. I sighed.

Finally, Aquamarine emerged from the tall blue-- thorny-- door of Blue Diamond's. Her smile was unexpected. It was bright and cheerful-- an expression you couldn't see every more often in the castle.

"So?" I asked, my staff evaporating in white pixilated light. Aquamarine looked at me. Her ocean blue eyes shimmered.

"Lets go to the torture temple!" She yelled, grabbing a hold of my arm, racing towards the Galaxy Warp. I was surprised. What is she going to do there? Maybe-- maybe Blue Diamond ordered me to be tortured by Aquamarine? The Galaxy Warp floor lit a blinding white light, sending light rays up towards the ceiling. We were elevated and saw a laser of light pass by me. Once it did, the background and place changed. It was no longer a marble chiseled castle, it turned into a messy, stone temple where gems and ancient items are bubbled in separate blue bubbles. I reckon it's from Aquamarine.

"What are we going to do here?" I said ignorantly. Of course she's gonna torture me for being a bad gem. I thought of it. I've never been a bad gem in my entire life. I did my sentry duty well. But then, I gasped in realization. Maybe, Blue Diamond is ordering me to get tortured because I always sleep on sentry. I started to shake as Aquamarine walks closer to me. She started looking at me funny, though she sees me shuddering.

"What are you doing?" She asked sweetly. Oh I get the trick. I readied the feeling of war to summon my weapon. My shuddering got worse but Aquamarine just tapped her hand onto my shoulder. I jumped a bit, accidentally summoning my staff.

"What's that for?" She said without fear and shame. I widened my eyes.

"A-aren't you going t-to k-kill me n-now?" I stuttered, and shuddered at the same time. My heart is racing. I am ready for unexpected movements.

"Pssh. No! We're here to get slaves! Just as Blue said." Aquamarine said cheerfully.

Blue?

Blue?

Blue..?

Blue... Diamond?

"Blue?" I asked in confusion. Somehow, Aquamarine just flinched back and turned purple--again.

"I--uh.. Nevermind." She said, smiling to cover her ashamed face. I just fell quiet.

"Um.. You go pick one first." She announced. I blinked. Me? Picking a slave? What?

But I myself AM the slave. Blue Diamond is letting a slave.. to have a slave? This is some confusing stuff.

I just awkwardly walked away from Aquamarine and under the clouds of blue bubbles. I saw a circle blue gem, a yellowish gem and an orange gem. I recognized one. Topaz, the one who I've battled on the mini war a few days ago. And since there is a bad blood between us, I'm not gonna pick her.

I decided on this weird green gem with weird yellow borders. I grabbed it and went towards Aquamarine, giving her the puppy look.

When she saw the green gem, she kinda looked surprised. Her eyes widened and looked at me with the face that says 'are-you-sure-about-that?' I just nodded.

I immediately popped the blue bubble and the gem fell. We waited for a few moments and sure enough, it glowed a white light, elevating it to our eye level. the white light started to form, and gradually, we saw a green gem with its eyes closed. her other eye is covered by her shining green hair which is ponytailed by the side. When she opened her eyes, it was shimmering green. The light from her torso disappeared and revealed a green tee-shirt and long grass green pants, along with dark green combat boots. We both gasped.

"Man, she was an assassin the last time I saw her" Aquamarine said, crossing her arms. While I just dropped my jaws to the ground.

"W-White...?" Her eyes began to half close, but I think she realized we weren't the gems that she expected. She immediately uncovered her other eye and summoned a green bow. We gasped in surprise as her other 'eye' wasn't an eye at all. It was a pentagon shaped green gem with the yellow border on.

Me and Aqua summoned out our own weapons too. The green gem seemed tired and confused, but I just lowered my staff and held it on truce. I held Aquamarine's arm and held it down too. I looked at the green gem, and she seemed to understand as she held down her bow too.

"Um.. Hi!" I said, waving my hand. But Aqua just shoved me off and looked at the green gem.

"Who are you?" Aquamarine said with a tone so harsh. The gem just raised her bow in defense.

"I-I'm Emerald... right hand man of White Diamond's.. A-and who are you?" Emerald said, lowering her bow. Her voice was hardly a 'king's' right hand. More likely a trotting gem in the Crystal Meadows, who picks blue orchids for Blue Diamond.

"Don't question me like that, slave!" Aquamarine suddenly pushed Emerald to the ground. I gasped and aided her immediately. But she just shoved me away and stood up on her own.

"I don't need kindness from scums like the Blue Diamonds." Emerald growled. Lifting her bow, she released two arrows at Aqua. But Aqua is too good. She had dodged and broken the two arrows and raced in front of Emerald with her light blue sword on Emerald's neck.

"You dare to attack me like that? Listen here, slave. We're your masters now and you should do what we say or else Blue Diamond would immediately have to crack off your gem with just a single blow of his flail." Aqua threatened. I can see that Emerald is shaking with fear. But she had the nerve to talk back.

"White Diamond is my master, and only him I shall be bound to his orders." Emerald growled, clashing her bow with Aquamarine's sword.

"You are stubborn and reckless, aren't you?" Aquamarine spat back, turning around, en garde-ing with Emerald once again. It is very unusual for a gem to use her bow as a sword.

"I'll always be stubborn to cruel gems with the likes you!" Emerald said, blocking a huge blow from Aquamarine.

"Then say goodbye to your short freedom." Aqua said lastly before trapping Emerald in between her and sword, when suddenly, a white light shone around them.
