Taehyung's POV

I shouldn't have told Jungkook who I was gonna share my room with once we reach Los Angeles. Now he is saying that I and Soo Mi have some sort of wonderful chemistry and all that sappy stuff. Why can't he understand I don't see her in that light? When I told Kook, he said that I was being way too obvious and he was surprised she didn't guess it right away. 

Now he is lecturing me on the advantages and disadvantages of me and Petal sharing a room. She was the one who suggested it because we were supposed to spy on Yoongi hyung and Jimin. She said that if we share the room right next to Yoongi hyung's, we might be able to find something out. But this guy is being stubborn and is not even letting me talk. But to come back to the matter at hand.........

"......-you should be careful hyung, because no matter what, she is your best friend AND Yoongi hyung's sister, and if anything, ANYTHING AT ALL, happens, he might-" "Can you just shut up, Jungkook? How many times do I have to tell you to stop behaving like a matchmaker in some romance novel?" I cut him off, massaging my forehead. 

"Okay, then let's go downstairs. I'm all set. If you have any problem, come straight to me," he said, miming someone pushing his glasses further up his nose. I snorted and went downstairs with him.

When we got downstairs- sorry let me rephrase that; when I finally managed to drag Kook downstairs, everyone was already ready and waiting for us. Joonie hyung and Jin hyung were bickering like an old married couple, Hobi hyung was getting started on his vacation stash of Sprite, and Yoongi hyung and Jimin were silent, as expected. 

Then I saw her; her hair, dyed a dark brown, cascaded down her shoulders, and her dark brown eyes stared up at me with a warm light in them.

I froze for a moment, thinking about all the stupid things Jungkook had filled my head with and then ran straight up to her. 

"Baby bear!" I exclaimed as I hugged her. "We just saw each other like about 10 minutes ago Tae. You are being dramatic," she laughed as she pushed me away. I pouted, and she pinched my cheeks lightly, laughing.

I saw Kook smirking out of the corner of my eye. I rolled my eyes at him when she turned to talk to Rapmon hyung. He just smirked back at me. I turned back to the others and when the staff arrived to pick us, we left for the airport.

Jungkook had made sure that mine and Petal's seats were placed close together on the plane. A few minutes after the takeoff, she fell asleep on my shoulder and when the others noticed, they looked at me with mischievous smirks. I could feel a blush rising to my cheeks as I raised an eyebrow with great difficulty at them.

"Oh hyung's blushing!"Kook exclaimed while high-fiving Jimin, who didn't look as enthusiastic after Yoongi hyung stared at him for a moment too long. Whatever the problem is, I hope they resolve it soon. They're better when they are smiling (even though Yoongi hyung might be plotting my sad demise in his head). 

When I finally came back to my senses, I told them to shut up because she was sleeping, and they cooed all the more, Jinnie hyung preaching about young love and all that stuff. When they finally shut up, I got up to move to another seat so that they couldn't tease me anymore, but Petal held on to my arm as if it was her last hope. Even Yoongi hyung 'awww'ed at that. I am too tired to argue, so I'm gonna fall asleep till we reach LA. Adios reader!

We're here. It's a bit cloudy but LA's still beautiful. By the time we reached the hotel we were supposed to stay in, Petal was fully awake and tapping furiously on her phone. Probably texting Haewon noona, I thought. Suddenly she let out a frustrated sigh and threw the phone back into her bag. "This unnie!" she muttered under her breath.

"What happened, Soo Mi-ah?"I enquired. She didn't look up from the ground as she replied, "Aargh, Haewon unnie is saying that you-" 

She suddenly looked up with wide eyes as if she had just realized who she was talking to, a rosy blush stealing over features. "N-nothing, Tae, it-it's nothing. Unnie's being unnie," she laughed nervously, so I immediately knew something was up. But I didn't press further because I knew that being her best friend didn't give me the authority to know her every secret and question her based on them. 

Our rooms were this way; a common hall for all of us, with all the rooms located around it. Two rooms, that is, room 1 shared by Kook and Hobi hyung and room 2 shared by Jin hyung and RM hyung, were situated on the left side of the hall, and the other two rooms, that is, room 3 shared by me and Petal and room 4 by Yoongi hyung and Jimin. As I already mentioned, we chose room 3 because we wanted to spy on Yoongi hyung and Jimin.

We decided to sleep as soon as we reached the rooms as everyone was pretty tired and there was a long day ahead of us tomorrow. Even though she slept on the plane, Petal was still sleepy. So we slept immediately after, me wishing Tani was here with us.

I woke up around midnight to some noises in the next room. I immediately started to wake Soo Mi. "Baby bear, wake up! I think something's happening in Yoongi hyung's room!" I whisper-yelled at a groggy-looking Petal, who instantly started listening in.

"Chim, just give me a chance! At least let me tell you what I have in mind!" Yoongi hyung was trying to keep his voice from rising so as not to wake up the others, including ourselves.

"I said I don't WANT to talk to you, hyung! I don't want this to spoil our friendship, or get in the way of our career, so, please just go to sleep," Jiminie's voice was tired and almost pleading. 

What was the thing to spoil their friendship? When I looked at Petal, she had an eyebrow quirked at probably the same question in my head.

"Jimin-ah, I'm-I l-", Yoongi hyung was cut off when Jimin almost shouted, "Don't you dare say 'I love you' to me! I know you don't care! So please! Please let me be! Please!" These words let us know that Chim was almost in tears by the end of the conversation. 

The realization that dawned on me almost knocked the air out of my chest.

There was silence in their room after that. I turned to look at Petal and saw that she had the same expression as me; dumbfounded. For a few minutes, we just sat there thinking and rethinking their words. Finally, Petal broke the silence, "They were together?"
