Taehyung's POV

"I want us to take a break, Jimin," Yoongi hyung started, causing everyone to turn to him.

We were all seated in the living room, waiting for Minji noona, Haewon noona, and Sarang to arrive. Mi had organized a small get-together for the entire group before we got busy with the comebacks for the Love Yourself: Her album. Nothing much, just us talking and playing games (probably truth or dare) and stuff like that.

"What do you mean you want to take a break?" Jiminie asked, voice quiet, and, even though he tried to hide them, tears pooling in his eyes.

I turned to Petal, who looked equally surprised and slightly angered at the sudden admission. I noticed her harshly biting down on her bottom lip, and I gently took hold of her hand to calm her down. She looked at me, offering a slight smile before turning back to the situation.

"Did I do something, hyung?" Jimin broke the awkward silence that ensued from Yoongi hyung not answering his question but just fidgeting with his fingers.

The said guy looked up at the question before mumbling, "I don't think 'us' is working out, Jimin. That's why I-"

He was interrupted by Jiminie, who started sobbing into his hands. Mi immediately rushed to his side, wrapping her arms around him.

I looked back at Yoongi hyung, only to see a small smile breaking out across his features. That was when I noticed the rest of the hyung line who were silent throughout the issue was smiling as well.

I locked eyes with Kookie, who was looking as flabbergasted as me, before coming to a realization.

It was a prank.

Jimin had been torturing each and every one of us, especially Yoongi hyung, with his pranks for the past one month. Maybe the latter had decided to prank back.

Yoongi hyung stood up and sat down next to where Jimin was sitting and pulled him into a hug, and Petal, who was still unaware, glared daggers at him before spitting out, "Hands off, Min."

Hyung chuckled a bit, "Whoa there, kid. I was just pranking Jiminie! I didn't think he would melt this fast but-"

"I hate you Min Yoongi!" Jimin, still sobbing, started hitting the said guy who just laughed again and wrapped his arms around the younger.

"You guys are so yuck!" exclaimed Jungkook, lip curling in playful distaste.

"I know right?" Soo Mi asked, mirroring the maknae's facial expression.

"And besides," Hobi hyung started, "Yoongi hyung loves Jimin too much to let him go. According to me, the ones we love are worth fighting for. We shouldn't just let go."

When I turned to Mi, she had a thoughtful expression on her face, "Yeah, you're right."
Before she could say anything else, the doorbell started ringing.

Her face lightened up immediately, causing me to smile as well, "That must Minji unnie!"

The usual chaos ensued as the two youngest rushed to the door to see who got to greet noona and, preferably, Soo Youngie, first. After some messing around, the trio entered, the chaotic duo pouting.

"Tae!" She whined as she sat down next to me, "Unnie didn't bring the baby!" I mentally cooed before ruffling her hair softly.

I turned to Kook, "Koo, you can call Sarang and let her know noona is here." He nodded and headed to another room with his phone.

When he returned, he looked angry. Like, extremely angry.

Petal, who noticed as well, asked, "What's up, Kook?"

He let out an angry exhale, "She asked if she could bring Seungmin, noona! What, can't she go anywhere without him? What's so important here that she needs to bring him? She said that she and Haewon noona were almost here but could just call her Seungminnie up!"

Jin hyung sighed, "What did you say?"

He rolled his eyes, "I said that if she wanted to bring him along wherever she went, she could call a get-together with just the both of them and that I would walk out if he entered this dorm."

The rest of us just gaped at him for a few seconds before erupting into a series of 'what the hell Jungkook's.

"You don't just say that to someone Kook!" Hobi hyung exclaimed.

Minji noona continued, "Especially Sarang. Oh my god, she's so gonna kick your ass today!"

As if on cue, the aforementioned duo entered, Sarang looking mad.

Uh oh.

She turned slightly in Jungkook's direction before rolling her eyes, "Don't worry. He isn't coming. I called Seungmin and told him everything a certain someone had said and that poor gentleman of a guy said he couldn't come anyways because of a non-existing practice session at the company. I hope everyone's satisfied."

Jungkook being the arrogant idiot he is sighed in relief, "Thank God!"

As soon as she noticed Sarang turning to him at the speed of light with a don't-mess-with-me-you-fricking-jerk expression on her face, Haewon noona announced, "I bring news, guys!"

This caught our attention, and everyone turned towards her.

She inhaled proudly before announcing, "Two new boys, Choi Beomgyu and Jung Kai or Huening Kai, joined the trainees, and they, along with Taehyun, Soobin and Yeonjun are gonna debut as a new group!"

All of us gasped before applauding, except for Petal.

"Taehyun told me like, 2 weeks ago," she said in a 'meh' tone.

We turned to her, surprised, and I asked, "I feel betrayed, bear! Why didn't you tell us?"

She chuckled at the pout on my face before replying, "You didn't ask me anything about the babies after the Hanbin issue, TaeTae."

Ooh right. The Hanbin issue had almost ended badly, with the guy barely escaping from Petal trying to smash his face when he said that BTS was supporting the trainees only for more popularity. The proceedings for him to be fired from the company are going on at the moment.

Haewon noona narrowed her eyes at Petal, "I don't believe you. You could be just pretending that you knew all along."

Petal was about to retort when the doorbell rang, and Jin hyung got up to usher whoever it was in.

We were all surprised to see the person standing in the middle of the room with us now, but the girls started welcoming him and making him feel at home almost instantly.

Seungmin.

I almost burst out laughing when I heard Jungkook mutter under his breath,

"Poor gentleman of a guy my foot."
