Winter POV
I don't understand Addie's taste in music! While we were having that music fight, I actually thought about joining the other team! I can't leave Addie in the dust! That would just be rude!
I was looking at a photo album May and I made a couple summers ago. The good old days.
There was a picture of us jumping in the pool while holding hands. The good old days.
I turned the page and found another picture, of us at the beach when we were 7, and we first tried surfing. Our boards were next to each other and we were both standing up. That was one of the best days of my life. I sighed.
I got out of my bed and showered. Time to start a new day.

Worst day of my life.
When I got to school, Abby ran into me.
"Hey Winter. You seem, cold today." she said in a snobby voice.
"Excuse me?"
"Look, I know you and May used to be best friends and all but she's mine now. She doesn't need you anymore." she tried saying as sweetly as possible.
"Oh? Did she tell you that?" I responded not really knowing what I was getting myself into. She smirked at me.
"She doesn't have to." Then she sashayed away.
Then, May walked up out of nowhere and whispered in my ear,"Nice knowing you, Erica."
Then she caught up with Abby.
