Happy Days

Thursday, March 2nd, 2017

I had a normal day in school with two tests.
I played The Aetherlight, which is an online Christian based game. I also watched the first season of Happy Days.

Happy birthday to Rebel Wilson.

Once when Jacob was cooking some stew, Esau came in from the open country, famished. He said to Jacob, “Quick, let me have some of that red stew! I’m famished!” (That is why he was also called Edom.) Jacob replied, “First sell me your birthright.” “Look, I am about to die,” Esau said. “What good is the birthright to me?”
– Genesis 25:29-32 (NIV)
The urgency of Esau’s hunger caused him to lose sight of the importance of his birthright. Tears of regret would flow later, but Esau could not restore what he had given away in a fit of passion. This story is important to us as well, for we can suffer terrible loss when we allow our primal passions to rule over our life. God has given us the birthright of being a people who would walk with God and hear His voice. Are we willing to deny our hunger and suffer temporarily in order to be blessed for the long term?" -Dave Whitehead

The song of the day is Every Time We Touch by Cascada Meets Metal by 331Erock. If you have a song suggestion I will give you a shoutout.

If you have any prayer requests please share. I would love to pray for you. Soar on, Eagle Army!
