‘And you’re an ass, we all have our endearing qualities’ Trying to smirk in wolf form just looks incredible stupid. But that never stopped me before. Growling dangerously at my disrespect, I could only huff. As if you scare me. Maybe its because I’ve grown up pack less, that I never feared what I should. Or maybe I was tired of giving two shits. Either way I liked how no one had any real effect over me.

    ‘For once could you stop being a bitch?’ Snapping his jaw at me. That was new, I’ve been called a few things…but never a bitch. For once I was speechless, and I kept it that way. When he realized I wasn’t going to say anymore, he continued.

    ‘You are not living in my house because its fun for me to keep you away from your life. You are here because Cain will stop at nothing to have you in his pack. And he doesn’t understand what a female means to a pack, he treats them….like shit.’ looking away at me before finishing the last part. Still keeping quiet, he seemed to appreciate it and continued.

‘It would be best for you to either quit your job, or take a very long vacation. At least till we can find a way to get Cain off you’ I wanted to laugh. Males are to stupid to give up, and if females are worth what I was told they were, then Cain would have to die. Either that or be banded, from entering Salim land. I setting for looking away from him, he caught it and sighed.

    ‘I know you don’t want to, but it would be best.’ I couldn’t help myself, he’s lucky my tongue held for this long.

    ‘ Oh so I wont get shot again, cause someone can’t mind their own business?’ He growled, standing up and towering over me.

    ‘Damn it Edon, what do you want from me?’

    “A sorry would be a good start’ Rolling my large round eyes.

    ‘Sorry?…..for what?’

Oh my god is he dense….

    ‘How about taking my stuff without asking me, or kidnapping me, or turning my family against me, or we could go with….’ he stopped me.

    ‘Okay I get it’ Huffing. I waited for his apologue, but scoffed when it never came.

    ‘Forgot Alpha’s have big egos, an apologue isn’t in your vocabulary.’ Getting up I turned around. Weather he was done or not, I wasn’t talking anymore. g He stops me using only his words.

    ‘Edon’ Stopping I look over my shoulder.

    ‘I never meant for this to happen, at least not like this’ He’s telling the truth, that much I know for sure. But still he could of handled it better.

    ‘A little late, don’t you think Alpha?’ Turning back around before he can answer me. Making good time back to the house, I shift tossing my clothes on. Walking inside. Making my way to the room I now get to call mine, closing the door and locking it. I don’t trust anyone in this damn house. Flopping on the bed, I hate it here. No matter how blissful this bed is….and its quiet blissful.

    Willing my eyes to close, I drift back to sleep. Praying I don’t have anymore crazy dreams.

Morning always comes to dam fast for my likening. Sounds of people running around, and growling as I start to wake up faster. Jumping off the bed and opening my door, just as the Beta goes rushing past me. He slides to a stop, looking at me like I shouldn’t be in this room.

    “Edon?”

    “Yea?”

    “You need to get downstairs, and now” Going to grab me.

    “Why?” Stepping back.

    “Its not safe.”

    “You didn’t answer the first question” Taking another step back. He growls reaching for me. It comes to a halt when he hears a painful howl from another pack member. Turning pale, he closes my door and his footsteps trail away.

    “What the hell?” Stripping out of my clothes and changing into a clean pair of jeans and a black lace tank. Taking a quick look out my window, the sight of a wolves all over the back yard. Cain standing proud of his pack, as Salim and his pack guarded the door inside.

    “Well now” Grinning. Moving to the closet and pulling out my big boy toy.

    “She who has the biggest gun wins…right” Chuckling as I clicked off the safety and made sure it was loaded. Pushing the window open, I carefully walked out. Moving slowly as they still hadn’t noticed me. Moving over the top of a window ledge, startling the V frame. Resting the gun on my shoulder, pointing at Cain. Hearing them was no hard feat.

    “Get off my land Cain” Salim growled, pointing his finger.

    “Make me Brother” Well now that makes perfect sense. There both stupid.

    “I wont give you another warning Cain” Snapping his words. Pushing his power around.

    “Give me what’s mine and I’ll gladly leave.” Taking a dangerous step to Salim. Something in me snapped. Don’t get me wrong I don’t like the Alpha, but if anyone was going to fuck with him, it was going to be me. Letting a round slam in to the ground right before his foot stepped down.

    “Take another step I dare you” Keeping my eye in the scoop.

    “Edon” Salim looking up at the roof.

    “Woman you belong to me” Cain growled. I laughed heavily.

    “You’re a fucktard aren’t you? You know what better yet don’t answer that. Stupid can’t comprehend big words” Shifting the gun in my arms. He sent a roar out, and it wathey were brothers. He didn’t like my disrespect either, however his brother Salim had a better sense to not fuck with me to much.

    “I will have that pretty little mouth wrapped around my co…”

    “Suck yourself off douche” Peppering the ground with bullets. He and his pack jumped back, making the distance from Salim’s pack a good ten feet more.

    “You little bitch.” Snarling.

    “Aww did the wittle male shit his panties?” Turning my voice into a mocking child’s. Cain turned to Salim.

    “How can you tolerate her blatant disrespect?”  Pointing at me. Salim smiled and turned to look at me while he answered.

    “I find her refreshing, don’t you think so brother?” Chuckling.

Seriously is he complementing me, at a time like this. Weird ass Alpha.

    “I’ll be back Salim, mock my words”

    “Hey I’ll mock something for yea.” As he turned around, I fired a round straight into his ass cheek. A yelp sounding more like a girl, rang out. He glared at me, holding his butt cheek.

    “You’ll pay for that”

    “Aww go get yourself a doughnut seat, I hear they do wonders” Salim’s pack chuckling or just full fledge laughing as the Alpha limped away. Salim had looked at his brother when I had shot him, but now was holding my eyes. Smiling a million watt smile, my face felt heated. Getting up I crawled back into my window, closing the window. My door opened and Salim closed it behind him. I had just put my gun down, leaning it up against the closet door.

    Grabbing my hand pulling me into his chest, pushing a light kiss over my lips. Stifling a moan as it tasted so much better then in the dream. Stopping a little sooner then I would of liked to admit, he chuckles.

    “That was so freaking hot” Kissing me again.

Wow what? Did he just say me shooting his brother in the ass was hot? Something is clearly wrong with this family.

Pulling away from him, I have to know what the hell he thinks he’s doing.

    “Alpha what are you doing?” Wiping my lips. As if he was completely surprised that he had kissed me twice, he takes a step back.

    “I am so….” Stopping before the word comes out. Alpha’s never say their sorry. Its shown as a side of weakness.

    “I was just curious is all” Shrugging, it really wasn’t that bad. And I’m not a complete dick that I would make a guy feel like he had to say sorry for kissing me.

    “Edon….can….can I take you out?” His face blushed for all of a second, before controlling himself.

    “Like a date?” Cocking my head like a puppy.

    “Aww, yea like a date” Rubbing his arm.

    “Ummm” Thinking it over. You could see he was freaking out, even if he wouldn’t admit it. Sighing, I sorta felt a little bad, for calling him all those horrible names.

    “Sure why not” Nodding. His face went sad, before he realized I said yes.

    “Really? Great be ready at 5” Smiling.

Its 4:30 and in the heat of things, I have spent most of the day in my so called room. Why you ask? Ohh I don’t know….CAUSE MY STUPID ASS SAID YES TO A DATE TO AN ALPHA! Mentally freaking out, if you hadn’t noticed. No I don’t completely hate the guy, and no he isn’t fugly. But he’s still an Alpha, and a wolf. I don’t need him getting the wrong idea, and thinking I’m all goo goo for him.

    Cause I Ain’t. 4:31...aww just great. A knock at my door had my body jumping clear off the bed, like some startled cat.

    “What?” Feeling overly annoyed now. The door opened a crack as a small blue haired female looked in. She was considerably smaller then me, with stunning blue eyes.

    “H..Hi” She whispered, afraid I would snap at her again.

    “Oh hi” Letting my legs dangle over the bed. Her unforced smile showed brilliant white teeth, as she pushed the door open a little more.

    “Your Edon..right?” Blushing as it was a pretty self explanatory answer.

    “Yes” Trying not to make her feel worse.

    “I’m Lily” Lily in all her blue glory took a small step forward.

    “You live here?” Now my turn to feel stupid.

    “Yup” Popping her P.

For some unknown reason, I was kind of liking her complain. Rocking on her heels with hands placed behind her, she looked no more then in her teens.

    “Close the door would yea” Her face grew sad, as she nodded and started to leave.

    “I didn’t say you had to leave” Her abrupt stop, only to smile brightly again. The door closed and she stood in the middle of the room.

    “Do I frighten you?” She paled once more, holding her fingers apart. As if to say a little. Laughing cause I didn’t consider myself to be scary.

    “Sorry. Its all very new for me here.”  Unlike Alpha’s the word Sorry wasn’t something I left out of my vocabulary. But I didn’t just throw it around like the “love” Word either.

    “I heard you lived down the hill, with your mother and a vampire” She was fully interested in John, anyone could see that. It crossed my mind, that she may have never seen a vampire before. It wasn’t like they lived in the country, not a lot of people. Plus small towns knew everyone.

    “Yes” Nodding, as I leaned against the post of the bed. She took a few more steps before noticing my guns.

    “You use those?” Pointing to the weapon I had shot in Cain’s bee hind.

    “Yes” Looking at the wonderful, I had bought myself as a birthday present.

    “That’s really cool” Her overly chipper voice giggled, as she again came closer. It was as though she was testing the waters in which were me.

    “I wont bite, well I will but only if you try to mark me” The words replayed in her head, before she started laughing.

    “Your not my type, plus I have a mate” Crossing the rest of the distance, before bouncing on the bed next to me.

    “Well gee thanks…I think” Chuckling.

“Your really pretty” My laughter stopped, as I gave her a warm look. Been a while since someone’s called me pretty.

    “Your quiet stunning yourself, what’s with the blue hair” Taking a better look at the royal blue curls.

    “I did it to piss him off” Her lips pursed, as she crinkled her nose.

    “Piss who off?”

    “My mate” I nodded, well hell what ever floats your boat.

    “What’d he do, if you don’t mind me asking.” She sighing.

    “He wouldn’t let me go to a party. He’s such a stick in the mud”

    “Where does he fall on the scale?”

    “Warrior” I nodded, makes sense.

    “Yea I can see that”

    “Its stupid, he fucks around all the time” Folding her arms like a child.

    “Please tell me you mean going to parties and not other woman?”

    “Ohh yea that came out wrong, no he’s loyal as all hell. But he goes to his own parties, never once bringing me.” You can see she was beyond mad about this, and hurt to say the least. Probably thought he was a shamed of her. Couldn’t see why, she had a bubbly personality…was cute looking. Hell if I was a guy I’d show her off. Men are stupid.
