Y/N: So I guess I'm heading back to Applebee's. I didn't get to have my food the last time I was there.

Kenny: Hey, Y/N, you mind if we have a little chat at Applebee's? Just us, we can leave the Gatlians here with the others. I just want to talk to you in private.

Y/N: Uh, sure.

Y/N put the Gatlians on the couch next to Gene and they are glad they have the chance to relax.

Gus: Ahhh. sure, we can use a little break. It's nice to stretch out a bit. Enjoy Applebees you two.

Sweezy: Change the channel, Gene, to porn.

Creature: Have a good time you two! We'll hold down the fort!

Unkown to anyone, Lucy was watching them and noticed Kenny acting suspicious as well. Y/N opens a portal with his warp device and goes through. But Lucy activates her invisibility and goes through as well without anyone noticing. Y/N and Kenny get a table and sit down while Lucy sits in the table behind them. Y/N and Kenny are too focused on talking to each other to notice Lucy sitting behind them.

Kenny: Okay, sorry for leaving the other Gatlians behind. But there's something I've been needing to get off my chest. I'm going to tell everyone else, I promise, but would you mind if I told you first?

Y/N: Sure.

Kenny: Thank you. This has already been weighing me down for so long. Okay, os you remember what happend to my home planet, Gatlus? It got taken over by the G3, like yours. Y'know, all my people got enslaved. Y-you remember that, right?

Y/N: Yes, I do.

Kenny: Well, what if it was kind of, y'know, just a little, tiny bit entirely my fault.

Y/N: Kenny, what the hell did you do?

Kenny: Look, I'm not the only reason the G3 invaded Gatlus. I'm just the only reason they even knew about it in the first place.

A waiter appears and is ready to take out order.

Waiter: Hey there, welcome to Applebee's. I'm going to be your waiter for the day. Can I get you started with one of our signature cocktails?

Kenny: Uh, not, not now please. W-were kinda busy here.

Y/N: Long Island Ice Tea, please.

Waiter: Okay, sure thing. I'm gonna go ahead and get that in for ya.

Kenny: Uh, thank you! Okay, let me explain. Gatlus was isolated on the far edge of an astroid belt. We were completely untouched by the greater interstellar civilization, just like your planet. But, y'know, I-I wanted out, like, I wanted to see... the galaxy! I wanted to see what everything had to offer. That's when Rel Delmar crashed his ship into our planet. He was this crazy smuggler. He'd been all over and seen it all.

Y/N: He wouldn't happen to be that alien I first found on during the G3 invasion, would he?

Kenny: Look, I wasn't always his prisoner. After I helped him fix his ship, he wanted me to be a part of his crew, y'know, and he took me with him!

Y/N: And you ended up with an inhibitor chip that I had to pull from you.

The waiter comes back with Y/N's drink and places it in front of him.

Waiter: And I'm back. Here we go, this is for you! Alright, now what were you thinkin' for an appetizer?

Kenny: Uh, I'm sorry, we're in the middle of something, please...

Y/N: Crispy Boneless wings.

Waiter: Great! It's comin' right up!

Kenny: Okay, back on topic. Obviously a guy like Rel had to deal with all kinds of shady customers.

Y/N: You said it yourself Kenny, he's a crazy smuggler. Literally all of them deal with shady customers. You don't smuggle things that are legal.

Y/N takes a sip of his Long Island Ice Tea and swallows it even though he's not used to the achololic taste.

Kenny: I know. And that led us to the G3. And Garmantuous, he'd never seen an alien like me, y'know, a talking gun with endless firepower. Look, at the time I couldn't tell i was being taken advantage of. I was going nowhere. No, everyone thought I was a fuck up. I wasn't like you, an above average guy with some amount of fame and a loving sister that sticks with you no matter what. I just wanted to prove that I could do something. But I see how stupid it was of me to do that. I really do.

The waiter returns and places the boneless wings in fornt of Y/N.

Waiter: Open up! Here comes the appetizer train! Chugga-chugga, chugga-chugga, chugga-chugga, choo choo!

Kenny: Thank you. I hope you like those.

Waiter: Now you better be ready to order that main course!

Y/N: Pepper Crusted Sirloin, please.

Waiter: You betcha! I'm going to get that order right to the cook.

Y/N starts eating the boneless chicken wings.

Kenny: Okay, thank you. So, I led the G3 right to Gatlus. We fought them off at first, but they came back with some supervirus that damn near zombified everyone. A few of us were immune though. We formed a rebellion. It was led by Lezduit. He was my best friend, my mentor. He was one of the strongest Gatlians who ever lived and I... I got him killed! In his dying moments, I told him everything, like I'm telling you now. About how I left Gatlus to pal around with a space criminal, how I led Garmantuous and the G3 to our planet, how I got everyone killed!

Lucy heard everything and is surprised at what Kenny confessed to her boyfriend.

Kenny: Except Lezduit survived... somehow. The G3 musta kep him alive to try and utilize his power. God, if we can really bring him back... d-do you see my problem? I'm going to have to tell the other guns what I did or else he'll tell them!

The Waiter comes back and puts the main course in front of Y/N.

Waiter: Alright, I'm back. Hope those tummies are ready for some yummies... bon appetit!

Kenny: Dude, take a hint... you know what, it's pointless.

The waiter leaves and Y/N eats his Sirloin.

Y/N: You gotta tell them the truth. or they won't trust you at all when Lezduit does.

Kenny: I know.

They hear walking and assume it's the waiter again.

Y/N: Oh, need a tip?

They see it's actually tweeg pointing a blaster at him.

Tweeg: Actually, I need you to come with me.

Back at Home

Yuri is halfway finished with writing her book. She drinks a can of soda and stretches her body.

Yuri: I'm halfway done. Just have to do a few more chapters and it will be complete. I wonder what Gene is doing.

Yuri leave her room and sits down on a chair. Gene changes the TV to a channel showing human movies.

Yuri: Hey Gene, watcha doing?

Gene: Oh, since your brother is becoming pretty famous, I thought it be best to capitalize his growing reputation. So I made some commercials to drum up business.

Yuri: You didn't put the location of our house did you, cause from what you told me, the G3 watches every ad and TV channel.

Gene: ... Oh, Fuck!

Sweezy: Gene, you dumbass!

Gus: We're about to have company.

Gene: Yuri, arm yourself. It's going to get pretty ugly.

Yuri nods and picks up creature. Unfortunately, when she puts her hand in Creature's trigger hole, she is disgusted by the feeling of putting him on her arm.

Yuri: UUUUUUGGGGHHHHH, this is not a pleasant feeling.

Creature: Sorry, I'm pretty sure I wasn't like this before the G3 experimented on me and wiped my memories.

The bounty 5K opens and a Merk comes through. Yuri panics and fires creature's children on him. They eat the Merk alive.

Merk: AAAAAAAHHHHHH! You killed me! You killed me!.

Yuri: What have I done?!

Merk: I just told you, you killed me.

Gene presses a button on the remote and turns off the Bounty 5K.

Gene: Shut down access to the portal door. Unfortunately, your bother won't be able to enter the house through there. Try to hold out until he gets back. And where the fuck is Lucy?!

Space Applebee's

Y/N: Tweeg, what the fuck are you doing?

Tweeg: Oh, after the G3 put a reward for finding stray humans and for findin the bounty hunter fucking up their entire operations. I figured I'd get a double payment. Ain't that right Lucy? Wait Lucy?!

Lucy pulls out her blaster and shoots Tweeg's face off.

Y/N: Lucy. You saved my ass.

Kenny: Did you hear all that?

Lucy: Yes, but let's get back to the house.

Lucy grabs Y/N's hand and pulls him away, but he leaves a bunch of Pesos on the table to pay for the food. Y/N tries to activate the code on his warp device but it's not working.

Y/N: What the hell?!

Scarlet: The Bounty 5K is offline.

Kenny: Oh great, I was so focused on telling Y/N the truth that I forgot that you were with us.

Multiple G3 Warp Bases appear all over the city and the soldiers begin hunting for Y/N. He gets a message from Gene who explains that he made commercials that have the location of our house in them. He ends the message by telling them to come home fast.

Y/N: Dammit Gene!

Lucy: I'm going to kill him for real this time!

Y/N and Lucy race through the city and go through every G3 soldier that gets in our way. Scarlet tracks that they are just 5 blocks away from the house.

Kenny: Come on, keep up the pace! We have to get back to the house!

Knifey: That'sright, let's go! We've gotta hurry! Oh, yeah, I've been here the whole time, but don't worry, I'll keep your secret safe, I'm not a snitch.

They arrive at the house to see G3 soldiers and warp bases are converging on it. Y/N and Lucy open the door and gun down the G3 that got into the house.

Sweezy: Finally, you took your time, although that's what we should've expected with the door shut down.

Gene: Thank's for coming back for us. Yuri needed it, but I ... didn't deserve your help.

Kenny: it's not your fault. Well, no, y'know, fuck that! It is your fault! You fucked up enormously, but we'll focus on that later, can you please fire up the warp core? We're leaving!

Gene: Got it.

Y/N grabs the Gatlians and return them to his possession.

Sweezy: What's the plan?

Gene: Yeah. The warp's ready but... where can we go that the G3 won't follow?

Kenny: I'll handle that. Can you scramble the warp once we activate it.

Gene: Sure can

Y/N: Yuri activate the Warp Core.

Yuri: How do I do that?

Kenny: Just hit it until it turns on.

Yuri: O-okay.

Yuri runs into the kitchen and hits the Warp Core until it turns on.

Yuri: It's on!

Kenny gives Gene coordinates and Gene activates the Warp, sending the house away from the G3. The warp finishes and the house lands somewhere.

Gene: Fuck! That was close. I may be 230, but... I don't want to die yet.

Kenny: Did we make it.

Gene: Yeah... We're safe... Nobody on our tail, but uh... where are we? Am I missing something? I'm not picking up any signs of life out there.

Lucy: No signs of life?

Kenny: Then we're in the right spot.

Gus: Kenny, where did you just take us?

Kenny: It was the only safe place I could think of.

Gene: Careful! It's toxic out there. I set up and AtmosBubble so you can breathe, so don't wander too far.

Y/N walk to the front with Lucy and Yuri behind him. He opens the door and sees a ruined city shrouded in purple toxic mist. It's a total wasteland.

Lucy: Oh my god!

Yuri: Holy...

Kenny: Welcome to Gatlus... my home planet.

Gus: Jesus, I didn't realize it was this bad...

Sweezy: Fuck, there's nothin' left...

Creature: This was our home?

Kenny: Yes it was, Creature. And pretty soon Earth is going to look like this too.

Gus: We have got to stop the G3... bitch!

Y/N and the others go back inside the house. Yuri and Lucy go to their rooms and Y/N goes to the living room.

Gene: How is it out there?

Kenny: W-we don't want to talk about it.

Gene: That bad, huh? We'll it's been a very long night, why don't you all get some shut eye. We got one more bounty to kill before we can take the fight to Garmantuous. I'll take care of things around here.

Kenny: I hate to say it, but Gene's right. Let's get some shut-eye, we'll make this right starting tomorrow.

Y/N: Okay.

Y/N goes to his room and puts the Gatlians in their compartments in his closet along with Knifey. He takes off his bounty hunting suit and hangs it up before putting Scarlet to charge.

Scarlet: I could use a power down. See you tomrrow, Y/N.

Y/N leaves his closet and closes the door. He turns and sees Lucy standing in front of him. She then walks closer and hugs him before whispering into his ear.

Lucy: Y/N, I'm worried you got hit a few times there. So, I need to check you.

Y/N: Me too.

Yuri is continuing to write her story and she makes a chapter about the situation they just went through.

Yuri: Just two more bad guys, and Earth could be saved. I don't want it to end up like this world. I wasn't the best, but it still doesn't deserve to be destroyed. I better get some sleep. It's been a very long day.

Yuri gets on her bed and falls asleep instantly, not even bothering to put blankets on her. Gene however is looking at Leduit and pulls up Gootube on the TV.

Gene: I really hope time moves faster on this world and everywhere else is slow. Cause I need to fix up this guy before we fight Garmantuous.

In Y/N's room, Y/N and Lucy are sitting on his bed and struggle to look at each other.

Lucy: Y/N, do you really intend on spending the rest of your life as a bounty hunter?

Y/N: It's the first time I felt like I had a calling. A sense of purpose. I don't enjoy that my species has ben enslaved, but I was harldy anyone special. I was just wandering through life without a thought for my future. And now I found something I can enjoy. I'm not saying I'm going to do it forever. I just want to keep doing it for a little while. You know, save up so I don't have to worry about money troubles for a while.

Lucy does remember how bounty hunting was fun for a while. Even though it didn't end favorably for her, she still enjoyed the thrill it had and how it gave her a chance to prove herself to others.

Lucy: (Sigh) If bounty hunting is something you want to keep doing, I'll support you.

Y/N: You don't have to pretend you don't mind.

Lucy: I know. But I can see where you're coming from. Bounty hunting was pretty exciting. It gave me a purppose back then too. So I mean what I said. I'll support you whatever lies in store. After all, it wouldn't be fair of me to pull the plug on your fun when you already did the impossible more than once.

Y/N: Thank you. I don't know what to say.

Lucy Puts her hands on Y/N's face and turns him toward her.

Lucy: You don't have to say anything. Just follow what your heart says. What you desire.

Y/N and Lucy kiss and fall onto the bed.
