Y/N POV:

I was outside the house and hosing the Bounty Suit down. I already let it marinate in whatever was left of the Goop for too long. After a few minutes, I turn off the hose so the suit can dry. Good thing it's warm outside.

Lucy: Y/N, I got lemonade for you.

Y/N: Thank you.

Lucy hands me the lemonade and I drink it.

Y/N: Wow, this is good.

Lucy: Thank you. It's been a while since I made one and I was worried I lost my touch.

I kept drinking the lemonde until the cup was empty.

Y/N: So, you and Gene were partners?

Lucy: Used to. Then a bounty went bad and I was on my own for a while.

Y/N: He said you were one of the best bounty hunters that lived.

Lucy: That was a while ago. Look, I still don't like where you're going with this career. But if you think it's the only way you can save your race, then I'll help.

Y/N: Thank you Lucy.

Yuri opens the window and talks to me.

Yuri: Big brother, Gene said that before you take on the rest of the Cartel, you really should get a jetpack upgrade for your suit.

Y/N: Okay, but where do I get a jetpack upgrade?

Yuri: Gene said you can get one at Mr. Keeps. And Jorb texted me the same thing.

Y/N: Jorb texted you?

Yuri: Yeah, it was during your Krubis bounty. He figured it'd be best to play nice with Normans.

Y/N: We're not actually Normans.

Gene (Yelling): Just go with it. It'll help.

Lucy: I'm having really mixed feelings living here. Nice to have a place without a scumbag landlord, but Gene is always on the damn couch.

Y/N: I should go get that Jetpack. Yuri, please keep Scarlet and Lucy from killing Gene please.

Yuri: I will, be careful.

I grab the Gatlians and head to Mr. Keep's pawnshop. I enter the shop and see Jorb on his phone like before and Mr. Keep checking inventory.

Y/N: Hey Mr. Keep.

Mr. Keep: Well, if it isn't the G3 killing Bounty Hunter. To be honest I'm surprised you're still alive. But hey, it seems defying expectations is your skill. So want can I do for ya.

Kenny: We heard you had a jetpack upgrade for our Bounty Suit.

Mr. Keep: Oh yeah, about that. I don't have one in stock, but I can order one for ya. It'll take some time, but it's better than nothing.

Y/N: (Sigh) How much?

Mr. Keep turns a touch pad screen on his chair that says "1000 Pesos". I place my hand on the screen to pay for it.

Mr. Keep: Okay, I'll order it ASAP. We'll let you know when we get it.

I look at what's in stock and see upgrades for the gatlians. I purhcase them and Mr. Keep reluctantly gives them. The guy is a horder, why would he keep all those things? Then jorb appears behind me to talk.

Jorb: Hey, that sister of yours has an article about your recent adventures. Visiting Zephyr Paradise and Port Terrene, especially taking out Krubis and Douglas.

Y/N: Am I famous or something?

Jorb: Yeah. Even before the article, you were all over the news. And some lady named Amy said she knew you and helped you a little. Though she might have done that for intentional popularity. Good luck on killing more bastards.

Jorb walks back into the shop and I get a text from Yuri asking me to come back home.

Gus: Yuri needs us home.

Sweezy: What happened?

Kenny: Don't know, but we better head back.

I run back to the house and enter to see Yuri in the living room.

Y/N: Yuri, what's up?

Yuri: Gene wants to talk to you.

Y/N: About what?

Gene: Sit down and I'll tell ya.

I do so and take a seat on one of the chairs. Gene eats a bunch of tacos and ends up causing crumbs to fall onto the floor. Lucy comes in and looks at Gene with disgust.

Lucy: It wouldn't kill you to clean up after yourself.

Gene: I'm going to clean it up, I just need a little help getting a handheld vaccum.

Yuri: Sure thing Gene.

Lucy: Yuri, Gene has to learn to do things himself again if he wants to live in this house. So don't do everything for him.

Gene: I'll take that. But let's get straight to business. Kid, you've taken care of both Krubis and Douglas in one day. I've taught you very well. But unfortunately, no good deed goes unpunished. Zephyr Paradise has no bad news developing yet, but it appears that Dreg town has gone to chaos.

Y/N: Dreg Town is in chaos? Can a place like that really get any worse?

Gene: I get where you're coming from. But Port Terrene isn't Guilst, so even a place like Dreg Town can get worse. Douglas and most of his G3 enforcers were keeping the scumbags and lowlifes in line. And now that he's out of the picture, they are free to do whatever the hell they want and Dreg Town is started to get even more wrecked than it was.

Gene turns on the TV and a news channel on Dreg Town. An two alien reporters are on top of a building and sees several areas of the city exploding and on fire.

Reporter: As you can see, Dreg Town has gone from bad to toal Shitstorm. There is looting, arson and even mass murder happening.

The reporter gets shot in the head and his blood splatters onto the other reporter.

Reporter 1: You said it, dumbass.

Gene turns off the TV and looks at me.

Gene: Anyway, this a perfect opportunity for a bounty outside of hunting the G3. I got a call from a bunch of representatives and they're willing to pay us a lot of Pesos if we help cull the renagades.

Suddenly, my warp device beeps and I answer it.

Y/N: Hello?

Clugg: Hello brave bounty hunter, as you might know. Dreg town is finally being set on fire. I need you to go in and take care of the ones inciting the people to riot. In exhange, Blim city council will reward you with 3,000 Pesos per target.

Lucy: 3,000 per target!? Are you serious?

Yuri: Will that be a lot?

Gene: You have any idea how many months we could go doing nothing if we had that money? Take it. Take it.

Y/N: Fine, I'll accept.

Clugg: Great, just head there and do what you do best. The information on the targets have already been sent your way. Good luck.

Clugg hangs up and I get off the chair.

Y/N: Guess I got more business in Dreg Town.

Lucy: Y/N, be extremely carrful. Dreg town was already dangerous before these riots started.

Y/N: I will.

I go and get the bounty suit and put it on. I go to grab the Gatlians and Scarlet activates.

Scarlet: (Yawn) Good morning Y/N. Are we off to hunt down the rest of the G3 Cartel?

Y/N: Not yet. Our assassination of Douglas has caused the criminals in Dreg town to go completely wild and now we have to put them down.

Kenny: No rest for the wicked.

Knifey: Whatever, as long as I get to kill people.

Sweezy: Fine by me, I could use a workout.

Gus: Same here

Y/N: Then let's get going.

I fo to the living room and set the Bounty 5K to Dreg Town. I see that most of the city is now on fire even though it's just been a few minutes. Or does time work differently here? Either way, I have a mission: To kill all these fuckers.

Y/N: Scarlet, do you know where the targets are?

Scarlet: Scanning. I see them. They're all in seperate parts of the city. Marking their locations on your HUD. Looks like it's going to be a hike from here on.

Y/N: Bring it.

My radar shows the locations of the targets and they're all along paths filled with G3 members and regular murderers. The first target is a mercenary from Planet Anima and is massacring everything he sees. I go there and come across a bunch of bloodthristy Wolvoid renegades.

Renegade: Hey it's the bounty hunter.

Renegade 1: Kill him!

They fire at me and I take cover behind a building. Scarlet detects that the street lights are malfunctioning and can be used to create a bright flash.

Y/N: What city has street lights that can blind people?

Sweezy: The power generators produce a shit ton of energy, so it has to go somewhere. They just use special containers to keep the lights from blinding everyone.

Scarlet: Accessing the power. And... Lights on!

Scarlet causes a power surge and break the casings in the lights, blinding the Wolvoids.

Sweezy: Let's lights these fuckers up twice!

I pull out Sweezy and Kenny and fire them at the blind renegades. Everytime I shoot Kenny's "bullets' into Sweezy's crystals, they would cause the crystals to explode and cause damage to the enemies.

Y/N: And they said playing games was stupid.

Kenny: Let's head to the first target.

I run through the street and make my way to the target who was not far from me. After geting past dead bodies and burning cars. I finally reach the center of a district to see a psychotic looking Wolvoid who is shooting whatever comes in his line of sight.

???: HAHAHAHAHA! Die you worthless motherfuckers!!!!

Scarlet: That guy is Cyber Wolf. A Wolvoid Mercenary wanted by the Galactic Union and several worlds for genocide and the destruction of many peaceful cities.

Y/N: Let's get this bastard.

I fire Kenny's Glob Shot and it explodes near Cyber Wolf. He notices us and has a face full of rage.

Cyber Wolf: You son of a bitch!

He fires his minigun at me and I take cover using conviniently lined up cars. I walk along them as he keeps shooting the car I was hiding behind.

Cyber Wolf: Come out now and I'll just cut your legs off and give you a quick finish.

Cyber Wolf fires a grenade and blasts the cars. I sneak behind him and stab him in the back before having Gus blast his minigun.

Cyber Wolf: FUCK!!!!

He throws me off and I manage to land on my feet. I fire Kenny at him and he charges at me. He hits me, but my shield takes msoe of the blow and I plunge Knifey into his gut. I then shoot Kenny into his face several times and Cyber Wolf is dead.

Y/N: Should I take a piece of him?

Scarlet: We are told to dispose of them, so I don't think they care if we don't bring them back. Plus the News is still covering this event.

Y/N: Okay, Let's head to the next target.

I continue making my way through Dreg Town as I head toward the other targets. I see myself on one of the TVs that haven't been wrecked.

Reporter: As you can see, the Bounty Hunter who has killed two of the G3 Cartel's most pwoerful officers is in Dreg Town and seems to be on a mission to kill the ones who told everyone that they can do whatever the fuck they want.

I See the targets is in the Police Department and go inside to see several cops and civilians trapped inside the cells. Then two robots come from the doors and walk toward me.

Scarlet: The Chaos Twins have arrived.

Twin 1: It's one against 2. The odds are not in your favor, Bounty Hunter.

Twin 2: We are stronger than those two officers of the G3. In fact, we will take over the G3 and rule the galaxy.

Gus: These guys seroiusly don't count Gatliens to be in Y/N's favor.

Knifey: Let's kill these fucking robots!

I fire Gus and the robots move away. They pull out energy pistols and shoot at me. I grab Kenny and Sweezy and fire back at the Twins. The robots get a few hits before throwing a punch of grenades. But I shoot the grenades and cause them to explode in their faces.

Twin 1: Combine!

Twin 2: Combine!

One of the Twins hop on top of the other and lock together to form a slightly larger robot.

Scarlet: The walls on both their sides are sturdy enough to defect an object that big and hard enough to slice through them, but light enough to travel through the air.

Gus: We're on it! Y/N, Fire my disks!

I pull Gus out and aim him at the walls. I use his Trick Hole to fire his disk at the wall, deflecting them and causing them to slice through the twins several times.

Twin 1: I never got the chance to make out with the blender.

Twin 2: I never got a chance to fuck the microwave.

The twins literally end up in pieces and fall apart. I free the police and civilians and hope that they can help this situation a little.

Scarlet: Final target is at city hall. better get a move on if you want to go home early.

I nod and run out of the Police Department and head to City Hall. Suddenly, Scarlet causes the temperature inside my suit to drop.

Y/N: Scarlet, what the hell?

Scarlet: Your target is Jade, an assassin that has killed several politicians. He uses a sniper taht has themral imaging. I need to mask your heat so we can go undetected.

Y/N: Okay. Just please warn me next time.

Scarlet: I will.

All of us continue heading to City Hall and see sniper shots coming form the top floor. I enter the building and Scarlet plays the feeds on Loop until I can slip past them and make it to the elevator. I click the floor under the top one and the elevator ascends. Scarlet then hacks into the surveillance feeds on the top floor and we see a masked figure in a gold and green outfit.

Y/N: I'm assuming that's Jade?

Scarlet: Yep.

Knifey: All I see is another stabable piece of shit.

Kenny: Let's kill this guy and show that we are goign to be the greatest in the bounty hunting business.

The elevator stops and I take the stairs to the final floor. I see the door to where Jade was and a warning sign appears in my HUD.

Scarlet: The door's booby-trapped. Better shoot it and cause Jade to act in surprise.

I nod and fire Kenny's Glob Shot and cause the trap to detonate. Jade fires several times and I use this to go through the vents leading into the room. Jade stops firing and looks around for me.

Jade: I know you're there.

I come through the top vent and start firing at him. He fires back and we start chargin at each other. Our shots either miss us or end up hitting each other. We get closer and I bring our Knifey as Jade brings out a concealed blade. We strike each other and it was left ambigous who got stabbed. We look down and see the Knifey has been impailed in Jade's chest while Jade's blade just cut my side a little.

Knifey: We win, Fuckhead.

Jade looks in shock and falls down.

Gus: We took care of the rioters.

Sweezy: Fuck yeah!

Kenny: Alright, let's head home.

I punch in the return home code into my warp device and jump through it. I go through the Bounty 5K and enter my house.

Yuri runs up and hugs me.

Yuri: I'm so glad you made it back.

Lucy: Okay, I'm even more impressed.

Gene: I'm pissing my pants in delight. Metaphorically this time. You have good chance at winning this war you've declared on the G3. I mean you kinda have to since you're the hero of this story.

Lucy: Wait. Your side!

Y/N: It's nothing serious.

Gene: Hey kid, you had a busy three days, why don't you relax for a bit. I'll let you know when Clugg and his team sends us any information. But hey, train, play video games, whatever. Just enjoy your time.

Y/N: I will.

I go into my room and change out of the Bounty Suit. I also take off the shirt I was wearing due to the cut. Good thing it wasn't my favorite shirt. Suddenly, Lucy comes in when I took off the shirt.

Lucy: Y/N, I need to tell you something-

Lucy stares at me and notices that I have decent abs. She starts blushing and I don't really mind it.

Y/N: Need something?

Lucy: It's just... You're more muscular than I thought you were.

Y/N: I was on a track and field team for three years before the G3 invasion. It was pretty helpful when I started this bounty hunting. I'm hoping that I can save Mom and Dad.

Lucy: You've got a lot of work ahead of you then.

Y/N: I know. But I'm still going to try. And I have to protect Yuri. If anything happened to her... I don't know what I'd do.

Lucy stops blushing and has a sad expression. She pulls out a bandage Roll and walks towards me. She starts wrapping it bandage around my lower torso. After she finshes, she wraps her arms around me and pulls me into a hug.

Lucy: If you want to protect your sister, stay safe. I bet she doesn't want anything to happen to you either.

Y/N: I know.

Lucy lets go and walks out of my room.

Kenny: We'll stop the G3 and save your parents.

Knifey: And we'll kill any fucker that gets in our way.

Gus: Why don't we go to bed? It's been another long ass day.

Sweezy: You can say that again.

I put the Gatlians and knifey on my dresser and place my helmet on my night stand. I should save up for some renovations. I lay down on my bed and can already feel myself becoming tired. I grab my phone and look at photos of myself with either Yuri or Dad. I looka at a photo from years ago with me, Mom, and Dad smiling together. I feel nostalgia at how things were more more simpler. Hell, literally everything was simpler even with all the wars, violence, and insanity.

Y/N: And then the G3 made it even worse.

Scarlet: We can still make it a little better than it was. Get some rest Y/N.

Scarlet powers down. I close my eyes and drift into a deep sleep.
