Y/N POV:

Just three more G3 officers left. And then I can save humanity. I go to the Bounty 5k and initiate the bounty for Dr. Giblets. But the machine doesn't open a portal door for me to walk through. However, Gene has something to tell me, so I turn around and face him

Gene: Alright, here's the skinny; You're all gonna need some major firepower if you really plan to take on Garmantuous.

Y/N: My entire team is literally guns. Can we really get more firepower?

Gene: Trust me, we need this. I got a call from a member of the Galactic Union Council who sent us details on an extremely powerful Gatlian...

Kenny: Another Gatlian?

Gene: That's right. Supposedly he's in the possession of another G3 officer, a scientist named Dr. Jon Giblets. And guess what? I can't find shit on him. I don't even know where he is.

Scarlet: Then how the hell do we find him?

The portal door activates and someone comes through it.

???: Perhaps I can aid with hunting down Dr. Jon Giblets.

Gene: HOLY FUCK! Minerva? What the hell are you doing here? How'd you even find us?

Minerva: Well, Clugg told us about a promising new bounty hunter that has been taking down most of the G3 Cartel's officers. And the fact the city has a strange house that warped in a few days ago and you no long on that bench you were wasting away one, it wasn't hard to figure out where you were.

Gene: We have an agreement. I help the kid become a bounty hunter, he let's me live in the house.

Scarlet: You ran out of luck when that part played in your favor.

Minerva: Anyway, I have information on where Dr. Giblets will be. Come step into my home, bounty hunter. I think it's time you see Norma.

Minerva goes through the portal door and I wonder if I should go as well.

Gene: Three things I learned the hard way: Never take anyone for granted, never date a Flimborg, and don't keep a GU Council memebr waiting. Head on through.

Y/N: Okay.

I step through the portal door and find myself in a beautiful penthouse with many luxurious furniture.

I see Minerva sitting on the couch and watching TV. It shows the Norma Prime News about how the economy is facing another beneficial boom and how the Interstellar Union Army has recieved more members to ensure peace throughout the galaxy.

Minerva: Norma has always saw itself as a shining beacon for the galaxy. Of course, for years the G3 have been a sizeable menace and our focus has been on defending our sector. Then you came and everything seemed to changed. The G3 have been thrown into a panic due to you taking out their officers. Of course, the IA is not pleased with your actions making them look like fools.

Y/N: It wasn't my intention.

Minerva: Either way, the IA is growing restless and will be taking action soon. If you want to kill Garmantuous, you better do it soon.

Y/N: You said you can help with finding Dr. Giblets?

Minerva points to a data card on the desk. I pick it up and insert it into my warp device so Scarlet can scan it.

Scarlet: This data indicates that Dr. Giblets' base will be temporariily stationed on Zephyr Paradise.

Kenny: Then we better move if we want to kill him.

Sweezy: Fuck yeah.

Gus: Let's get a move on, Y/N.

Creature: Warp trip!

Minerva: One more thing, bounty hunter. That sister of yours got a call from Norma Elite Books. They gave her a call and said they were interested in her writing a book.

Y/N: Yuri is writing a book?

Minerva: Yep. Don't worry, she'll get full credit for writing the thing. After all, I own NEB and I don't like people taking undeserved credit for others' works. I'm going to set up a meeting with her in a week. Make sure that you survive your crusade against that damn drug cartel.

I nod and go through the portal door that was set in Minerva's Penthouse. I return home and see Lucy has returned from grocery shopping.

Y/N: Oh, hi Lucy.

Lucy: Hi, Y/N. So, you heading after this time?

Gene: Dr. Jon Giblets

Lucy: Dr. Giblets? What... are you... (Sigh).... Y/N, be extremely careful. That thing is dangerous. He set traps aroudn his fortress and anybody who tried to go after him hardly comes out alive.

Y/N: I'll come back alive.

Lucy: Please do. For Yuri.

Lucy takes the groceries to the kitchen and Gene look at me.

Gene: So Minerva told you where Giblets is hiding?

Scarlet: Yes Gene. She actually shows more intelligence than her apperance would imply.

Gene: Yeah. I wonder where I would be if I didn't lose sight of my friends.

I look at Gene who seems to state that he truly regrets the decisions he made to his former comrades.

Gene: (Sigh) Kid, please come back alive. I am trying to change, I just need you there to give me some encouragement.

Y/N: I will.

I go through th Bounty 5K and end up in front of Giblets' lab, which has recently warped to Zephyr Paradise. I see several holes, burnt areas, and G3 corpses all over the place.

Kenny: What the hell happened here?

Creature: Did someone get here before us?

Gus: Look at this place. This place is all fucked up.

Sweezy: Don't tell me Giblets is already dead. I mean that would save us a lot of trouble, but it wouldn't be right to take credit for somethign we didn't do.

Scarlet: Dr. Giblets is still alive. We should enter the lab and see what happened.

Y/N: Okay.

We enter the lab and see several detroyed drones and dead merks. There are also several scorch marks everywhere. Either there was a fire or something very hot was shot all over the place. Could this be related to the Gatlian in Giblet's possession?

Scarlet: Either these guys ended up in a kill frenzy and murdered each other or someone is responsible for killing all of Giblets' men. I am unlocking the next room.

Scarlet opens the door leading to another aprt of the lab and we go in. We see several prototypes and creatures that have been experiemented by Dr. Giblets. I also see several devices that are made for containing organisms.

Y/N: What are these?

Scarlet: Prototypes for the G3's new Hyberbongs.

Y/N: Hyperbongs?

Scarlet: For those who aren't of Garmatuous' species, they need special impants installed into their heads to attached the nozzels built into the Hyperbongs in order to absorb the life out of humans. Unfortunately for the humans, they can't speak or yell as they are forced to experience this painful process.

I get mad and shoot Kenny at the prototypes.

Kenny: We'll save the humans and keep them from being turned into drugs. Let's just find Giblets first.

I look around and see a few G3 Merks that seem to have been chopped up and stuck to a bunch of junk that makes them look like a fucked up science fair project.

Y/N: What the hell?

Scarlet: Looks like Giblets was trying to add cybernetics to these guys. Although he probably didn't realize he had to fuse the nervous system with circuitry and find a way to keep the body form rejecting the implants. Although maybe he just chopped up a corpse and stuck it to a bunch of random metal. Let's go to the next room.

Scarlet opens the next room and we see several writings on the walls and a sealed off part of the lab. I look at the 2nd place science trophies and eventually find a Gatlain that seems to be in a half-dead state and hooked up to a machine.

Gus: Is that?

Sweezy: It can't be.

Kenny: Lezduit?

Creature: Hello, I'm creature.

I look at the writing that has the words "I know they're watching me", "Who's watching me", "Who's coming after me", and "I'M NEXT!!!". Yeah, the guy had a real grasp on sanity.

Y/N: So, I'm guessing Dr. Giblets became more paranoid than ususal that someone was out to kill him.

Scarlet: And in his paranoia, he killed all his men with that Gatlian he was experimenting on. I sense movement above us! It's GIblets! Unlocking doors now!

I run up the stairs and arrive on the roof. I see Giblet's typing on a terminal and prepareing to activate something. I pull out knifey and hoping that Giblets isn't tolerate to the planet's atmosphere.

Y/N: You think you can pierce that suit?

Knifey: I pierce through G3 power armor.

Giblets: Bounty Hunter?!

I throw Knifey and he breaks through Giblets' hazmat suit and impales him through the head.

Knifey: HAHAHAHA!!!! Knifey and Bounty Hunter, 1. Giblets, 0. Alright, pull me out and let me at em.

I pull out Knifey and use him to cut a piece of Dr. Giblets.

Knifey: That was the easiest one yet.

Scarlet: And we didn't even trigger any traps.

A buzzing sounds and the floor opens beneath us. We fall and end up in soem sort of arena.

Scarlet: My bad.

A hologram of Dr. Giblets appears in the center of the arena and speaks.

Dr. Giblets: So Bounty Hunter. Or should I say "Y/N Hypernova"? That's right, I've done my research. Actually, two adult humans that I imprisoned at my lab on Earth said your name when they saw you picture. I was warning the grunts what to and the man said your name before the woman asked if he said that. Yeah she looked like the type that watched a lot of anime when she was young and now looks like life shit in her face.

Y/N: Mom? Dad?

Dr. Gibelts: Anyway it doesn't matter. I am have just finished setting up this death trap for you. Then, I plan to tell Garmantuous about it since I killed the grunts for not understanding the situation. Now, prepare to face my retribution from beyond the grave!

Scarlet: Enemies coming from all sides.

Y/N: Let's do this guys!

I fire Kenny and Gus at the first wave of soliders that come at us. Kenny's Glob shots and Gus' discs is great at crowd control due to being able to take out many soliders at once. The next wave was made of several drones that are workign for the G3. Corrupt or joined at first sight, it doesn't matter. What matters is that they are in our damn way of leaving this place.

Soon, a horde of Mytes appear and trying to eat us. Kenny was right about these things. It's impossible to feel bad killing them. Sweezy's timeb bubbles and more Glob shots form Kenny helped exterminate these damned pests. The room fills with poison and I hop on the platform heading up. G3 warp pods appear and more soldiers attempt to end up. Their attempts were useless, for they were dealing with an up cna coming bounty hunter armed with awesome Gatlians.

The final wave appears and I use Knifey to stab and decapitate them.

Knifey: Here I am! Knife you like a hurricane! HAHAHAHA!!!

The arena shuts down and a ladder leading upward comes down. I climb up it and end up back in the lab. A message from Dr. Gurgula plays at how he became interested in furgles and Gatlians before shifting his interest in humans. What does this guy want? What's his end game? The sealed off lab unlocks and we go inside to see the Gatlian named Lezduit.

Y/N: My god, they messed him up like they did creature. No offense.

Creature: None taken. I feel really bad for him.

Kenny: W-we... We should take him back. See what Gene can do.

Scarlet: Good idea. Punch in the return home code and bring Lezduit back with us.

I do so and grab Lezduit from the machine he was hooked up in. I go through the portal and see Gene and Yuri using my computer to play Buck Thunder II: Xenoslaughter on two player. They are currently fighting through Buck's ex-wife's new hivemind boyfriends.

Yuri: This is confusing. She's married the guy, but he's a hivemind. Does that make her in a relationship with all of them?

Gene: Yuri, I don't know. In in both fiction and real life, anything can happen.

Yuri looks and me and she smiles.

Yuri: Big brother! You're back!

Gene: Wow, look at that. You found and killed Dr. Giblets. How'd it go? Come over, let's Pow-wow!

Yuri: I'll take your computer back to your room. Not the first time I had to carry something like this.

Yuri turns of my computer and takes it back to my room. I turn in Dr. Giblets' DNA at the Bounty 5K and recieve my payment.

Y/N: Okay, Dr. Giblet's is dead. Only one more officer and then it's taking on Garmantuous himself.

Kenny: Right, and also, we found another Gatlian.

Gene: Oh shit! That's great!

Kenny: I-I don't know about that. I mean h-he's not really... functional. I don't think he dead, but...

I show Gene Lezduit and the state he is currently in.

Gene: Oh, goddamn. Yeah, he's busted up real bad. What were they doin' to him?

Y/N: Gene, do you think Lezduit can be operational?

Gene: I don't know kid. I need to have a good look at him.

Kenny: O-okay

Gene: Oh, by the way, Space Applebee's has a deal for you: 50% percent off of any meal you order. Why don't you use that deal. They serve good food.

Yuri: I'm going to be working on my story. Stay safe you two.

Y/N: We will.

Gene: Don't forget to mention how I played a part in this.

I can tell that Kenny is hiding something. I have a bad feeling it has something to do about his homeworld.
