No POV:

Y/N is in his room without his shirt doing push-ups as part of his new routine. The Gatlians are watching and cheering for him as he keeps going.

Sweezy: 97, 98, 99... 100.

Kenny: Wow! A new personal record. I'm guessing because I wasn't with you until a few days ago. I was enslaved with an inhibitor chip stuck in me for years.

Y/N: I'm aware.

Gus: By the way Y/N, what's going on between you and Lucy? Ever since two days ago, she's been acting weird when she's around you. Like this morning, she hardly made eye contact and just went straight to work. And only works 5 hours at Blue Garden. It's been 9 hours.

Y/N: I ended up making things extremely awkward between us. I'm going to try to talk to her when she gets back. Hopefully I can help her regain some of her pride.

Knifey: What's that supposed to mean?

Scarlet: Let's Just end that topic there. Also, Y/N, Yuri and Gene sent you a text. They ordered pizza and are inviting you there.

Y/N: Okay. I am hungry.

Y/N gets up and leaves his room. He goes to the living room and sees Gene and Yuri sitting down and eating pizza. Y/N sits down and grabs a slice as the TV plays a commercial for 'the brand new THIS'. It just shows a tiny alien having a bunch of random, unrelated problems before the narrator says it can all be solved with 'The Brand New THIS'.

Yuri: What is that? Does it do anything?

Gene: I don't fucking know Yuri. People will buy any shit they see on TV, even if it doesn't make a lick of sense.

Yuri sweats and laughs nervously at Gene's comment.

Yuri: I know a few salespeople who'd make a lucrative killing with people like these. Apparently, a lot of aliens seem to by random stuff. Like from that tiny guy that was selling vials and gallons of some white substance.

Gene: Okay, make sure you stay far away from that guy. By the way kid, there's something I need to talk to you about.

Y/N: Is it about Lucy?

Gene: Okay, not everything is about Lucy. But yeah, it's about Lucy. Look, I can see how your visit to Red Lotus caused a lot of 'complications' and 'oversharing'. But Lucy isn't going to be likely to continue training you if it keeps up like this. Why don't you do something nice for her to help settle things down.

Y/N: It was already on my mind but is there anything specific you recommend?

Y/N grabs a soda and was about to drink it as Yuri's eyes sparkles and she gets an idea.

Yuri: How about take her on a date.

Y/N: A date?

Yuri: It's like in my favorite manga "Moonlight and Chocloates" when Hiro and Arashi got trapped in a store room and he asks her on a date the day after they escape in order to better understand her and does his part in mending things.

Gene: Your baby sister may be onto something. If it's just the two of you having fun on something that isn't a mission, then there can't be any excuse to get out of it. Also, I think a date may be good chance for Lucy to have some actual fun than watching The Real Housewives of Anima, or whatever she actually does for fun. And even I can tell that she seems to see you as something more than just a part-time student.

Y/N: Okay, if you guys really think it'll help.

Yuri: Yay!

Gene: Just don't mention anything about us. No one like a being asked on a date because the one who asked was told to do that by others.

Y/N: I just asked if you guys had any suggestions, and that is what you said. But I won't mention you guys.

Gene: Perfect. I already lost my legs, I can't lose any more of my body.

They hear knocking and Gene pulls up a camera feed on the TV. It's Lucy who is back from work.

Y/N: I really need to give her a spare key.

Y/N gets up and goes to open the door for Lucy. Lucy is surprised by the sight on him and tries to not look him in the eyes. Y/N knows that this is about the night when she was affected by the Red Lotus aphrodisiac.

Y/N: Hey Lucy, how was work?

Lucy: It went well. Most people just came for a quick drink and left. Some of them though got so drunk they decided to go down the garbage chute.

Y/N: Weird. So Lucy. I wanted to ask if you are interested in, going around town together?

Lucy begins blushing at the question.

Lucy: Uh, are you inviting me out on a date, Y/N?

Y/N: I-if that's okay with you. I just want to talk to you, maybe have dinner, and that's all.

Lucy: O-okay. Sure, just let me get ready.

Lucy walks past Y/N and goes to her room. Y/N then goes to his room and puts on his clothes.

Kenny: Hey bud, where are you going?

Y/N: On a date with Lucy.

Gus: She invited you on a date?

Y/N: I invited her.

Gus: That's even better! You go boy!

Sweezy: You ain't going to take us? I can give you advice on what girls would like.

Scarlet: I think it'd be better if they were the only ones on this date.

Y/N: Yeah. I'm trying to make things less awkward between us, and I need to do this on my own.

Sweezy: Okay, you two have fun.

Kenny: Hey, if you can, bring back some Gatterall. I'm kinda hungry for it. It's been days since I ate some.

Gus: Yeah, bring back some Gaterall if you get a chance.

Y/N: I'll try. See you guys later.

Kenny: Take care.

Y/N leaves his room and goes to wait for Lucy on the porch. Lucy comes out and Y/N can tell that she smells really nice.

Lucy: Okay, so where do you want to go first?

Y/N: How about a movie?

Lucy: Yeah. There's a new movie I've been waiting to come out. It's called "Lunar Harmony". It's literally the only movie that doesn't all about drugs, violence, and sex.

Y/N: We could use a movie like that. Let's go, I'll even pay for our seats.

Lucy: Oh, thanks.

Y/N and Lucy go to a movie theater and look for whatever theater is playing the movie. Y/N pays for the 6-D theater since it's the cleanest one out of all of them.

Manager: Okay, and since you are the only ones who chose the premium theater, you get free popocorn and soda.

Lucy: We're the only ones that pick the premium theater? How come?

Manager: I don't know, something about the shitty ones just draw most people in. Hell, like the alien cum that random short guy is selling to random shitheads.

Y/N: My god, people in this galaxy.

Lucy: I feel you, Y/N.

Manager: I'm one of those people. That's why my mom kicked me out and I'm working at a movie theater.

Y/N: Lucy, let's just get to that movie.

Lucy: Good idea.

Y/N and Lucy grab their concessions and go to the theater and take their seats. They decide to take the seats in the middle since it would give a good view without taking up too much of their line of sight. They movie begins and the theater apparently has the perk of skipping the long previews.

Y/N: Well there's one other good thing about a galactic civilization.

Lucy: Movie theaters?

Y/N: Ones that allow you to school the previews and ads.

Lucy: Got it.

The movie starts with a Norman high school prodigy traveling the galaxy on summer break. During this, he struggles to find meaning due to always having to follow his family's expectations of him. He then meets a free-spirited girl who is searching for her own place in the galaxy. He meets her when he's on the world Utopia IV, and finds himself attracted to her They then travel together and they fall in love with each other.

The boy's family found out about them, and disapproved of their relationship. However, the boy vowed to prove them wrong about everything and does so by creating helping the girl spread hope across Norma and the System. The family allowed them to be together and a marriage was hed between the boy and the girl.

Boy: From no on, till the end of time.

Girl: We'll be together, for all eternity

Boy/Girl: I love you.

The lovers kiss and everyone present cheers and applauds for them. Lucy began to cry a little and so did Y/N as he can't remember the last time he saw a movie this amazing and heartfelt.

Y/N: I'm giving filling all the stars in the review for this.

Lucy: This movie was worth the wait. Thank you for taking me here, Y/N.

Y/N: No problem Lucy. I'm just glad to you had some fun on this date.

Lucy: So, do you want to go to other places for this date?

Y/N looks at Lucy when she says that and he blushes for the first time in his life. Y/N and Lucy leave the movie theater and decides to visit place around Blim City. Y/N takes Lucy to an arcade and he plays some games that allows him to win prizes. He gets a big teddy bear for Lucy, before she decides to try her aim as well. Lucy grabs the prop gun and looks at Y/N before shooting all the targets without even looking. She wins a big bear and gives that one to Y/N. Y/N then uses his Warp Device to put the teddy bears in their rooms.

Y/N and Lucy then go to the Blim City clock tower that is dwarfed by all the other buildings, but is an important part of the city's history.

Y/N: I think I saw a movie were the final battle took part at a clock tower. This cop was betrayed by his partner and he won by tossing the betrayer out of the clock.

Lucy: You humans seem pretty interesting. Are you all like this?

Y/N: Sort of. There are many things such as religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, and a bunch of other stuff.

Lucy: You and Yuri get along pretty well. How long have you two been together?

Y/N: She just arrived at the house a few days ago.

Lucy: A few days ago? Where was she before that?

Y/N's stomach grumbled before he could answer that question.

Lucy: You want to get dinner?

Y/N: Yes please.

Lucy smiles and holds Y/N's hand and walks with him. Lucy then takes him to a restaurant called "Space Applebee's". Lucy orders a couple of sandwiches since she this is a day of the week she only eats certain things. A strange alien serves the sandwiches and Lucy seems to recognize him

???: Okay, here are your sandwiches. Now, what else do you do want? Oh Lucy.

Lucy: Tweeg? What the hell are you doing here?

Tweeg: Well the last Applebee's first option was to lay me off, but they decided to simply transfer me here. You still embarrassed about our dates together? I thought they were fun.

Lucy: They weren't dates, I didn't have fun. You just dragged me around saying "Just one more place" every single time. And you tricked me into starting that "Incident

Tweeg: Come on it wasn't that bad.

Lucy: Tweeg, Leave.

Tweeg: Fine by me, I was supposed to leave two hours ago. Just wanted a little overtime pay.

Tweeg leaves and Lucy just gets up.

Lucy: Y/N, let's go.

Y/N: o-okay.

Lucy grabs his hand and pulls him out at he leaves a bunch of Pesos to pay fot the sandwiches. Lucy then take him away from Space Applebee's and takes him to an alley. Lucy then punches in coordiantes on Y/N's Warp Device and pull him through the portal. Lucy and Y/N are in a park in the wealthier districts of the city. It is full pretty plants, trees, and even has an amazing view of the moon. Lucy smokes from a high-class pipe while Y/N admires the view of everything.

Y/N: This place is very pretty. And the moon looks amazing. It actually takes your mind off all the crazy things happening.

Lucy: Yeah, I've been coming here everyday for the last 50 years.

Y/N: 50 years? You look like a woman in her prime. Not a day over 23.

Lucy: Hm, how long do most humans live?

Y/N: I don't know. I varies, but if you naturally age, most people usually last until 70. If you're healthy and very lucky, you might live a little longer than that.

Lucy: So, I guess some parts of human physiology is identical to Normans.

Y/N: Hey Lucy, what's the life span in an Animan?

Lucy: It varies, just like your species. Although I am comfortable enough to tell you that I'm 150 years old.

Y/N: So you're like 25 in Earth years?

Lucy: Is that young?

Y/N: Lucy, some women say that the best parts of their life were when they're 25. So yeah, it's young

Lucy: Glad to hear it.

Lucy and Y/N keep stating at the moon and city silently for a few minutes. Y/N wonders what happened to Lucy before he met her as she has a history with Gene and apparently Tweeg. He then decides that he should just ask her.

Y/N: Hey Lucy?

Lucy: What's up?

Y/N: What happened between you and Gene?

Lucy stays silent at the quesition. Y/N would like to know, but doesn't want to push Lucy.

Y/N: You don't have to tell me.

Lucy: (Sigh) I guess I need to get this off my chest. Gene and I were partners for a while. He was actually my mentor.

Y/N: Really?

Lucy: Yeah. Although I was the one doing most of the work. Gene mostly socialized and was the one killing the bounties while I was killing most of the ones guarding them. But I put up with it since I hated my life before when I was on Anima. A life where I had to serve ever single whim of the strong for a twisted form of protection. Gene found me, taught me what he knew, and soon I began developing my own skills. Until we got a contract to kill a corrupt Norman executive.

Y/N: What happened?

Lucy: We managed to sneak through security in their mansion and we were one room away from killing our target. But Gene noticed a vault in the room, and remembered hearing someone at a bar saying that the target had money that was more than what was being offered to us. Gene insisted that we take the money, and it turns out that vault needed to be opened by the target.

Y/N: The alarm was tripped.

Lucy: The Guard come rushing in and fired at us. The target used this to escape and I had to deal with the guards while Gene was focused on gathering money.

Y/N: You did not end up unscathed, did you?

Lucy: Nope. Even after more guards to told to head for us, Gene told me to help him with the money. I decided that was enough and I escaped. I ran nonstop until I was far away from the mansion. Unfortunately, Gene didn't die. After that I decided to give up bounty hunting and just live a normal life. This business is very dangerous, and filled with mosnters like the G3 Cartel.

Y/N: That's why you were telling me to back out of bounty hunting when you first met me.

Lucy: I don't want anyone who has their whole life ahead of them to die for money that might not be worth it.

Y/N: I'll admit, the last two missions were about money, but I'm fighting the G3 Cartel to save my parents and my sister. Most of my species have been enslaved by the G3 and are being sued as drugs. That is beyond fucked up. If Yuri is the only one I have left, I don't want her to suffer because of them.

Lucy: Y/N, there's a good chance that you will die in this

Y/N: I know. But I hardly see any decent alternatives at the moment.

Lucy: (Sigh) Then I guess that's what you've choosen. Don't regret that.

Y/N: I won't.

Lucy smiles a little before putting away her pipe. She then gets closer to Y/N, causing him to blush.

Lucy: Y/N, what do you think of me?

Y/N: I... I think you are an amazing woman. I mean, your strong, your skilled, you show a lot more intelligence than Gene.

Lucy: No doubt about that.

Y/N: I also think you're very beautiful.

Lucy blushes at Y/N's statement.

Lucy: Really?

Y/N: Yeah. I mean, i have seen cute girls, but I never talked to them. You, are way more beautiful than the most popular girl at my school. I mean, Earth only had Humans and didn't known about the galaxy until a few days ago. But still, I don't know any women that are prettier than you.

Lucy: T-thank you, Y/N.

Y/N: Lucy, did oyu ever have any dreams? Or rather, something you are interested in doing in the future?

Lucy: I... I always loved flowers ever since I was a kid. So one time, I thought of opening a floristry one day. I kinda still do, even though it may seem unlikelt at this point.

Y/N: Maybe, I can help you with that.

Lucy: Really?

Y/N: Yeah. Once everything calms down, I'll help you open one up. I mean, I should repay you after this somehow. And other than finding a quiet place to live in, I think helping you with an old dream would be a great thing.

Lucy grabs Y/N's cheeks and pulls him into a kiss. The moon still shines behind them as the embrace in it.

At the House

Yuri: I don't get Corpulent Gentleman.

Gene: Neither do I Yuri. But this might be one of those shows I still watch even though I might not like it.

Yuri: Gene?

Gene: What's up?

Yuri: What happened between you and Lucy. She pulled a gun at you when she followed me back here.

Gene: It's a very long story full of sighs. I'll tell you about it later, if I feel like it. Why don't you go to bed, it's getting pretty late. Your brother's got a big day ahead of him tomorrow. Clugg's team finally gave us information on two more G3 Officers. You're bother is going to get closer to taking down the organization.

Yuri: I hope he does. I want to return to my home planet again.

Gene: Uh, just be patient. It'll take time. Night Yuri.

Yuri: Night Gene.

Yuri goes to her room and shows the Gatlians, Knifey, and Scarlet on her dressers and nightstand.

Kenny: How much longer until Y/N gets back? It's been hours.

Gus: Kenny, he's just having fun with Lucy. Let him be.

Sweezy: Yeah. It's not going to be easy to take down the rest of the Cartel.

Yuri: Well, I'm going to bed.

Scarlet: Yeah, it might be a while since we all can take a break. So rest up while you still can.

Yuri: Okay. Night guys.

Knifey: Sweet dreams, Yuri.

Yuri: Night everyone.

Yuri gets into her bed and falls asleep. While in Y/N's room, Y/N and Lucy are lying under the covers naked. Lucy holds Y/N tight as they both sleep soundly.
