"How did it go?" Shadow turned around to face her little sister. "It went fine, I guess." Shadow loved her little sister even if she was adopted. Moonbeam was born into a different family but they all died in the volcano. "You aren't acting like it went fine." Shadow turned back to her mirror. She knew Moonbeam could read minds but she couldn't read Shadows mind. She always wore a skyfire necklace. Shadow continued to put on her jewelry. She picked up a old worn necklace and put it on. It was a pretty old one with four beads, two on each side(I will take a picture of it) It was green and had some brown here and there. She loved it. It kept her safe from the animus inside of her. Only Moonbeam knew about it and Moonbeam never talked about anything ever. Shadow turned around and pulled her into a hug. They let go only when their dad knocked on the door. He looked inside and told them it was time to go.

At the party there were dragons of all sorts and sizes. Shadow felt safe being here and blended in with all of the other dragons. Well, She thought she did. She was talking with Coco by the food stand. It turns out Coco is a Nightwing Rainwing hybrid.She felt a unhappy presence and said good bye to Coco. As Shadow walked through the garden she felt something, or someone touch her shoulder. She turned around and came face to face with a huge, muscular, scar covered Sandwing. "H-h-h-hi." Shadow stammered. The only response she got was a growl. "What do you want?" She tried again. "You." She hissed, tail held up. Shadow knew how to fight but she was to scared. Suddenly a figure emerged from the bushes and slit the Sandwings throat, but not after she stabbed Shadow's chest. Pain charged up her back, Going from wingtip to wingtip. Shadow staggered a bit before she figured out what happened. She's dead. She'd dead. That thing just killed her. All of that kept going through her head as she staggered out of the garden. She smashed into other dragons, fell into the food stand, and finally to make her stop Coco shot a dart and it landed right into Shadows neck. She felt sleep come creeping up her neck, but she didn't want to sleep. She need to get out of there and fast. She spread her wings and shot into the sky. She tried to make it home but her head was just to wozzy. She started to fly to the first place she thought of. Queen Glory. Shadow had no idea where the queen was but right when she got to the queen's hut her wings gave out. She fell. Gaining speed every second she was in the air. She crashed. She tried to get up but she couldn't. Right before the sleep took over she heard a scream. She had crashed into the queen of the Rainwings. Queen Glory.
