Queen Storm of the SeaWings sat on her Throne waiting on the arrival of one of her scouts. A navy blue SeaWing came rushing in and instantly bowed down "Your Majesty!" Queen Storm hissed at him "Current. Anything interesting to report about those underwater tribes?" "No, my Queen, they have been doing nothing new" Queen Storm flicked out her tongue. "and how many know that there are other above-water dragons like us?" "None, your Majesty." The Queen nodded her head. "Good. What about their strength?" "The ChasmWings and the KelpWings are by far the strongest, The KelpWing Queen, Seaweed had a daughter a while ago" Current stoped and thought for a moment. "About 12 years or so." Queen Storm, who had been looking at the window turned her head sharply "And why was I just notified about the Heir now?" Current winced and looked down "Seaweed has been keeping her daughter very secretive, for a while, only the royal family even knew about the egg until it hatched, and even when she hatched, a very select few knew about her. it was only three days ago when she announced it to the Tribe, on the Heir's hatching day. Current got up and started walking towards the exit. "And Prince Current" Current stopped and turned his head. "Yes mother?" Queen Storm narrowed her eyes. "Make sure your brother, Hurricane and your sister Mist don't know a thing about our preparations, for war." 

     Far away, 12 years before, a royal KelpWing egg started cracking. A guard tapped the animus touched slate, enchanted to notify the parent of the egg that it was hatching. A few moments later, Queen Seaweed swam in. She flashed her scales at the guard "My daughter is finally hatching" The Queen looked delighted as she swam over to her egg. Then she looked back at the guard. She flashed "Son. do not let anyone out of the royal family know her hatching." He nodded, then pointed up and flashed "Talk in air?" The Queen nodded back, then swam up. Her son had an odd love for air, but she accepted his likes. "Yes Jellyfish?" He hesitated for a moment, then asked. "why can't we let the tribe know about her hatching?" She smiled "you have a right to ask any questions, you know. But for the reason we aren't telling the full tribe." she suddenly grew somber "The reason is that my last two daughters were assassinated,

and there might be someone leaking information from the Tribe to the assassin. So, until she is older, no-one except the royal family will know about her." Jellyfish nodded his head "okay mother, I will let the family know." He swam down and out of the hatchery. Queen Seaweed swam to her egg and lay beside it. She flashed her scales even though she knew the princess wouldn't see or understand. "I will protect you no matter what" Then, the egg started to crack. A sliver of moonlight from the three moons went through the canopy, putting the egg in a spotlight. The starbursts of cracks grew, until a snout popped out, then the egg fell to the side, leaving a little dragonet sitting in the middle. "Hello Azure" The Queen flashed. Azure reached up her claw, like she was trying to grab the moonlight, and for an odd second, the moonlight flickered.
