As I went down, I extended my wings and pushed my tail high. I flapped my wings slowly at first, then gradually raised in elevation. I was free to soar now!
"Oy, Crystal!" I whipped around to be face to face with a SkyWing. Her glimmering scales were the color of a setting sky. That vermillion red hue and her brilliant kindness was attracted tons of boys. But of course, she declined ALL of them. She was just that type of dragon!
"Oh, hey Flare! Are you in the DTS too? That'll be great if you are!" I grinned. Living with my best friend for a month was truly the best thing there is.
"Yuperie! It'll be awesome!"
We started to actually move to Jade Mountain Academy, which was not that far. Only slight winds countered our mini-trek.
We soon arrived a little later than all the other dragons, but I didn't care. I just wanted to be here. Sunny was on a small pedestal along with Fatespeaker by her side. Fatespeaker was holding a couple of scrolls with a ginormous pile of them next to her.
Flare flew pass me and left to join a couple of other SkyWings in the midst of the small crowd. I didn't know them, so I just flew by the SkyWings. I looked around, hopefully seeing someone else I knew. And then I facetaloned myself.
'Of course I don't know anybody here! I don't have any friends!'
I did a flip and soared down to the rock ledge. As I came down, I saw a small glimmer of silver scales that gave me a feeling of...hope. I toke a double take, but it was gone, lost in the endless sea of dragonets.
And lo, the speech began.
Hey hey hey! It's Moonlight! Made this a shorter chapter because, well, the time of how long it takes to write 500+ words when you have about 5-10 minutes in a day when you're not busy, is looooooong. So I'm going to a different writing layout. It's short and sweet, yet still is describing. What do you think? Please vote and comment below!
