It all starts over 300,000 years after the War of SandWing Succession.

Pyrrhia was in peace. The NightWings and RainWings have merged their villages into one, and the tribe was so full of hybrids that Night and Rain have almost ended their pure-blood dragonets, instead having darker, color-changing dragons with a lethal smoke that acts as an acidic fog. These dragons are known as the MistWings.

MistWings have unique appearances. They have the stature of a NightWing, more stocky, but their thicker tails are long and prehensile. They are also on the tall side, and a small ruff is behind their ears. Horns and spikes look like a NightWing's but shorter and more rounded. Their scales can change color, but they end up in much darker shades and take an effort to get bright, camouflage-worthy colors.

Animi run in the tribe, and with the gene so widespread they're more common than one would think, plus some MistWings enchant others of high power to also be animi.

Regular abilities-wise, they have the changing scales. Along with this, they can release a deadly smoke that works as a fog, but instead of water, it's RainWing acid, meaning they are very lethal if inhaled by anyone except for MistWings, thanks to an enchantment.
They also still get the NightWing moon-powers, but they are much more weak. The mind-readers can't read more than three feet away, and even then it's quite hazy. The prophets have very weak and near futures, that aren't very accurate. They are still delivered the same, by the moons, but three-moons aren't as powerful, and there aren't even any alive to tell why.

Now, the MistWings have grown too large for the Rainforest. The once-thriving ecosystem is now in ruins, thanks to all the pollution in the area. 
And they aren't giving up.

MistWings have started to take over Pyrrhia, wanting to become the only tribe running it with the others underneath. They waged war on the other five tribes, and, due to their sheer power and animus team, have become a huge threat. 
After taking over the MudWings and a large chunk of the Sand Kingdom, the tribes realized something had to be done. However, some wanted to be allied to the dragons that could kill them, despite not agreeing, they'd rather be safe.

The war is an all-tribe one, with only two sides; The Mist Force and Pyrrhians.

The Mist Force has the MistWings, MudWings, and nearly half of the SandWings population, including the queen

The Pyrrhians have the IceWings, SkyWings, SeaWings, and the rest of the SandWings, who are held together by their Princess
